Kane stared up at the sky, dropping Maribel hard on the rough ground as he rushed forward to see if it was all just a dream.

Kane motioned for his men to keep an eye on Maribel and the others while the battle raged on.

Cyril and his men might have been fighting against evil at the moment, but Augustus was already knocking them out one by one.

As the two battled the creatures, their thoughts lingered to what they could have lost and what was always at stake.

"Not today!" Augustus made sure that half of his army was there to take prisoners, "No one leaves this battlefield unless you're dead or going back to the castle!"

Beaten and bloody, the prisoners were taken by Augustus and his soldiers. The Soul Coven hitched a ride with the New Moon caravan with Kurt and the wolves.

Josette and Kane hopped into Zed's back and off they flew to the Moon Castle.

"Tell me what we're going to do with her," Josette said as they held onto each other during the flight, "Maribel.."
