Chapter 28
Bucky fell into her seduction like he always did. He couldn't resist her, through no fault of her own. He sank into the kiss with Gwen, his teeth grazed her lower lip before he kissed and sucked it. His hands slid down her sides and she moaned and relaxed into the kiss, purring softly as her tail brushed over his non-metal arm.
Bucky smirked and grabbed her fluffy tail, pinning it and stroking the soft fur, soon rubbing the base of her tail. That made her moan loudly at the very teasing attention to her extremely sensitive tail. Bucky quickly slipped off his boxers. A quick thought went to the drawer of condoms before the big brain reminded him that Gwen was on birth control before he rubbed his length against her.
They both worked to quickly remove Gwen's clothes so Bucky could rub her wet slit. He tugged on her tail, nibbling on her furry ears. He didn't mind that she was different and used those sensitivities to his advantage now. Gwen was a werewolf and the ears and tail were just a part of who she was. It didn't make her any less human.
He was focused on her, on her body beneath him, her whimpers of desire as he teased all of the sensitive parts of her. She kissed him desperately and he swallowed her moans as he lined himself up. Her hips moved, begging for him to keep going, to satisfy them both.
Bucky slid gently into her soaked folds. She stretched for him and moaned her pleasure as he eased his way in. "You're so ready for me. What did I do right to have you?" He groaned the praise as he bottomed out in her.
"You love me despite that I'm a werewolf," she replied with love and pleasure in her eyes.
"I think I love you partly because you are," Bucky admitted, scratching behind her wolf ears and making her purr. He stroked her tail and her hips bucked against him in pleasure.
Bucky found himself curious to see if she liked something they'd not tried yet. He circled her smaller hole, below her tail. She gasped in surprised, but didn't stop him, curious "Sweetheart, have you done anything with this spot yet?" He asked her gently.
She shook her head. "No, I haven't" she said softly, her voice a soft moan.
"Okay, I'll just wait until we have a day to ourselves," he reassured her. He didn't want to push her right now, but would savor that planning for another day.
She was confused why they needed a day to themselves for that, but she shrugged it off and returned to her wonderful task of kissing him. He gladly accommodated her and moved his hips, moving himself inside her. "Forgive me?" He asked her breathlessly.
"Forgiven," she purred. "And me?"
"You have been forgiven... since you took that bullet."
That came across less than reassuring, but she accepted what she could get and they moved together. Bucky's thrusts became faster as she was stretched around him. They moved as one when they found their rhythm and Bucky swallowed her cries of pleasure in the kisses as they both came.
When they were both sated, they curled up in each other's arms the get some sleep.

The next morning Gwen was called down to the debrief room alone. Bucky tried to protest that, but he was out ranked. So he went as far as he could and waited in the hall outside for her. He could hear the yelling from the hall as Tony and Steve both tore into her for being so stupid and reckless on the mission. Bucky wanted to bust in desperately, knowing that she'd be crying any moment. Tony and Steve were being so stupid with her. They were going to break her. And there was nothing he could do to help. Not until after.
It killed him that he couldn't help her.
She was in tears long before they let her leave, and practically ran from the debrief room when it was finally over. She ran past Bucky, heading straight for the stairs up to somewhere safe. Bucky followed after her, but not before glaring at Steve and Tony. They both glared right back at him, but Bucky didn't care. She hadn't deserved that and they were both on his shit list for upsetting her.
He ran after Gwen, but even on two legs she was faster than he was. When he finally caught up to her, it was to find a wolf-shaped wolf hiding under his bed. He hadn't seen her shift except during the full moon, at night, but he knew from her whines that she was in wolf form. He carefully sat on the floor next to his bed and tried to coax her out, speaking softly and soothingly. She whimpered and curled in a tighter ball, staying firmly under his bed, tucked in the corner where he couldn't reach her.
Bucky snarled softly at the sight when he laid down to look under the bed. He took a picture and sent it as an angry text to Steve and Tony along with the message: This is what you accomplished. She's not going to be able to even look at a mission folder, and not ever going to volunteer for one either. You should have talked to me. I already scolded her after we got home!
Bucky didn't know how long it took him of reassuring her, talking to her, soothing her before he finally coaxed the frightened little wolf out from under his bed. Though she trembled, her head hung and tail down. "I had no part or say in what they did. But I did tell them they were out of line," he tried to reassure her when he finally saw her properly.
She whined softly and curled herself in his lap, trembling and miserable and looking pathetic. He grabbed the dog brush he'd purchased recently for her and slowly started brushing her fur, trying to get her to relax and stop trembling. She reeked of terror and he hated that she was so afraid.
He heard Steve and Tony knocking on her door across the hallway, not realizing she was in his room. He didn't care what they were doing as long as they didn't scare her anymore. Her ears perked up and she sniffed the air. She glared at the door with a snarl before she dove back under Bucky's bed. He growled at the lost progress with her. He heard their voices clearly now that he focused on them.
Tony was talking softly. "Gwen?"
Then Steve, "I hope she didn't run away."
Bucky knew that if it hadn't been for him, she probably would have run. He also thought it was good for them to sweat bullets. Let them freak out for a bit. They deserved it for getting her so terrified.
Lady Loki appeared in the room a few minutes later. Bucky barely noticed, as he was used to Loki just showing up whenever the fuck she felt like it. "She's here, isn't she? Morons, searching the tower before coming to see if she was with you," Loki commented, rolling her eyes.
Bucky laughed out right, trust Loki to know how to make him feel better. "Yep. I sent the photo from my room and of her hiding under a bed."
Loki rolled her eyes again. "Morons" she repeated. She knelt beside Bucky to peer under the bed. "Poor little frightened thing." Loki really did have a soft spot for wolves, especially this one.
Bucky nodded. "I got on to them too. Perhaps it's what prompted them to come looking for her."
Loki shrugged, "Probably" she reached a hand out toward the scared wolf. "Shh, little one. It's alright" she soothed, a hint of green magic shimmering to calm the poor thing. "Would you like to stab the Captain and Shellhead or shall I?"
Bucky sighed. "Loki, you know better than that," he reminded his friend that she wasn't supposed to stab the team no matter how stupid they were being. "Maybe just punch them instead..." Bucky teased.
"I do not know better than that when those I care for are harmed," Loki's tone didn't change from her soothing croon, despite her harsh words. She wouldn't frighten Gwen any more than she already was.
"I don't know how long it will take to reverse the damage they've done" Bucky was afraid of that, afraid they'd broken Gwen. "You can talk to her, ask her to come back from wolf form?"
Loki nodded and shimmered to wolf form to better communicate with her. It took a little while for Loki to convince her to come back out from under the bed. Loki changed back quickly and dug in Bucky's dresser while Gwen curled in Bucky's lap and shifted back. Loki tossed Bucky one of his own shirts and pairs of sweatpants to dress the girl in. Bucky sighed in relief as he helped her dress so she wouldn't be naked in front of him (a big scary man) or Loki. "I was afraid that you'd never change back," he admitted as he cuddled her close and safe in his arms.
She still trembled. "I didn't want to," she said softly, her voice tiny and afraid.
"You'd have stayed that way?" Bucky was horrified. He didn't want to lose her, not like that. Not to be trapped in wolf form forever out of fear.
"Not forever" she admitted, "but longer." She'd have stayed that way for days until she felt safe.
He was worried about her mental health here and his mind whirled about how to fix this. He stood and tucked her into her nest in his bed, wrapping the blankets and pillows around her so she'd feel safe.
"I think I'm going to retire from the Avengers."
