A/N - I hope you enjoy this first chapter!

Percy POV!

I can't wait to see my girlfriend, I have been on a quest for six months to try and prove to Athena that I was worthy enough to marry her daughter, my wise girl Annabeth. I even got Athena to help design the ring I wanted to giver her daughter. Hephaestus made it for me.

I missed Annabeth so much and I am finally coming home. I walked through to Thalia's tree through the protective barrier and ran down to the big house. Chiron smiled as I walked up to him.

Percy, welcome back! I have some news for you, a Demi-God came through the barrier while you were away. He was claimed by Poseidon Chiron said, I smiled brightly, I missed having a brother at camp, since I never get to see Tyson anymore.

Awesome! Another brother! I can't wait to meet him! I exclaimed. Chiron smiled.

Have you seen Annabeth? I asked. Chiron nodded.

I saw her go to the beach a couple minutes ago, go and find her my boy! Chiron said, I nodded and ran down to the beach. When I get there, I see Annabeth with some guy. I smiled when I noticed that he had the same green eyes as I do, that can only mean he is my brother. I walked over to them and covered Annabeth's eyes.

Guess who? I whispered in her ear.

Percy! She said and turned around. I hugged her and she barely hugged me back. I looked at the boy looking at us and smiled at him.

Hi, I'm Percy Jackson. You are the new son of Poseidon, right? Welcome! I'm your brother. It's great to meet you I said sticking out my hand. He shook it and smiled.

Brandon Whittle, it's great to meet you too! He said, but I could detect a bit of jealousy, but it was probably nothing.

So tonight, let's meet on the beach. I have a surprise for you I told Annabeth. She smiled and nodded, I kissed her and waved bye to my brother. I walked to my cabin. When I opened the door Aphrodite was there with suits.

Lady Aphrodite, what are you doing here? I asked chuckling slightly. When I stayed with my father practicing my powers, Aphrodite was around a lot and she talked a lot about Percabeth. It's apparently Annabeth's and my ship name.

To dress you for tonight of course! You need to look hot! Finally Percabeth is getting engaged! She said excitedly. I laughed but complied with her, you do not want to say no to the goddess of love. I was there for three hours trying on suits for her. She finally picked the "perfect" one. Apparently it's Armani. It was almost time to meet up with Annabeth. I threw on the suit and thanked Aphrodite. I walked to the beach and saw Annabeth waiting for me. Man, isn't she beautiful. I walked over to her and smiled.

Hey beautiful I said, she smiled and said hi.

What's with the suit? She asked I smiled warmly.

Annabeth, you are my soul mate, I can't imagine my life without you and I don't want or plan too. As you know, I went on a quest. But not the reason you thought for. I got your moms blessing for marriage, so what I am saying is, Annabeth Chase. Will you marry me? I asked kneeling on one knee. She started crying, and it didn't seem like a happy cry.

Percy, when you were away, your brother and I went on a quest and we fell in love. I'm so sorry but I want to break up. She said, my smile fell. I felt my heart break but I knew that if my brother made her happy, then I'll let her go.

Hey, I get it. I was away and he was here. If Brandon makes you happy then I will let you go I said, my voice breaking a tad. She looked at me with confused eyes.

You are taking this better than expected she said, I shrugged.

My fatal flaw is loyalty. I know if I react badly to this, it will just hurt you more. I could never hurt you Annabeth. You are too important to me I explained. She nodded and I walked away. I walked back to my cabin and iris messaged Zeus.

Percy Jackson! He bellowed. I bowed acknowledging him.

Lord Zeus, I request a favour I said. He looked at me suspiciously.

What is it boy? He asked.

I request permission to sleep in your cabin I said. He looked at me confused.

Why? I heard you have a new brother. Can't stand him eh? The God asked chuckling. I sighed.

No my lord, it is not that. I just need a few days to myself. Please. I won't leave anything behind! I exclaimed. The God sighed but nodded.

Very well, you may use the cabin for one week! That is all! He said and cut the link. I smiled sadly walked outside. I saw Chiron and ran over to him.

Hey Chiron, if anything comes up and you need me, I will be in Zeus' cabin for a week. Don't worry I already cleared it with him I explained. Chiron nodded. And I attempted to smile and walked away.

A month later.

Perce, come on out. I believe you! Nico exclaimed. I sighed and tried to block him out. Let me explain, after that week in Zeus' cabin I went back to my one, true to my word. Stuff started to go missing and it ended up in my cabin and with Brandon barely in the cabin people blamed it on me. I didn't do anything. One night I saw Brandon sneaking into our cabin with a bag full of stuff and I pretended to sleep, he pushed all the stuff to my side and left. I tried to convince everyone that it was Brandon but everyone thought I was jealous cause he was hanging out with all my friends and dating my ex girlfriend. They all abandoned me when I needed them the most. People even started blaming me for the break up. Saying really terrible things. That is when the depression really set in. The only person who would believe me is Nico.

Nico, please. Not now. I said, I heard him sigh.

Fine, but soon he said frustratingly and walked away. Just then I got an iris message. It was Aphrodite, she has been Iris Messaging me every day to make sure I am alive. Thankfully I won't be for too much longer. I didn't answer her and I plunged a dagger into my heart. Right before I blacked out I heard a gasp.

Nico's POV

As soon as I walked away from Percy's cabin, I heard a scream from that direction and shadow traveled in. I gasped in shock at what I found. Percy with a dagger in his chest and Aphrodite standing over him. She immediately jumped into action and teleported us to Olympus. We were in the meeting room and Aphrodite called an emergency meeting. As soon as Apollo popped in, he gasped and went over to start healing Percy. The rest of the gods popped in annoyed until they saw Percy.

What in the hell happened! Zeus boomed, I started explaining what was going on in camp and the gods looked at me in horror.

Annabeth would never leave Percy, you are accusing my daughter of cheating and breaking this boys heart and letting rumours fly around saying otherwise! I should kill you now boy! Athena yelled. I backed away. My father chuckled lightly.

You just threatened my son Athena, you don't have the right too! Hades said angrily, Zeus quickly shut them up by cracking lightning.

Apollo, are you fixing my son? Poseidon asked in a broken tone. Apollo sighed.

I partly healed him. I can only heal so much when the person isn't willing to live. He will be up in a few minutes. He will in in monumental pain Apollo explained. I sighed, trying not to let the tears rolling. Father looked at the boy solemnly.

I fear I have more bad news. His mother and step father and baby sister just passed on a few days ago. Fire I am afraid Hades said. I looked at him in horror. Percy never told me that. I felt out for Sally Jacksons soul in the underworld. It was true. I looked at Percy to find he was gone.

Where's Percy? I asked the gods, they looked around the room and started panicking. I ran out of the council room and noticed Percy was almost at the edge of Olympus.

Percy, please don't! I said running up next to him. The gods were right behind me.

Percy's POV

As soon as I woke up, I noticed I was I the council room on Olympus. Lord Apollo must have healed me I thought. I noticed that they were not paying attention to me, so I ran to the edge of Olympus. I was almost there when Nico called out to me.

I'm sorry Nico, take care of our friends and tell Thalia I am sorry I said, then I jumped. I was falling, then I wasn't. I opened my eyes and I was back in the council room with the gods and Nico.

Why can't you let me die! I have nothing to live for. Zeus! Please I am begging you! Kill me! I will do anything! I pleaded. Zeus looked away from me. So I turned to Hades.

Hades, please! End my suffering! I can't stand being here, breathing I told him. He avoided my gaze. I looked to Hephaestus.

Please, burn me! It won't be as painful as my life! I said, he sighed and groaned and looked to Ares.

You have always wanted to pay me back for beating you all those years ago. Let's fight! You win, I will do whatever you want. I win, I die! I exclaimed. Ares scoffed.

Give it up kid, no-ones gonna fulfill your death wish! He smirked. I felt my hope diminish a bit but looked to Athena.

You heard the rumours, they were true. I broke your daughters heart and I don't care. I am a heartless and unworthy person and if you wanted to, you could punish me to death right here and now I said. Athena shook her head but said nothing.

Hermes, Luke is dead because of me! Kill me! I taunted. Hermes looked like he was sorry for me and ignored me. So I looked to Mr. D.

Mr. D, now is your chance to kill a camper. You know you want to! I tried to persuade. Mr. D just looked at me and chuckled a bit.

Hera, you will kill me, right? I asked,she shook her head and looked away sadly.

Hestia, you will be doing me a favour by killing me! Please! I begged. She also looked away sadly.

Aphrodite, if you don't kill me, I will paint your throne black! I threatened. She looked at me sadly.

I'm not going to kill you! Please Percy, see reason! She said.

Artemis, you hate men! That means you hate me! Kill me or I will make all your hunters fall for me, break their oath and then I'll break their hearts! Just like I did with Annabeth! I lied. She just looked at me.

I know you are lying. I won't do it Artemis said. I narrowed my eyes.

Apollo, do it or I'll kill your sacred animal! I said, he just smirked.

I just saved your butt and know you want me to kill you? No can do little cuz! Apollo said. I turned to my father.

If you love me at all, you will kill me I said, Poseidon looked down sadly.

I'm sorry son, I love you but I can't kill you he explained, he flashed out.

Nico's POV

I felt sad to see my best friend and cousin like this. To see him so broken. He is one of the strongest people I know.

WHY WONT YOU KILL ME?!!! Percy yelled, he broke down crying. I saw all the gods except Artemis giving him
Looks of sympathy. Has she no heart? She has some respect for Percy but not a lot. I would hate to see how she would react to a man for whom she has no respect. I noticed that Zeus and Artemis looked like they were having a conversation through their minds. Artemis looked mad.

Percy, the gods have an offer for you, instead of dying you become a god Zeus said.

Percy's POV

I looked at him like he was insane. Me immortal? Living forever knowing I was hated by my friends? But then again it looks like they aren't giving me much of a choice.

Do I really have a choice? I asked Zeus. He shook his head. The gods started chanting in Greek. They were talking so fast, I couldn't understand them. I felt the power run through my veins. I felt a head rush from all the power.

All hail Perseus God of storms, animals, sword fighting, loyalty and the betrayed! Zeus said. I smiled, feeling slightly better.

Percy, would you do me the honour of being my champion? Hestia asked. I smiled fully and bowed to her.

It would be my honour m'lady I said, I felt a rush of power flow through my veins once again.

So, Artemis has a question for you Percy! Zeus said smugly, I looked at Artemis expectantly.

Would you like to become the guardian of the hunt? She asked, slightly annoyed. I once again bowed.

Of course m'lady. I swear of the river of Styx and creator Chaos that I will protect the hunt with my life, only care for the huntress' and Artemis as family and promise never to flirt with them I said. I don't really know what came over me to say that, but I felt it must be said.

You are the first one in many years who has sworn on my name young god a voice behind me said. I turned around to see the creator, lord Chaos. I bowed.

I am sorry if I upset you m'lord. But it felt right I explained. Lord Chaos smiled.

Indeed, which is why I am giving you a blessing Lord Chaos said right before a beam of light came rushing at me. I felt something forming on my back.

You have wings and now are a shape shifter, your welcome said Chaos. I smiled a tad and once again bowed.

Thank you lord Chaos I said. He sighed.

Please, I hate formalities. Stop with the bowing! He exclaimed and the gods all chuckled.

My turn! Aphrodite sung, I inwardly groaned. A powder set over me and a mirror was conjured. I looked in it. I was taller, my hair jet black (a couple shades darker than my original hair), my once dull green eyes were almost neon green, I had a six pack and my muscles were more defined but not disgustingly so.

No take backs! Aphrodite expressed. I just nodded and said thank you. I got a few other blessings also.

Hephaestus- forging weapon skills

Apollo - healing abilities

Hades - shadow traveling

Aphrodite- the makeover and charm speak

Demeter - control over nature

Mr. D - ability to hold my liquor

Ares - he gave me an amazing sword called ο αξιότιμος or the honourable.

Zeus - freedom over his domain and control over lightning

Poseidon asked me to be his heir and I said yes.

Athena - wisdom and knowledge  of battle strategies

Artemis - true aim, because according to her, she will not let me ruin the name of the hunter's archery skills

Hecate - power of magic

And lastly Hermes gave me the power of pranking cause apparently I suck at it.

Milady, may I ask one favour? I asked Artemis. She glared at me.

What? She snapped. I sighed.

I ask not to be revealed as Percy, to be known as a different name. I need a fresh start. I understand that the hunters won't accept me easily, if at all but at least it a fresh start I said, she looked at me and nodded.

Fellow gods and goddesses, Percy Jackson is dead.  You know shall be called Alpha Artemis said. The gods nodded, agreeing.
