{Meanwhile at Finite} (Third person's view)

    A man with coal black hair, sitting on a golden throne, chuckled to himself. "I see that she has settled in, that's better than I expected.....now for the coming war" he spoke cruelly into the empty hall. The man stood up and headed towards the left side of the hall, to a clear glass ball sitting on a pillow on a table. "I have it all planned, I shall use you Tina.....to awaken our long dead father and we shall rule the world together!" he said as he let out a deep harsh laugh.
"I'll make you join us......no matter how long it takes........and you won't resist it.........."

{Back at Demotry} Alice's pov

I've been searching all over the place for Vin. God where could he be? Is he ditching his guard duty? It's getting really late and dark and he's worrying everyone to death. And he's so obsessed with that hooded girl. Honestly, I think he likes her even though I'm not sure. I was walking impatiently from the guest house when I heard a crunch. Like pages turning, really old and crusty pages. I followed the sound and saw Vin and the girl, sitting under a tree. Vin was fast asleep, particularly leaning on her while she's reading a book. Oh that explains quite a lot. Sheesh, how careless of you Vin. Sorry guys, but I had to interrupt your lovely peaceful moment. I walked up to them and yanked a sleepy Vin by his collar. "WHERE THE HECK HAVE YOU BEEN YOU IDOIT!" I screeched at him. "GAH! Alice? Stop screaming! I'm not deaf ya know" he said rubbing his eyes like a kid.

"You ditched your guard duty on purpose.Might I know why?" I asked keeping my voice calm.
"Ummm maybe........."
"Don't you dare 'maybe' me! Tell me why!" I was raging.
"Alright alright, it was an accident ok? I completely forgot"
"You forgot!? You forgot!? The person who takes his job so seriously in this village has forgot!? Yea right, like I'd believe that" I snorted.
"I'm telling the truth! I just forgot! Come on Alice, stop acting so motherly"
I completely lost it there.
"WHAT!? How dare you! I am so not acting motherly!"
"You are!"
"Am not!"
"You are!"
"Am not!!"

Risty's pov

   I sat there watching them fight endlessly. I can't believe their arguing without paying any attention that someone is ataully listening to them. I closed my book loudly on purpose, and just as I expected they turned around to me blinking their eyes in surprise. I stood up and whispered "Night" before I walked off to the guest house again, my leg got better. I closed the door behind me and went inside the bedroom and collapsed on my bed after shutting all the windows. Oh gosh, it has been days since I ataully slept on purpose.  Is this really a good idea? I'll meet that voice again if I did wouldn't I? Well only one way to find out. I closed my eyes and I let sleep take control. But something unexpected happened.

~Dream~ (Third person's view)

Risty opened her eyes and looked around to see that her surroundings were pitch black and dark. This is quite what she expected. She waited for the voice.................the silence was unbearable. Follow........ A voice spoke that seem to make Risty shiver. This was a new voice. Somewhat male and it was raspy and hollow. Is it you again? Follow....The voice repeated. Risty was getting impatient. Follow what? And who are you? Follow the light...It spoke. What light? Risty thought. She looked around, squinting her eyes trying to see the light the voice was talking about. Slowly she could make out a dim sparkle a few meters from her. Risty approached it carefully. The nearer she got the brighter the light seemed to get. Everything was silent except for the sound of her footsteps. She walked until she was now only a few paces away from the shimmering glass ball. Risty waited for the voice to give further instructions but all was quiet.

She stretched out her arm to touch it, but hesitated. What if it is a trick? Where is the voice from before? What will happen if she touches it? These thoughts filled her head. Go on....don't look back...The raspy voice was back. Risty sighed as she gently touched the crystal ball. It glowed warmly for a moment, and turned a flaming red color. Her hands burned but she couldn't let go, it was stuck to her hands like glue. Risty winced in pain as she struggled to shake it off.
A deep harsh laugh boomed across the darkness. "You still don't get it do you?" said the same voice that spoke in her head a few minutes earlier.
"Get what? Wait.......you tricked me!"
"Sure I did, didn't know it'd be this easy." Said the voice chuckling.
"Who are you? Show yourself, whoever you are!"
"Very well.........."
A dark figure emerged from the shadows. It was a man. He had dark coal hair, matching eyes and he had a pleased grin plastered across his face. Risty gasped as she realized who he was. The man in front of her was none other than her................brother. Risty scowled, trying not to show her fear. "Ziyui..........you tricked me once and you can't this time.....you can't hurt me....."she spoke, her voice slightly shaking. The grin on his face stretches.
"Oh? Why can't I?"
"Because..........because........this is just a dream! Once I wake up you'll be gone and it'll like none of this had happened!" The glass ball stuck on her hand was glowing a deeper red every few minutes. Risty tried to shake off the pain and concentrate on the dark figure.
"Your quite very wrong there Tina.....this is very real....want to find out?" he took out a small silver blade from his pocket and took a few steps forward Risty. She was furiously shaking her head, convincing herself that it was just a dream....a nightmare......not real...not reality. "This is just the beginning Tina......the start of everything........and also the end of everything......."he smiled cruelly. "You have two choices to choose....." The ball was a fiery red and it was boiling hot.
"(1) You can join me and we get all the power in the world, our father will live once again, we'll invade every country, every village on earth, you won't get betrayed all over again because we'll never leave you and we shall live a life in peace and power and royalty.
(2) You can go back to that tacky little village, pretending everything is alright, seeing your friends and love ones disappear.............all because of you.........your the danger Tina, everyone would be happy without you....." Everyone will be happy without me........I'm the danger...... His words sunk into Risty's heart like a dagger. She was breathing heavily and shaking, she fell to her knees, her eyes covered with dread and emptiness as if she was in a trance. "You've always stuck out Tina.....you still are. That village wants to use you, and nothing else. Join me Tina...... Finite will never leave you, we people stick together through thick and thin. No one loves you more than us" "If....if I don't belong in Demotry.....or Finite.......and I'm not one of their people.....then.....who am I?" Risty chocked out, tears streaming down her face from the pain from the burning ball and his words. He smiled and crouched down to the same level as her and whispered in her ear.

"Your no one"

Yo fellow readers! Sorry for not updating in a while, a tried my best to make this chapter as sad and painful as possible.....but I don't think I succeeded though. TuT. Anyways, I'm still working on that new story. Now...for a special event.....WELCOME TO THE DARK SIDE RISTY! Heeehehhehehe. Wwhahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahhaha! XD We've got a new member Alice!
