Alone. I was always alone.

No one really cared about me. I was a nobody.

But I was used to it. So used to it that I was kinda taken back when someone approached me.

"Hi! I'm new here. I'm Beth. I'm a little lost and I need help," Beth laughed, "You look like the only nice one in these hallways."

"Well, I wouldn't say I'm the only one, but I'm the minority," I joked, "I'm Bianca."

Beth and I talked for a while, already becoming best friends. We both had similar timetables which was a relief since we both didn't have much friends.

Beth and I sat at the back of the class.

"Hopefully this class ends up being somewhat fun and it'll pass by quickly. I'm way too tired and I'm probably going to end up asleep," I thought to myself.

"Yeah right, as if school's gonna be interesting for me anyway."

"Oh my gosh, Bianca! That dude is staring at you!" Beth whispered excitedly. I snapped out of my thoughts and raised an eyebrow.

"The only "dude" that stares at me is Mr Gont when I yawn in class. Whatever "dude" you're talking about is probably just staring at my answers for this worksheet," I said sarcastically. It would be wrong to copy my answers, they were always wrong anyway.

Beth shook her head, smiling as she pointed behind me. I turned around, making eye contact with "dude".

I caught my breath and quickly turned back around.

"Beth, that's Ray. The most popular guy in school! He can't be staring at me," I said, trying, and failing, to keep calm.

Beth gasped, her eyes widened.

"What now?" I mumbled. I turned around again.

Ray was holding a piece of paper. I squinted to read it.

"Will you be my girlfriend, Bianca Grace?"

I nearly dropped my pen in shock.

"Uhm.. What?"
