Your POV 

Maka and I landed as the Kishin looked at us. Kid and Blackstar looked at me and nodded. "Welcome to the team (y/n)." I nodded and smiled. 

"Thanks for having me." I said. Maka smiles we looked at the Kishin. 

"Soul's gonna play, get ready guys." she said. They began to glow and connect to each other and I looked at them. "This needs all of us (y/n)." Maka said.I nodded as the tails of their souls reached out and connected to mine. 

"Good, can you hear me?" she asked. 

I listened to all of their souls and Soul's playing. "Yes." I said. 

"Then let's save the world." she said as we began fighting the Kishin. We had been repeatedly slammed into wall after wall, none of us refusing to give up.  Maka went to use Genie hunter only to have her collapse. We looked at her for a moment. "You two keep fighting I'll check on them" I said and they nodded. 

I ran over to Maka and Soul. She grabbed Soul. "What happened, are you guys okay?" I asked. She looked at me. "I'm fine its soul, he won't wake up." she said. 

I felt his pulse. "He's still alive. I can't help him you have to." I said she looked at me for a moment and nodded. "We'll buy you time. Just save him." I said. 

She nodded and looked at me. "What about the playing?" she asked. 

"I'll take care of it." I said. She looked at me for a moment and nodded. She put her forehead to his and I looked at Kid and Blackstar. "You guys need to resonate with me. I'm going to play." they looked at me. 

"You play?" Kid asked. I nodded. "Surprise, we can talk about this later, we have a kishin to defeat." I said and he chuckled. 

"How would a meisterless weapon defeat a kishin such as me? Pathetic." he said. 

I smirked. "Don't underestimate the DWMA's students." I said and went behind a rock. I knelt down and resonated with the boys and began playing. I don't play piano like soul does but I do play the electric guitar. Not even Stein knows that. I began playing, (Song above). 

I stood in what was most likely my head as I let all the things from the past few days let loose into the guitar and help the other two fight. I could hear everything they said as long as what they were doing. Blackstar was keeping the kishin busy as Kid was using his death cannon move. Kid got hit and so did Blackstar. They were down. 

I stopped playing and stood up. I looked at the Kishin for a moment. "What's that look on your face? Is that fear?" he asked as he laughed again. 

I watched as kid stood back up as the lines of his hair began to glow and connect. Liz and Patti were talking about the noise and resonance rate. I watched as he blasted a huge shot at the kishin and then fell back down. I ran over to him as the kishin was smaller. I rolled him over for a second to see him still breathing. I sighed and smiled gently. 

"What's with all the students at the DWMA being insane?" I mumbled. He coughed a little. "We aren't insane, it's just bravery," he said and passed back out. I looked at the kishin for a moment. He was definitely smaller this time. But still powerful. I changed my arms to blades and ran at him. He seemed surprised but I was quick to slash at him. I remembered that I had linked with Azusa. I connected with her soul again and I could hear her talking to everyone in the death room. 

Azusa's POV 

I connected to (y/n), I had forgotten we were linked. Spirit stood up for a moment before Marie sat him back down. 

"Kid and Blackstar are down, Maka seems to be busy with Soul. Possibly the black blood." I said. 

"And (y/n)?" I heard. I looked to see Stein. "She's distracting the Kishin, but he is smaller. So whatever they did is working." I said. 

Stein walked over to me. "Can she hear me?" he asked. 

"Most likely yes." I said. He nodded for a moment. 

Your POV 

"Hey, (y/n). You know I'm not one for words but here goes nothing. Don't let the state of the others distract you. You're here for a reason. Maybe you're not supposed to have a meister, maybe you're supposed to be like Justin. He's meisterless sure, but he's also one of the strongest death scythes I know. Most likely the Kishin has been saying that you aren't strong enough to defeat him without a meister, prove him wrong." 

I smiled gently before I giggled. "Remind me when I get out of here, to kick his ass Azusa." I said. She laughed a little. "You can tell him that yourself," she said. I jumped at the Kishin and smirked as I landed on him knocking him over and punching him. 

He kicked me off and I slid on my feet before falling to me knees for a second, breathless. "No way a tiny girl like you should be able to come at me without any hesitation," he said. 

I shrugged. "Who would have seen that coming? But i told you, don't underestimate the students of the DWMA!" I said and slid at him before tripping him and grabbing a rock and hitting him with it. He frowned. "enough." he said before he shot me into a rock and I slid down it. 

"Damnit, that hurt." I said before standing slowly, wiping the blood from my mouth. I watched Maka and Soul stand up for a second and they looked at me. 

"What did we miss?" She asked. I smiled. "A talk with the professor, and me punching the kishin. Glad to see you standing though." I said. 

She spun soul for a second before going after the kishin. She got a few hits in before she couldn't use soul anymore. She looked at me and smiled. "Ready to kick some kishin ass?" she asked. I nodded. 

We looked at him for a moment. "Shujat." we said. He gasped a little. "What does that mean?" he asked. We smirked and walked to him for a moment as he backed away a little. 

"There's something in the world that everyone has." 

"No it isn't madness, not everyone has that." 

"Its a word that's only seven letters, but it has so many meanings." She got a hit in. 

"What is it called?" he asked. 

"bravery," I said before I punched him dead in the face and he exploded. I looked at Maka for a moment. "I knew you could do it." she said. I nodded and sighed. "Let's get these guys out of here." I said. I grabbed the kishin egg and went to Kid. I got him to stand and Liz and Patti helped him walk back to the Death Room. Maka got Soul and I woke up Blackstar. He got up and I went back with them as I was walking behind them all. We were all beat up pretty good. I looked at the area we were fighting in before turning to look at the rest of the people. 

I walked over to Lord Death and handed him the Kishin egg. I turned to look at Stein as he dropped his lab coat. I felt my knees get weak a little as he ran over to me and caught me. "(y/n)!" he said. I blinked and smiled before I touched his face. "I did it." I said. 

"I told you, you could." he smiled.I smiled again before I passed out. 

Stein's POV 

I picked her up gently and looked at the rest of them. "Make your way to the Infirmary." I said. They nodded and made their way there. I looked at (y/n) again. I have too much to say to her, but that'll have to wait until she wakes up again. She's going to need a lot of sleep. She's had a rough day, hell they all have.
