"Ladybug!"
      My head snapped around quickly. Did someone call my name? Suddenly, I honed in on one big cocoon in the middle. Of course, how did I not see that?! The other ones must be decoys! "Hold on everyone! I'm coming!" I yelled. Right now, I was focusing on this menace on front of me. I still couldn't find the akuma. "Lucky charm!" I yelled. A polka dotted firecracker. What would use this for? They weren't going to stay still long enough to do anything! Then, I spotted a teddy bear standing faithfully by Sniffler's side with a trail of thread from it's foot. Perfect.
*Alpha's POV*
      There was too many kids to calm down. Their wails and cries echoed on the walls and filled my head. To top it off, Chat Noir's ring was beeping like an alarm clock after the first dismissal and he was freaking out. It seemed like I was the only thing keeping the balance and even I was on the verge of tears. I shouldn't be in here, doing nothing. We are supposed to help Ladybug! Then, an idea popped in my head. "Chat Noir, I know how you can detransform! Get against the wall!" I yelled over the wailing and I pushed him against the cocoon walls. "Woah there, slow down. Go any faster and you might fall for me." He winked. I rolled my eyes and turned quickly, but I saw him catch my red cheeks. What was wrong with me? I spread my arms and tried to fill his form to protect him from the gaze of curious kids. "I'm blocking the view. Don't worry, I won't peek." I mumbled.
      Once he re-transformed, I turned and for a second, the blush returned. I never truly noticed how he filled his leather suit perfectly, the black material sticking to his muscular limbs like honey on biscuits. "See something you like?" He smirked. The blush stayed, but a frown covered my face. "N-no! Let's go. Do your thing!" I exclaimed hurriedly. How dare he make me blush like this! Ugh!
*Chat Noir POV*
   I activated my Cataclysm and disintegrated the walls of the cocoon. But we had little time to rejoice and much time to regret, because as soon as it completely disintegrated, we all freefell down to floor. I caught 4 kids by their collars and used my staff to go up, but their were hundreds of kids in that cocoon; there was no way I'd catch them before they hit the floor! "Ladybug, help!"
*LB POV*
      I chucked the firecracker next to me and scurried away to behind the duo. The Main Bear's head snapped to the sound and it started to waddle to it. Hastily, I stepped on the string, tripping it and opened the scissors. The slicing sound resonated through the cave as I sliced the head off and I separated it from the body. "Ladybug, help!"the voice called again. I spotted the kids screaming midair and Chat Noir desperately holding a handful along with Alpha. But I also saw the akuma flutter out of the bear.
         I purified the butterfly and threw the polka dotted scissors into the dark air. "Miraculous Ladybug!" I yelled and watched the red mass rush the room. Next thing I knew, I was on the street with hundreds of children littered around me and my two favorite superheroes by my side.
*Alpha POV*
    Once we landed on the ground, I popped up and quickly bapped my partners' fist. Chat Noir intertwined his fingers with mine and kissed my hand. "See you next time, Cupcake." He smirked. I blushed again. "Cupcake!?" I sputtered. "Yeah, because you're as sweet as cupcake icing." He said, twirling dramatically. I sighed and leaped down to search for the akumatized victim. Then I spotted a small girl, grasping a small bear. "Are you ok?" I bent down, wiping a beginning of a tear away. She nodded, but flinched away from my hand. As she jerked away, my eyes caught a bruise on the underside of her neck. My heart seemed to crack a little bit more. "Are your parents here?" I focused back on her face. On que, a slightly staggering man grasped her shoulder. "Is there a problem, miss?" He slurred.
         Inside me, me and Fengari growled with the anger of an angry lioness. I rose to my full height and stared him in the eye. "Is there?" I barked, pulling the girl softly to my leg. He cocked his head and smiled, fakely. "I'd hope not." He growled. "I think that Ms..."I looked to her for assistance. "Charlotte." she whispered. "Ms. Charlotte wants to stay with me for a little while, if that's ok with you, sir." I smiled back, just as fake. His smile turned into a scowl and he glared at Charlotte for a little bit, before stalking off back into the crowd. Charlotte looked at him for a second, before breaking down to tears against me. All I could do was hug her and reassure her. "It's gonna be ok."
*Adrien's POV*
      Once I de-transformed, I slumped against the alley wall. Why did I do that!!? My mind flashed to me kissing her gloved hand and a blush erupted over my whole body. Plagg sat on my shoulder, cackling. "Man I thought you were bold with Ladybug before, but this is a whole new level!" He laughed. I looked up and my brain flashed to my rejection.
*FLASHBACK DOODOODOODOODOO*
   I stood there, a red rose in both hands, waiting anxiously for My Lady to appear for our nightly patrol. A few minutes turned into an hour, and my hope of her turning up turned into dismay. But alas! Bugaboo finally appeared, flustered, but she was there! I greeted her with a peck on her knuckle, but she pulled away. "What do you need, Chat? I'm in a hurry, so spit it out!" She grumbled. Once again my hope crumbled a bit, but nonetheless, I launched into a Romeo-esque poem, specifically for her. But she looked down at the rose I thrust into her hand and placed it back in my hands. "I'm sorry, Chaton. I don't feel that way. You're a great partner and friend but I already have my eyes on another. " A small bubble of anger popped in me and I nodded. "I see."
        That's the day that my heart finally turned away from Ladybug, forever.
      But when I look at Alpha, my heart starts to finally turn to another. The only problem is, I already loved Roseline!
