Diana's POV

"Babe, we're werewolves."

I stared at him blankly, blinking a couple of times. I bit my bottom lip to prevent myself from laughing. I snorted finally bursting while holding my stomach as it cramped.

"W-werewolves?" I hummed, laughing a little more.

I saw 'Beta' Matt looking at me annoyed, rolling his eyes. I licked my lips, standing up out of the stool, limping towards Matt folding my arms. I went onto the tip of my toes, our noses touching.

"Prove it," I smirked, he smirked back also, letting out a small growl.

My eyes shifted to his mouth, watching his teeth grow out into large canines. I gasped, backing away until my back hit the kitchen island. I covered my mouth, shaking my head slowly. I then saw his eyes shift color, a darker color. My finger pointed toward him, my hands shaking.

"Your eyes! They are getting darker!"

I saw him close his eyes, breathing in slowly, before opening his brown eyes again. They were back to normal, his teeth went back to normal also. I sat back down and began speaking to myself, ignoring Matt's presence.

"So that was all real last night? I'm not crazy!?!" I put my hands in my hair, looking down at the ground mumbling and muttering things in shock.

"Don't be shocked too much sweetheart." I rolled my eyes, watching him stare at me.

"Sooooo, you and Xavier are a thing now?"

I saw him lean against the wall next to me, waiting for my response. I shook my head very rapidly with wide eyes.

"What? No! What makes you think that?"

I saw him stare at my body, looking back into my brown eyes. Glancing down, realizing I was still wearing Xavier's shirt, which looked like a dress on me. I turned bright pink, letting out a weird noise.

"Whaaa, this? Oh, it's nothing."

I saw him frown and raise his eyebrows nodding really slowly. I scoffed.

"Mhm." I heard Matt mumble making me glare at him. I saw his head immediately snapped up, a stern look on his face. He began sniffing the air, growling loudly stepping in front of me in a protective manner. I shivered worried asking the acquaintance,

"W-what's wrong." His claws grew in a quick second.

"Rogue." His voice was filled with hatred

  I peeked over his shoulder seeing a man walk into the kitchen from the door Xavier and I walked through, I got a closer look, gasping loudly. It was him.

"I-its you," I whispered. The man who was the wolf that chased me away from my group.

"You know him, sweetheart?" Matt asked, growling more. I was out of words, trying to find something to say, shaking and making small fists, moving my mouth to say something. Suddenly I did.

"He tried to kill me," I whispered once more.

I saw Matt shift into a wolf, including the man. I screamed as loud as I possibly could. Matt bit the other wolf in the neck causing him to whimper. The sound of snarling and roaring was heard as I watched them trying to kill each other.  I ran out of the kitchen and went outside, running without stopping.

I felt my foot twist, causing me to trip and face plant the ground. I groaned in pain, trying to get up. Someone bit into my, well Xavier's shirt dragging me back. I screamed once more, kicking the wolf's head with my one strong foot. It whimpered letting go of the shirt. In a rush, I got back up, limping I went the opposite direction of where Matt was. Where Xavier was, I really hope he forgives me.

I bit my lip hard, allowing some blood to drip down to my chin. I wiped off the access with the back of my hand, continuing to limp farther away from everything. Every now and then a whimper would leave my mouth making it harder to walk. I looked up at the sky, feeling raindrops hit my face. Every drop felt like bullets hitting my face.

"God, why me? What is the purpose of me being in this much pain?"

I closed my eyes, breathing in and out heavily, holding in everything. I remembered the study session I had a few days before this incident had occurred, with my group. I remembered saying these words.

"We go ahead and destroy things, not God. We humans can't show love and respect towards each other."

They weren't human. I continued to think and limp at the same time, terror rushing into my body like a hurricane. I breathed in shakily again, a headache starting to occur.

I moaned, grasping my head. Howling was heard behind me, I had begun sprinting without thinking straight. I turned to look back to see three wolves chasing me, one was much larger than the others as he was howling and growling. I sprinted faster, turning a sharp right trying to lose them.

I felt myself breathing hard, trying to catch in as much air as I possibly could. I turned back around checking if I had lost them, I did. In a rush, I crashed into something rough causing me to fall to the ground. I looked up to see a man looking at me intensely. Right away I stood off the ground, clinging onto him.

"H-Help me, please! There are wolves trying to kill me! Please help me."

Loud sobs were heard from me as my body was shaking rapidly. I felt him push me off a tiny bit, staring at me.  He closed his eyes for a second before opening them and giving me a look of concern.

"Ma'am calm down, I have just contacted help, please just wait a second."

I shook my head short and swift, hugging the random man tightly without any thought.

"Please, help me."

I heard loud growling behind me, watching the wolves come closer to me. I screamed hiding behind the man, hearing a few feet shuffling behind me, crunching wood chips and leaves under them.

I snapped my head back, smelling something amazing, the smell of pine cones and mint, creating a great combination. I shifted my eyes more towards the left seeing the most amazing looking man ever.

His green eyes were like an abyss I just wanted to get lost in, his nice skin tone, slightly a peach and olive tone. His tall height, making me feel a lot shorter than I already am.

Let me tell you about his body, the way his muscles flexed as he crossed his arms and how his shoulders would stiffen with every breath he would take.

His dark hair looked so soft that I just wanted to run my hands through it, his jawline perfect with a little bit of stubble growing. I hitched in a breath, tears still falling down my now puffy cheeks. I saw him sniff the air harshly, looking around quickly until his eyes landed on me.

His eyes shifted slightly darker, causing my fear to arise more making my grasp tighten on the man. He walked towards me, grabbing my arm and pulling me into his hard chest. He put his hand under my hair, gripping lightly on the nape of my neck, pulling my head up to see his gorgeous eyes. He moved his face closer to mine, causing me to hold my breath, feeling his warm breath touch my lips.

He observed every little detail on my face before shifting his eyes down to my lips and back into my glossy eyes that held pain and fright. The beautiful guy brought his other hand up to my lips, his thumbs separating my top lip from my bottom, wiping off some of the excess blood before whispering in a raspy voice.

"Mine."

I gulped loudly, backing away, hiding behind the random man I did once before. I heard a deep and harsh growl on my left seeing the large wolf in the middle shift into a human. Once he fully shifted I whimpered. It was Xavier. He trotted towards me, gripping onto my wrist, pulling me towards him, I tried pulling my hand back and began yelling at him.

"Let me go! Please don't hurt me!"

I tugged on my hand roughly, causing him to let me go. I stared into his eyes, seeing hurt and anger causing the Godly man to snarl. I ran back to the man who seemed to become my protector. I saw him look at the beautiful man who nodded at him once. The man nodded back, walking away towards the way the two men came from. I reached out to him screaming for him,

"No! NO Don't leave me, please! Don't leave."

I covered my face in my hands, sobbing with pure panic and distress. I felt warm, strong arms pulling me in a tight hug. I heard Xavier roar, infuriated. I felt the chest I was being held in rumble a strong and powerful growl tightening his grip on me.

"Blake, take her to the pack doctor right away, I need to deal with Alpha Xavier."

My head jolted up, looking at the man God had sculpted himself, as he swung his arm under my legs, carrying me bridal style before handing me off to a man who was named Blake. I grasped onto his arm,

"Please don't leave me also," I whispered in a weary voice. He grabbed my hand kissing it softly, nodding at the guy named Blake. I felt myself being carried deeper into the woods disappearing from all of the chaos. I closed my eyes, never feeling them open again.

Luca's POV

"Alpha Luca! There is a teenage girl, sobbing and asking for help. I don't know what to do but she smells human. Please come down if possible. We are by the northern border."

I turned to see Blake gaze at me. He got the message too. What in the world was a human doing on my territory? I grunted a tiny bit before speaking to Blake,

"What in God's name is a human doing on MY territory?"

I saw Blake shrug his shoulders slightly in the corner of my eye. I sighed in irritation,

"Let's go check it out." I walked outside of the Packhouse, jogging towards the northern border. My wolf enjoyed me running, causing me to sprint faster. We soon made it to the north border to see Alpha Xavier's wolf, along with his Beta's and a pack warrior.

I breathed in heavily, smelling the most amazing scent I have ever smelt in my life. The smell of herbal teas and peppermint filled my body, relaxing me in an instant. I turned my head to the left, seeing the most beautiful woman in my life. I saw her grip onto my pack warrior's arm, eyes full of panic.

'Mate! Mate! Luca, it's her!' Jay screeched with happiness.

No, it can't be true. My eyes darkened, letting me know she was here. I can't believe it. I had a mate.

I started to slowly make my way towards her watching her cower away behind my warrior. Once I made it to her, I gripped her arm lightly pulling her against my body, needing to feel her warmth. I put my hand on her neck, wanting to see every little thing about her.

I stared at her skin, wanting to feel her beautiful toffee skin, I put my forehead against hers staring into her eyes, that sucked me into a portal that I never wanted to leave, they were a deep chocolate brown, almost black filled with many emotions.

I wanted to get rid of any hurt and sadness she felt. My eyes slowly moved down to her luscious and plump lips, the top one a tint darker. My hand grazed it, separating both of them, as I wiped the tiny bit of blood that was seeping. I began touching her soft, pitch-black hair, laying it nicely behind her. I whispered,

"Mine."

She scooted back a tiny bit making my heart sting. I heard Xavier growl before grabbing my mate's arm dragging her towards him. I let out a vicious snarl, warning him to let go.

She began yelling out in distress, making me want to go and rip Xavier's head off.

"Let me go! Please don't hurt me!"

I saw her pull her arm back running back to the pack warrior. He stared at me, mind linking me.

"Alpha, shall I go? Or shall I stay with Luna?"

"Go, not a word to anyone yet."

I nodded to him once, accepting his permission. He nodded back. He walked the way Blake and I came from.

"No, NO! Don't leave me, please. Don't leave me."

I ran to her, engulfing her with my arms, comforting her the best I could. She accepted my hug, making me smile slightly, pulling her closer. I heard Xavier roar once more, causing a low growl to come out of my chest.

I turned my attention to Blake, asking him to take my mate to see the pack doctor, I carried her bridal style handing her to Blake so she could be away from Xavier. I continued to stare down Xavier until I felt sparks on my arms. I snapped my head behind me seeing her look at me with desperate eyes.

"Please don't leave me also."

I tried so hard not to go back and stay with her in my arms forever. Instead, I grabbed her hand, placing a light kiss before dealing with Xavier.

"Blake, protect her with your life."

"Yes, Alpha."

They had left my side, leaving me to feel empty and cold. I gave a hard stare to Xavier, my eyes turning completely black.

"Alpha King Xavier. What are you doing in my territory without permission?" I saw his eyes turn completely black also, knowing things were not going to turn out well.

"I'm here to get my Diana."
