Kat's POV

I woke up as the door to Lily and I's bedroom opened and a bright light lit up the room. I sat up in my bed and looked at Sam in the door way. His eyes were sunk in and he looked like he didn't sleep a wink. I yawned and stretched while giving him a smile. He in return gave me a smile.

"How did you sleep kiddo?" He asked while leaning against the door way. His long blond hair was let down and was wet from what I assume was a shower. 

" I slept just fine thank you," I said getting out of bed. Sam readjusted his glasses on his nose and looked at Lily who was still sleeping.

"It's not safe with her here," Sam said still looking at the small red head. I frowned.

"She helped me so I wasn't beat and punished," I said in protest.

"But why? Out of the kindness of her 'heart' or on Glen's orders?" I scoffed and got  my clothing out for today.

"We need to get her cloths and we need supplies," I said ignoring his previous statement.

"Kat I'm only looking out for you," Sam said coming closer to me. 

"I'm fine thank you," I said going to the bathroom to change. 

I pulled of my night gown and slipped on my skinny jeans and black and white stripe tank top. Finally I put on the high heeled ankle boot Marcus brought me. I walked out of the bathroom and sat on the bed next to the still sleeping Lily. I shook her slightly so i didn't hurt her neck or side. She opened her eyes and looked into mine. I smiled at her.

"Come on we are going shopping," I said getting off the bed and going over to my clothing. I rummaged around and found a nice blue floral dress that would probably fit her. " Here," I tossed it over to her. She winced in pain as she sat up. I helped her into the dress and walked out to the dinning room. I imediantly saw Marcus who flashed me a smile. I smiled back and sat down in a dinning chair with Lily following me.

"Well ladies what's today's plan?" Keith asked coming from nowhere.

"Lily needs cloths so we are going shopping," I stated despite Sam's glare. Marcus stood up.

"Alone?" He said anger and worry laceing his tone. "You are crazy if you think im letting that happen," 

"I think it would be nice," Kuta piped up from the end of the table. We all jumped not even noticing him.

"Yeah we need new clothing too," Keith said. Sam and Marcus sighed in unison. 

"We just escaped an army of demons and you want to leave right away?" Marcus questioned.

"Yes," I stated showing him I'll fight for this. Marcus sighed again.

"Fine but we use cash and stay away from cameras." He said getting is jacket. I smiled and smirked at Sam in victory.

"I'll lag behind," Sam said pushing his glasses up to cover his green eyes. I stood up and walked over to him.

"What is wrong with you?" I asked bluntly. He looked at me in shock. "One minute you are and over protective father and the next you become depressed and sulk," I confronted. Sam smiled and looked down. I watched as a tear rolled down onto the floor. I stood still.

"You are just like your father," He said placing a hand on my cheek. "He would smile when he won an argument, fight me for everything, look me down with the same blue eyes, and confront me boldly," I was taken aback from Samuel's sudden outburst about my father who I never even thought of.  He pulled me in and hugged me. I tensed up but i hugged him back.

"See," I said into his chest, "Now you're emotional, you are worse than a teenage girl," I said teasingly." He laughed.

"I remember someone being the same way." Sam said letting go. Marcus came over and put a hand on my shoulder.

~Small time skip because I'm the author damn it~

We are all now walking the mall strip. Lily running around like a crazy person, Kuta and Keith talking about something, and Marcus and I walking hand in hand. After stopping at ten diffrent stores, we walked into a dress barn. I looked over the fabrics and desings. Marcus sat on a bench, Kuta was messing around with a few dresses and earned a smirk from Keith who leaned against the wall watching the male redhead act funny. Lily and I walked to the dressing rooms with dresses in hand. 

"Thank you so much Kathrina," Lily said through the curtain. 

"no problem," i said pulling on a long sleeved, knee length, blue dress with a black vest. I looked in the mirror and put on a black fedora i found. I laughed at myself and stepped out. Lily was in a nice red sleveless dress that clung to her body. She smiled at me and I smiled back.

"Wow Kathrina," She said.

"Wow Lily," I said. We both laughed and turned to the boys who sat in a sitting area. Marcus had his mouth open, Kuta smiled giving us a thumbs up, and Keith was looking at his nails. We walked into the dressing room again. I slipped into the room and closed the curtian. I looked into the mirror again and saw a figure behind me. Before I could scream, a cold hand covered my mouth and one came around my waist. I froze as the face leaned into view of the mirror.
