Diana's POV
Wow. I can't believe it, Luca and I....we finally did it! I could tell my scent completely changed as they both mixed together. Though we, you know, completed the mating process, I couldn't help but feel guilty. He claimed me as his completely yet I wasn't able to do the same.

I couldn't mark him, I couldn't do anything!

"What's on your mind baby?" Luca whispered in a raspy voice. I laid my cheek on his bare chest, tracing my name on it with my fingers. I shook my head, keeping my mouth shut. He noticed my stressed state, asking once more.

"You know, you can tell me anything?" I nodded this time. I rested my chin on his chest, staring into his gorgeous orbs.

"I feel guilty." He looked stunned for a moment before asking.

"Do you regret...it?" I gasped, shaking my head quickly.

"NO! Luca that was amazing! I feel guilty because I can't claim you as mine." He raised an eyebrow, licking his lips.

"But I'm already yours." I rolled my eyes, groaning. Boys really are stupid.

"Luca listen. You claimed me as yours by marking me, then completing the mating process. I can't mark you, there is no way of me being able to...well claim...YOU."'I emphasized 'you' raising my voice a tiny bit. He stared at me blankly and burst out laughing. I climbed on top of him, straddling his bare waist. I ran my hands up and down his godlike body.

"What's so funny?" His large hands went to my waist, grasping onto it tightly.

"Darling, I'm already yours, no mark can or will change that." I sighed frowning, though I nodded agreeing. I shifted my thighs, trying to get more comfortable. He sat up and leaned his back against the baseboard of the bed.

"I love you," Luca added, cooing as he pulled me into his chest. I kissed him longingly, pulling our lips apart slowly.

"I love you too."

I hopped off of his lap, pulling the sheets along with me to cover my naked self. Luca whined causing me to roll my eyes.

"Why are you covering yourself from me?" I giggled replying,

"You've seen me too much, if you see me again, we won't ever leave this bedroom." With those words, I dragged my feet into the walk-in closet. I chose my clothes for the day, also known as a pair of leggings and a baggy sweater.

The closet door opened, showing my sexy mate walk in. His nakedness made me check him out more than I would have thought.

"Keep looking baby, I'm all yours." Instead of being embarrassed as I thought I would, my response left him shocked.

"Oh I know, I'm never going to stop staring." I saw him pick out a plain black tee from the pile of literally hundreds of them. He wore dark blue jeans and a pair of mountain boots. I went behind him, holding his torso, my hands went to wear his recent wound was.

"Are you doing okay?" Luca turned his head to the side, nodding.

"It's healing faster than I would have expected. Anyways, you ready to head downstairs?"

"Always ready."

We made it downstairs, seeing Hayden and Jade sitting on the loveseat. Blake and Monica stood next to them, speaking quietly amongst themselves. They sniffed the air, their heads now facing us. Monica screamed loudly and ran up to me.

"OH MY GOD!!! CONGRATULATIONS YOU GUYS!" She jumped up and down, hugging the both of us. I stared at her awkwardly as Luca smiled politely.

"Is it really that obvious?" I asked quietly. She squealed pulling me into another hug. Monica whispered in my ear.

"So obvious." The doorbell rang, I grabbed Luca's hand, dragging him to the door with me.

"Darling what are you doing?"

"Last time I answered the door, I found my whole group on the verge of death. Maybe with you here there will be no more surprises." I opened the door seeing James smiling.

"James, what the hell are you doing here?" James pointed at me before answering Luca.

"Good morning to you too Alpha, you seem to be doing much better. Luna called me a couple of nights ago about some sort of meeting." Holy crap how could I forget? I moved out of the way allowing James to enter into our home.

"Please come in, sit down and get comfortable, would you like anything to drink?" He took a seat on the blood-stained couch.

"Water will be just fine, thank you, Luna." I nodded, making my way into the kitchen. There Lena sat with Aiden arguing about some sort of bet they had made before we came here.

"No way! I knew you would choose Sarah over Maya. Give me those 20 bucks." Ahhh, that's what it was about. Let me fill you in on the details.

Aiden was dumped by his girlfriend, Sarah before all this happened. He then met a girl named Maya a few days before his college started, and started to have feelings for her.

Things got messy, Maya ran back to her ex-boyfriend and Sarah played with his heart both times.

I interrupted their conversation by turning on the faucet filling a glass with cold water. Lena finally took notice of me.

"Hey, Diana! Oh my goodness, Hayden is up and running again!" I smiled at her cheerful state.

"Why so happy all of a sudden?" She shook her head, sighing deeply.

"I have no idea. Something good is going to come my way."

I raised my eyebrows. The door swung open, Luca walking in. He gave me a quick peck.

"Darling, why is our Gamma in the living room?" I kissed his neck, and stood on my tippy toes, wrapping my arms around his shoulders.

"When you were hurt... I didn't want Jay to worry about anything and I couldn't make a decision on killing your brother without you. I decided on calling James and adding more security in the pack. JUST until you got better." He sighed, holding my cheeks. His tall figure hovered over mine.

"Well, now that I am here I will make sure nothing else happens to this pack. To our pack." Tears welled in my eyes as I smiled at him.

"Okay, no more sappy love in here!" Lena yelled. I laughed at her reaction, wiping away any tears that dared to leave. I handed Luca the glass of water, looking up at him.

"I'll be out there in a sec," My focus turned to Aiden who sat there playing with his fingers. "Aiden, why don't you go out with him? They might need your help." They soon left, leaving me with Lena. I pulled her into a loving embrace, falling to the ground with her.

"I'm so sorry about everything." The waterworks came again. She tightened her grip on me as we laid on the kitchen floor together. I stared at her before laughing. She did the same.

"I'm sorry about everything also." She replied. I knew we kept saying it, yet it just never felt like either of us meant it.

I stood up from the tiled floor, pulling Lena up with me, breathing in and out slowly to labor my heavy breathing.

"Why don't we go into the living room with everyone else?" I put my hand out for her to hold onto. Thankfully, she grabbed it. I swung the kitchen door open and saw James' head snap up.

"Holy shit something smells good in here!" Lena exclaimed. My head turned left and right from James and Lena. I saw his eyes darken as he stood up immediately. His canines grew, feet shuffling towards the both of us.

"Lena, stand behind me." I pushed her behind me, staring at James's with a stern look.

"Diana, what the f*ck is going on?" I glanced at her from my shoulder.

"You just found your mate."

Lena's POV

"My my what?" Diana ignored me, putting an arm up as a way to protect me.

"Back away James, I won't ask again. I just need to speak with her." I saw him snarl at Diana, who backed up slowly.

"Let me see my mate." His blue eyes turning into a dark shade of brown. She shook her head. He put a hand on her shoulder, pushing her harshly, causing a loud roar to be heard from behind both of them. The next thing you know Luca has the man named James pinned to the floor.

Luca stood up standing in front of the both of us, his back the only thing visible.

"You dare touch my mate!?! Your Luna!?!" Luca yelled angrily, breathing in and out heavily. Diana touched his arm, cooing soft things in his ear. I saw him grasp her waist, taking in her smell it seemed like.

In the corner of my eye, Hayden and Aiden stood close to Jade, covering her from all of the stress. Blake grabbed a hold of Monica's hand, pushing her back a slight bit.

"Why won't you let me near my mate!!!?!?!" James howled angrily. I honestly can't even believe this is happening, I had a mate. A mate?

"I just want to talk to her. She will fear you, trust me on this." Diana said in a hardened tone.

"No, I want to see her and that's final," James argued back, he stood up of the ground and grabbed a hold of my wrist, harshly pulling me towards him. The quiet gasp left my lips as soon as my body made contact with his. A rush of butterflies filled my stomach, causing shivers to run down my spine.

"Lena, you need to talk to me first, please trust me." Diana pleaded, her eyes filled with worry. What was I supposed to say?

"Don't listen to her, she will try and take you away from me!" I flinched at the loud tone of the man who held me against his chest. I didn't mind it though and I had no idea why. His grip on me tightened letting me bite my lip from the pain.

"James let go of her you are hurting her!" Diana yelled running up to the man, trying to pull him off of me. She has harshly shoved away and thrown into the wall, her head slamming against it. This was not going to end well and I could feel it.

Diana's POV

I groaned in pain, grabbing a hold of the back of my head. So much for just letting Lena know the basics of having a mate. Blood was seeping through my now new fresh wound and trickled down my hand.

"You are f*cking dead!" Luca roared once more, tackling James to the floor. My sight began to get fuzzy and a ringing started to become heard in my ears. I saw Luca punching James and dragging him across the floor as Jay started to take over.

"Hey stop it guys!" Lena yelled.

"B-Blake! S-Stop them!" I stuttered out as I saw Blake standing back a little bit. I stood up slowly, limping my way to Luca, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"L-Luca stop it!" He didn't seem to listen and continued to hurt James.

"Luca, honey please stop!" This time I wrapped my arms around him, trying to say soothing words into his ears. It worked after a few minutes. I kept my arms wrapped around him, as he stood up and turned his body to face me.

"You should have just let me kill the bastard," Luca whispered. I grabbed my bleeding head, trying to put pressure on it before replying to Luca.

"No, you can't do that. How would you feel if someone killed me?" He growled holding me very close in a possessive manner.

"That's not f*cking happening."

I turned my head a little to the right to see James standing up and making his way to Lena. He reached a hand out to her and she backed away with fright.

Lena ran upstairs and slammed her bedroom door, causing silence to abrupt.

I glanced at James, shaking my head before hissing out,

"You should have listened to me."
