Diana's POV

"U-understood." Luca took his foot off, causing Xavier to make a wheezing noise as he tried to take in as much air as possible.

"Wow," Blake said jokingly on the floor, holding his head.

Wow is right Blake, Wow is freaking right.

Everything seemed to get quiet except for some chatter here and there. I held Luca's hand and yelled out for Daniel.

"Daniel! Come in here for a moment please!" The kitchen door slowly swung open revealing a very emotional Daniel. His nose was red as he was sniffing, the pinkness in his eyes indicating he was crying.

"Yes, Diana?" I extended my left arm, reaching for him. He quickly shuffled his way to me, crying in my arms while Luca wrapped his arm around my body.

"I need your help," I whispered into Daniel's ear. He nodded for me to go on.

"You need to stay with Blake and Monica. Help him out a bit and get this place a little bit more...clean. Can you do that?" Daniel let go of me and made his way towards them. I put my attention back to the two kings in front of me.

"Let's get you both cleaned up and we can talk. Both of you in the office. Now." My voice was stern as I pointed to the stairs. Xavier made his way upstairs, Luca didn't move at all.

"Luca-" He cut me off resting a hand on the nape of my neck.

"I'm not leaving you. I want you with me at all times." My hand was now on his stubble cheek.

"I'll be up there in 2 minutes. I just need to talk to Jade. I'll be with you, remember I'm yours okay?" He hesitated before heading upstairs. I went into the kitchen and saw Lena and James speaking to each other, Jade was in a daze.

James noticed me and stood up quickly.

"Luna." He bowed his head with respect before sitting down again. I smiled and took a seat next to Jade.

"James. Why don't you and Lena go and check up on everyone? I'm sure they are very shaken up. Also maybe hand out a snack to everyone since dinner is ruined." James bowed his head once again.

"Yes, Luna." They left the kitchen, silence cutting through the thick air. Jade held her belly, rubbing it once in a while.

"I'm very excited to meet the baby. Do you know the gender?" She chuckled, shaking her head.

"Never had the time, we were planning on checking out after the trip." I nodded slowly.

"Well, I'm sure I can get the pack doctors to set up an appointment with you. We can figure out who the new member of our group will be." Her eyes welled up with teardrops making her blue eyes shine more. Jade let out a throaty laugh nodding excitedly.

"That would be awesome." We embraced for a moment.

"Do you know how far along you are?"

"6 months." My eyes nearly popped out of my head.

"6 months?!?! How did you keep it as a secret for that long!?!" She shrugged her shoulders.

"Well, I was wondering if you would come and help me bandage up the grumpy Kings upstairs. Would you mind helping?" This time her eyes widened and she immediately shook her head, waving her hands back and forth

"No way. I can't."

"Nothing will happen I promise. I'll kick their ass before I can ever let that happen." She thought about it for a moment before agreeing.

"Sweet."

"Got everything?" Jade asked sweetly. I smiled and cleared my throat. All the first-aid supplies slipping out of my hands.

"Can you please open the office door?" Her slim hands made their way the metal doorknob knocking quietly as she opened the door. There Xavier stood, leaning against the wall, his head resting on a painting.

Luca sat back in his chair staring at me deeply. I blew him a small kiss walking to him.

"Xavier, this is Jade. She will fix you up, come take a seat in the chair." I dropped all the stuff on the desk and pointed to the chair in front of Luca's, the desk the only barrier.

I began grabbing some alcohol and a rag and patted Luca's bottom lip. His gaze made me feel all jittery inside, butterflies roaming in my stomach.

I saw him smile a little bit still staring at me. My lips pointed upwards, raising my eyebrow.

"What?" I asked curiously. He pulled me down so his lips were close to mine, our smiles closer together.

"You're just beautiful." He whispered in a low tone, enough for just a mouse to hear. I kissed him slowly before continuing to fix up his lip. I heard Xavier roar loudly causing me to turn around to see if Jade was okay.

"I know, I'm sorry but it's going to hurt hon," Jade muttered continuing to put alcohol on his eyebrow. I felt Luca grab my chin and moved my head so I would face him again. He patted his lap and allowed me to sit down as I proceeded to work.

"Don't worry, I wouldn't let her get hurt," Luca said loudly, enough for Xavier to scoff and roll his eyes.

"Come on Alpha Mason, you really think that low of me?" Xavier said in a joking voice giving him aside smile. Luca had an emotionless face and kept quiet. I decided to start the conversation between the two.

"So Xavier, tell us why you are here?" I dabbed the rag in more alcohol and grabbed Luca's hand, wiping off the blood from them.

"Well, it's about the whole Theo situation. Alpha Mason, he destroyed my territory to the brim. We have nowhere to stay, I've had Alpha Leo and Alpha Zander take in my people for a bit. He also took my Beta."

"Anything else?" Luca asked. Xavier reached something out of his pocket causing Luca to let out a cautious grumble.

He tossed the crumpled piece of paper to me and I unfolded it slowly, putting the stained rag down. Luca hovered his head over my shoulder, trying to read what it says.

This was just a warning, tell my brother they will be next. Tonight is the beginning of it all.

I covered my mouth and hid my face in Luca's shoulder. He rubbed my back for reassurance and grabbed the note out of my hands. I saw him have a determined look on his face.

He pushed me up a bit and ripped the note tossing it to the side of him.

"Some bullshit. We need to get ready for war...like now." Luca pinched the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes in irritation.

"When...is this war?" Jade asked.

"It already started," Luca mumbled. I stopped breathing for a moment. I stood up from his lap and helped him up.

"We need to get ready, call James and Blake up right away. I need the boys in your group to come up, except for the little one." Luca ordered.

"I'll go get them," Jade spoke again making her way to the door. I was about to follow her but stopped in front of Xavier.

"You want to help? We gotta work together. Get in contact with your Gamma and your best warriors. Have them come here right away." I demanded.

"Woah, when did you get super bossy?" Xavier asked.

"I would shut up if I were you dumbass," Luca said from behind me. I ignored their remarks and continued to speak.

"You both need to work together, and that is an order from your Luna Queen, is that clear?"

"But-"
"Hold on a minute-"

"IS that clear?" I heard them both sigh in defeat and agreed with me. I smiled like a dork and went back to Luca. I gave him a passionate kiss before making my way to the door.

"Luca, sweetie, try not to rip his head off." He snarled at Xavier.

"I'll try not to."

"What do you MEAN SHE DIDN'T COME DOWN HERE TO GET YOU?!?" I yelled at the top of my lungs in anger at the 5 boys in front of me.

"Luna, she never showed up ." Blake tried to calm me down. Hayden started to worry and walked closer to me.

"Diana, please tell me she's okay, I really hope she's here." I made a popping noise with my mouth and tangled my hands into my hair.

"This is not good." I looked around and tried to check up on Alex. I checked around the living room.

"Where's Alex?" Crap, not him either. This is not good. He's a quiet kid, maybe in his room? I walked towards the guest room he was staying in.

"Alex?" There was no response and I started to really freak out. Oh no. This isn't right.

I ran into the living room and saw none of the boys there. I sprinted up the stairs and ran into the office.

My heart was beating fast as I barged into the office. Eyes were all on me as I saw them kneeling onto the ground, rogues keeping them all captive.

"Well, well, well look here. It's the Luna Queen." They all started bowing and joking about me. I tried to find Luca but he was the empty face missing. I gulped loudly and stared at the rogue in front of me.

"Where is he?" I wanted to burst into tears then and there but I held them back. All that I heard was laughter.

"Luca is somewhere...else along with your pregnant friend." I slammed the door behind me and began looking around the room. Trying to find something to distract them. To my right, Blake howled in pain as a silver knife began cutting him. Monica screamed and struggled in the grasp of the dark man who held her tight to his chest.

"NO!" I turned my head and saw Hayden bite the man's wrist that was wrapped around his neck. A knife slid towards my feet and I quickly grabbed it. The tip was pointed to the ring leader who stood a few feet away from me.

"You better let everyone here go, or you will regret it." In the corner of my eye, I saw one of them move closer to me. My back hit someone's back, I heard Hayden whisper something in my ear.

"Go save them." He grabbed the knife from my grasp and threw it into the skull of the rogue who held Monica. She shifted and made her way to the monster who hurt her mate. All the rogues made their way to her allowing Daniel to escape their hands.

"Diana GO!" Daniel yelled. I felt him grab my hand and open the window.

"I'm sorry." Daniel whimpered before pushing me out of the window. My back made a loud thud as I fell two stories down onto the hard floor, my foot in pain once again.

"SON OF A B*TCH!" I saw a pocket knife plunge into the ground next to me. My vision went up back to the window to see Blake winking a little as his scars begun to heal.

"STAY SAFE LUNA!" He closed the window and left me alone. I struggled to stand, but after a few tries, I finally was able to get up. The knife was now gripped into my palm as I made my way closer into the territory.

I closed my eyes as I was limping, trying to mind-link Luca, but he wasn't responding causing me to sweat in discomfort and fear.

"Please be okay Luca," I muttered under my breath.

"Hey did you hear that?" A graveled voice spoke. I covered my mouth and hid behind a thin tree, squeezing my eyes shut. Don't make a sound Diana, keep quiet. I backed up slowly and kicked a rock causing a loud noise of the leaves to crunch.

"Alpha Theo I definitely heard that." A high pitched voice spoke afterward. Shit.

"Maybe just a squirrel or something. Just stay quiet." I heard their footsteps fade away. After a couple of seconds I peeked out to see if they were still there and let me tell you, it was a bad f*cking move. There was a tug on my hair causing me to moan in pain.

I kicked the other female in the knee causing her to back up. I tackled her to the ground and raised the knife up getting ready to stab her.

"THEO!" I stabbed her in the heart and ripped the knife out with ease. I stood up and saw her shift into her wolf, the stench becoming stronger each second.

"Impressive Luna Queen, let's see if you can face me." I looked up and saw Theo standing right in front of me. Oh, I am SO f*cked.
