Your POV 

I walked into class as I hid my emotions from the others. I sat in my usual chair and waited for Stein to show up to teach. What gave him the reason to speak to me like that? He was the one that asked why it was hell for me here. Why did he go off like that? Why did I? I sighed lightly as I calmed down and utterly regretted the way I had spoken to him previously. 

I got out my materials slowly and looked them over making sure everything was correct. I watched the door as it was flung open and Stein walked in. He went to his desk and sighed. 

"Today class, We're having a training session outside!" 

I sweatdropped. What an asshole. 

We all stood as everyone got with their meisters and weapons and I was the last to leave the room. We went to the small forest area next to the school and listened to orders on what Stein wanted us to do. 

"Listen up class. Today you will be fighting me. Let's see who can get the farthest. I'll enjoy dissecting you." 

Maka and Soul went first. They failed. 

Blackstar and Tsubaki. They failed too. 

Kid and the Thompson sisters. 

Then Ox. 

Everyone failed. 

Finally, it was only me and I felt the eyes of my classmates on me. Now they knew I existed. I sighed deeply. 

"What are you standing around for? Scared?" 

I glared at him. I smirked. "Never of you, professor." 

I ran at him and he looked surprised. 

"Why such a head-on attack? Do you not think I could counter that?" 

I slid under his legs and stood before round housing him. He wavered a little and stood straight up before turning as he swung downwards at me. I dodged and jumped onto his shoulders before bending backward and flipping him over and sending his head straight into the brown Earth. I let go and he fell flat. He started to laugh. 

I looked at him as he stood. He rushed me and pinned me to the ground. I growled. "Not bad. You fought physically instead of with your wavelength. Is that because you knew I would absorb your wavelength? Or that you cannot use your wavelength entirely?" 

He was pissing me off. 

"I'm sorry, am I pissing you off?" 

I growled and felt a shock wave leave my soul as Stein's lab coat began to fly behind him. Before I knew what I was doing my odd colored eye began to glow brightly and matching spikes shot from my body. They skewered him and allowed me to kick him off. I stood as my arms and legs had spikes sticking out of them. He stood and looked at me. 

"How did she do that?" 

"What is she?" 

"Is she part weapon?" 

"I thought she was a Meister." 

The class murmured these questions and statements for a moment. Stein looked at me and smirked. "Class is dismissed." 

The class stood and limped away as they were scratched and bruised from Stein's attacks. I calmed down and the spikes went back into my body.

Stein walked over to me as he had red blotches on his lab coat from his blood. He put a hand on my shoulder. "You did very well." 

I yanked my shoulder from him. "What do you mean? You tried to embarrass me in front of the entire class!" 

He sighed and put his hands on my shoulders. 

"I did that so you could unlock your weapon form inside your soul. When you were ranting earlier this morning I noticed a change in your soul. With you being angered your soul began to show different signs. Meaning that you just needed an extra push to realize your true potential." 

"This was a test the entire time? What the hell Stein!?" 

He chuckled. "I was right though. You do need me." 

He began to walk away as he puffed on a cigarette and I looked at the ground as I was the one left dumbfounded. I scoffed a little. "What kind of a pair are we, Stein?"
