Chapter 2 Blood

Third person POV. 

Freya sat at the kitchen counter trying her best to stare at the counter and not Dick Grayson and Zatanna Zatara flirting with each other. She was eating her green apple joyfully before the two of them walked in ‘flirting’ now she felt bitter and depressed or was the biter because of biting down too hard on her lip that she had caused her to bleed? Yes but not normal standards of blood not red blood but black blood even on her planet her blood was different then her race blood color. Her alien form of blood is supposed to bleed a dark or light blue color and she bleeds black. 

Freya felt a pain in her chest as she tried not to look at them two. Jealousy had quickly filled her body and she hated it. She didn't want to hear or see them flirt with each other but what was she supposed to do? She didn't tell them that they are basically her soulmates as she is theirs. One she doesn't know how to tell them since she has been working with them for almost 6 years now and now just telling them. 
Two she can’t turn into her ‘alien’ form and show them, if she was seen in her ‘alien’ form by any bounty hunters, Followers, Dark Crystal creatures, basically anyone who would take her to him. She can't be seen in her real form by anyone. It's too risky this far in to be caught or seen by anyone.  

Her mouth filled with a bitter taste, her blood. She swallowed her blood not being to spit it somewhere, she felt herself going to gage because of the bitter disgusting taste of her black blood but she pushed it away by breathing slowly and semi calmly in and out. 

She had stopped biting her lip but she felt the blood dribble down her lip and down her chin. She quickly whips the blood away from her mouth, her beautiful eyes casted down to the back of her hand and saw her black blood. In a panic of hiding her blood from anyone she quickly pushed up from the stool a bit too fast and too harshly. The stool she was sitting on a few seconds ago was now resting on the ground slightly rolling side to side. The chair made a loud noise when it hit the cement ground causing Dick and Zatanna to look up from each other to Freya who rushed to the skin very fast to wash her hands, lip and chin from her black blood. 

She didn't want anyone to see her blood, her blood is black not red like most others on earth even on her planet her blood was different and she had to hide it from most maids, maidens, cooks, cleaners, noble kings, queen, prince and princess and plenty more. The only Nexusis and other aliens being that would know about her black blood would be Guard Lilley, mama, papa, a maid and then Kain the killer and his many Followers. 

Dick quickly looks away from Zatanna and raises his eyebrow at his teammate confused all he saw was her washing her hands violently and then whipping her lip and chin. Why? What was wrong with her? He thought to himself. 

“Dick? Are you ok?” Zatanna asks him. He looks away from Freya's back towards Zatanna again. “Yeah I'm fine. Are you ok Freya?” he asks Freya. 

Freya jumps in her spot slightly, she turns the water off with red cheeks, she turns her head slightly to the side to Dick and speaks “... Yeah I'm... fine… sorry for being loud” she said in her quiet unsure voice. 

Dick gives a small smile towards her, “It’s fine really” he said. Freya's cheeks went redder than before. Dick quickly saw her cheeks and smirked at her. She didn't see. 

She turns around and steps to the paper towel rack but when she could even get there she bumps into someone and groans. She stumbles back and then stumbles even more because of the stool she had knocked over a few minutes ago, as she stumbles over the stool she ends up tripping and falling on her back and groans out. 

Aqualad rushes over and helps her back up from the ground and picks up the stool. “Thank you” she quickly said to him embarrassed of what had just happened. In the background she could hear Zatanna laugh in a mocking laugh at her. Freya just rolls her eyes at the ground. 

“It's fine,” Aqualad said to him. She winces and stops biting her lip again. She grabs some paper towel and whips her hands off with red cheeks still. Aqualad raises his eyebrow when he sees her red cheeks and gives her a small genital smile towards her. She didn't see it and if she did see she would have blushed even more than she already is. He turns his attention back to Dick and Zatanna. 

"Dick, Zatanna suit up, we have a small recall mission in star city. Wally will meet us there" he said turning back towards Dick and Zatanna. 

That got Freya’s attention fast, she looks towards her leader "What do I do...? Am I called for this recall mission too?" She asks him. She wants to know- no she needs to know so she knows what she could do next. 

If she goes with them, she'll go with them and if not she will go on her own mission, something she would rather do then see Dick and Zatanna together, well she didn't want to be close to her soulmates who still don't know that they are her soulmates.

She couldn't be mad at them and she’s not. She's just very jealous. 

She can’t be found out that she is Princess Freya Ray Adaya of planet Nexusis. If she was found by any bounty hunters, followers and other dark creatures that follow Kain her plans of getting her planet back would fail and they wouldn't be able to ever get it back.
