-Monday- 

Your POV 

It was the next week of school. Stein and I have been training almost all weekend. Today he had told me that we were getting a new nurse at the DWMA. Medusa was her name. I looked in the mirror of the bathroom and sighed lightly. Today felt weird. 

When we got to school everything was the same as usual, everyone in their spots to socialize like every other day. I walked into class with Stein as we were training a little before the bell rang. 

"Today I want to teach you, Soul Force." 

I looked at Stein. 

"Isn't that your move though? I wouldn't want to impose on your special abilities." 

He chuckled. "It is alright, I am training you, remember?" 

I nodded and sighed. 

"First you want to focus your wavelength into your hands. This way you will be able to channel that power directly into your enemy's soul." 

I nodded and drew in a breath and closed my eyes. My hands began to make small (f/c) sparks. I felt Stein smile slightly. 

"Good. Now hit me with it." 

I snapped my eyes at him. "What?" 

"Hit me with your wavelength. Do not worry you won't hurt me. I'm in sync with your wavelength." 

I nodded and focused my energy again. I ran to him and turned my foot into the ground as my palms met his abdomen and I turned my hands on impact and sparks flew. "Soul Force!" 

He wavered a little but looked at me and stood. "Very, good. That stung a little." 

I chuckled and he smirked. 

"You have learned well." 

"Helps with the best teacher." 

He smiled and nodded. "I want you to fight Maka and Soul during class." 

I looked at him. "Why?" 

"You need to go head to head against someone that isn't familiar with your wavelength. This way it will help you grow and use logic to find your enemies weakness." 

I nodded. "All right." 

-During Class- 

"Today students I want two teams to go head to head. Maka and Soul you will go against, (y/n)." 

We both stood slowly. Maka turned and looked at me with a small smile. "May the best Meister win." 

I gave a nod and we both moved down to the area by Stein's desk. I looked at her and glanced to Stein.  He gave me a small nod and I looked at Maka. 

"Soul!" 

"Right." 

Soul transformed and Maka spun him around. 

I changed my arms and sighed lightly. Here we go. 

"Begin." 

Maka ran at me and I was quick to dodge and kick her into the wall. She slid down and turned to look at me. 

Stein smirked as he leaned on his chair. 

Maka used Stein's desk to jump off of and hid me with the blunt end of Soul's staff. I coughed up a little blood as I hit the wall. I smirked and looked at her before putting my blades away. I let the wavelength go into my hands as I ran at her. Her eyes went wide as I made contact with her body. 

"Soul Force!" 

She wavered and I was shot back. I looked at her and blinked slowly. Stein stood up quickly and Maka let go of Soul. He changed back and they both looked terrified. 

"(Y/n)!" 

Stein made it over first. 

Stein's POV 

I ran to her. She was bruised and scratched. Her hands were scorched too. I looked at Maka who was fine and freaking out a little. 

"Professor, did I kill her?" 

I shook my head and looked at her. 

"No, Maka. She'll be just fine." 

I picked her up as she nodded and Soul put an arm on her shoulder. 

I carried (y/n) to the infirmary where Medusa was. She looked at me with a fake smile. I didn't trust her. 

"Oh my what happened?" 

"Training accident." 

"Go back to your class, Stein. I'll take care of her." 

I looked at her and decided to go. I'll give her a full examination when she wakes up. 

I went back to my class and waited. 

-Later- 

Your POV 

I woke up with bandages on my hands. I looked around for a little bit before sitting up slowly. "You're finally awake." 

I looked and saw Medusa. 

"What happened?" 

"Training accident but you're fine now." 

I nodded. She walked over. 

"Take these twice a day, They'll help you get your wavelength back to normal." 

I nodded and she handed me the baggie of pills.I stood and walked to Stein's class and found him. I walked over to him and put the baggie on his desk. He looked at me and smiled before standing quickly. He brought me to his chest with a hug. 

"I'm glad to see you awake." 

I smiled and hugged back. 

"Yes, but something is odd about Medusa. She gave me a bag of pills for my wavelength and I have never once heard of such a medication." 

He turned to look at the pills. "They don't look familiar to me either." 

"That's what I thought. Something is fishy about her." 

"Indeed, I'll keep these pills. Your wavelength should be back to normal on its own." 

I nodded and he smiled lightly. We began our trek back to the lab and I was starting to feel rather strange. Something wasn't right but I couldn't place it. Almost like I had forgotten something. I went to my room to continue practicing changing into my weapon form. I was unable to change any of my limbs into a blade. I couldn't even see my weapon form in my soul it was too fuzzy. 

I sighed and stood. I walked down to Stein's room and knocked on the door. He opened it without a shirt and I looked at him for a moment.

"Yes? What is it?" 

"I can't change into my weapon form"

He rose a brow. "Oh, that's strange." 

He brought me into his room and looked at me as he turned his screw. 

His eyes began to glow as he read my soul. 

"Your weapon form is fuzzy, almost like your soul wavelength isn't sure about it anymore. A camera out of focus." 

I nodded. 

"How do we fix it?" 

"I can try and access it again myself." 

I nodded and walked over to him. 

He grabbed my hands and sighed for a second. 

I could hear him in my soul as his thoughts moved through his mind. I could hear his thinking process and it calmed me. I knew I was safe with him. I smiled lightly. I turned into my weapon form until a shok wave of pain moved through my body. I screamed loudly and passed out turning back into my human self. 

I fell to the floor  as Stein caught me. He looked at me for a second as he realized what happened. I saw his eyes twitch rapidly before everything went black.
