~Ayumi's P.O.V~

Sakura, Sayomi and I have trained our asses off. The moment has finally arrived for us to show everyone what we're made of. We all decided to train on our own though since Sayomi and Sakura have to fight, I didn't want to help one and not the other. Instead they actually ended up helping me a few times.

I smiled at some of the memories as we all lined up except for Dosu and Sasuke. Huh. Where are they?

"Chunin participates, listen up. Hayate has been killed so I will be the next exam proctor, Genma. Dosu has also been killed so take a look at the new pairings." Genma showed us a paper that said Naruto vs Neji, Gaara vs Sasuke, Kankuro vs Shino, Sayomi vs Sakura, and me vs Koyumi.

"Why am I the last match?!" I question loudly.

"Because that's what was chosen. Now shut up and stand up straight. You're representing Konoha." Genma stated, glaring at me a little.

I glared back mumbling, "Fine."

-Time Skip-

{Quick 'recap': Naruto won against Neji, Shino won because Kankuro forfeited, Sasuke arrived once Sayomi and Sakura went down to the field.}

"Third match: Sayomi Ai vs Sakura Haruno!" Genma shouted as he jumped away.

Sayomi and Sakura smirked at each other, knowing they would give it their all.

"Earth Style: Hidden Chamber!" Sakura shouted.

My eyes widened when I saw an odd chamber-like room surround Sakura. To say the least.. I think everyone was surprised. Sayomi was no exception.

"What.. What is this?!" Sayomi shouted at Sakura as she began to analyze as quickly as possible on to figure out a counter-attack.

Sakura smirked, "Exactly as the name suggests. Its a hidden chamber I've created with the earth to encase you, immobilizing you."

Sakura continued smirking as she began doing more hand signs. Whatever she did, it began making the chamber slowly shrink and pull down to the ground.

Sayomi began panicking and doing a random jutsu, "Water Style: Water Bullet!" All it did was soak the bars.

"Fire Style: Blaze!" Sayomi did another set of hand signs and shouted then punched the bars. Sakura's eyes widen as they break and Sayomi's fist hits her right in the jaw, sending her flying back.

Sakura laid there for second until she quickly got up and engaged in a taijutsu battle with Sayomi. I can't believe they've become equal in power.. It's insane how much Sakura has improved. I'm so happy for her though! I smiled at my two friends. 'No.. They were my sisters..' At that thought, I frowned. I'm leaving them. All of them without so much as a goodbye.. At least Lord Hokage knows and has documents of mine and Sasuke's leave.

I take my mind off of the leaving by watching Sayomi and Sakura's match. It looks like they're trying to just beat each other by simple taijutsu.

"Man, how long is this gonna go on?" Naruto mumbled.

After Naruto spoke, Sayomi and Sakura let out a yell. They were throwing their last punch, packed full of chakra.

Everyone winced at the impact of the punch, closing their eyes only to open them again to see the two kunoichi's laying in front of a huge indent in the stadium walls. Both unconscious.

"A draw..? Wow.. Who woulda guessed Sakura could've even made it that far." I heard Shikamaru mumble to himself. I chuckled, slightly agreeing with him. I guess I'd completely agree with him if I had been around to grow up with them, witnessing Sakura's 'love' grow for Sasuke into unreasonable craziness.

"This match is a draw! Neither Sayomi Ai nor Sakura Haruno win!" Genma shouts as the medics come to take them to the hospital to check them.

"Match four: Ayumi Yasha vs Koyumi Nakumura!" Genma states, jumping away as Koyumi and I jump down to the middle.

I take a deep breath, assessing her. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see much of her abilities really.

"Ayumi, you realize you're going to be beaten right?" Koyumi threw a smirk my way, trying to taunt me.

I rolled my eyes, "Sure. Let's just get this started and we'll see."

In the blink of an eye I'm thrown back into the stadium wall. Koyumi had punched me straight in the jaw in the the blink of an eye.

In another second I'm picked up by my throat and thrown in the ground.

"How.. Are you so fast?!" I managed to mutter out.

Koyumi smirked, "It's a secret hun." The next thing I knew I was picked up again and punched into another wall.

Coughing out blood, I slowly stood up. "I never thought that you'd be so quick. In the preliminaries, it looked like you were best at genjutsu. People who are great at genjutsu tend to not be the best at ninjutsu or taijutsu.."

"Hm, well I'm just special I guess." Koyumi stated as she practically flashed in front of me and punched me in the stomach, causing me to cough up more blood.

"Ayumi!" I heard many people shout my name as well as angry curse words towards Koyumi. It's funny but I'm not even mad at her for doing this.. She's doing what she was trained for, but I am not going to let her win.

I close my eyes, falling to my knees. I can't let her win but.. I can't think. I can't analyze what my counter-attack should be.

"Ya know.. I did my own digging before this match. Ayumi Yasha.. Sister to Ryuichi Kurama. Why different last names I wonder. Why couldn't I find anything about your parents? Other than the fact that he killed them.

Yet after going crazy a few times, trying to find him to kill him.. You stopped. You moved on with your life. Until one of your missions took you to Ryuugakure. Huh? You tried to reason with him.. You tried to get your brother back but he proved you wrong didn't he? Leaving you left for dead." Koyumi's words cut my heart with the venom that laced her voice.

"How the hell do you know so much about me?!" I cried at her, tears slowly beginning to fall as I continued to sit on my knees in pain.

"Like I said, I did my research." Koyumi stated as if it were obvious. Some of the things she knew though, should have been confidential.

Koyumi leaned down next to me and whispered in my ear, "You're brother never loved you, ya know? Your parents probably begged for him to kill them."

Something inside me snapped and my hand shot for her throat, attempting choking the life out of her. "I will kill you." Koyumi's eyes widened as she desperately clawed at my hands and face until she managed to get enough power to knee me in the stomach and I jumped back, kneeling on one knee.

Koyumi scrambled to get up, coughing like crazy trying to get her breath back. "You're still crazy aren't you?!"

I bit my lip as closed my eyes tightly. 'There's something wrong with me.. Why do I feel like this?!'

I stopped biting my lip, having to cry out because my teeth began to grow sharper and my nails grew sharper. So many thoughts ran through my head until I head a female voice in my head, "Calm down child. It's just me."

My eyes widen in realization before I slowly close them, smirking. 'Kyoko.. My wonderful dragon companion has decided to show herself again. I have some questions later. Like why I couldn't remember you and why you haven't showed yourself until now!' I shout in my head at her. As a result, she simply yelled at me and I let her take over just enough to give me a good boost.

"You're a monster! What kind of demon are you?!" Koyumi shouted in fear at me.

My eyes open to slits as I glare at her before practically transporting in front of her and grabbing her throat again. "Why.. Can't you tell? I'm a dragon demon." I whisper in her ear before releasing my grip on her neck and kicking her in the stomach which sent her into a stadium wall this time.

Koyumi slowly stood up and wiped the blood off her chin, glaring at me. I glared right back.

Smirking, I walk towards her. "You don't feel so superior now, do you Koyumi?"

She let out a growl at me, backing into the wall. "Stay away from me!"

I pin her to the wall, gripping her neck once again. "Forfeit and I won't kill you." I bare my teeth at her, clenching my fist.

I saw emotions flicker through her eyes. Confusion, anger, worry, fear, and most of all defeat.

Koyumi closed her eyes, "I... I, Koyumi Nakumura forfeit from this match."

I unclench my fist and let her go but still stop her from falling. "I'm sorry Koyumi.. I don't know what happened. I just snapped. I hope we can have a rematch one day, just taijutsu." She looked up at me as my features returned to normal before looking back down and moving away from me a little.

"I.. I understand. I pushed you to your limit and this was the result of my actions. Don't apologize for doing what a shinobi should. A rematch one day would be great.." Koyumi gave me a small, tired smile. I gave her one back with a nod as we shook hands and went back to the top.

"Ayumi! What was that all about?!" Naruto shouted at me as soon as I got back to the top. Everyone else up there looked at me as well.

I got an irk vein as I punched him, "Naruto, shut up and don't worry about it! I'll tell you when I'm ready!"

I looked at Sasuke, "Are you ready for this match Sasuke? I mean really ready? Cause you didn't see what he did to Lee.." I whispered the last part as concern washed over my eyes.

Sasuke simply smirked, "Of course I'm ready." I rolled my eyes at his arrogance but let it go.

~Slightly Big Time Skip Again!~

Okay so as a small 'recap' for you, the whole thing with the Suna and Oto ninjas play out. Everything happens as it's supposed to because Ayumi stays to help them in the village instead of going after Sasuke with the Naruto and the rest.

The next thing {I think} was the whole Itachi thing. Well, that stayed the same because Ayumi never left Sayomi and Miyu's side. Sakura didn't have to stay in the hospital because she healed pretty quickly.

The next thing was Naruto and Jiraiya bringing Tsunade back. I'll be picking it up shortly after she heals Sasuke and Lee and is sitting at her desk in the Hokage's tower.

I take a deep breath and knock on the door.

"Come in." I hear faintly behind the door.

I open the door, slowly revealing myself. "Ah, Ayumi Yasha correct?" I nod my head slightly intimidated. This is one of the most powerful women in the world.. She was one of my idols ever since I was little.. I wanted to stay and train under her so badly but... I have to save Sasuke. Maybe Sayomi can learn from her. Maybe Sakura too.. It never hurts for any shinobi to know basic healing.

"Um.. Tsunade-sama.. Have you looked at my file recently?" I bite my lip after asking.

Tsunade closes her eyes and nods, "Are you sure about this though Miss Yasha? This is a huge.. 'mission' that you're taking on.."

I close my eyes and nod, "I'm aware Tsunade-sama. I have to do it though. Sasuke.. Is going down a horrible path and if I can prevent it, I'll do anything I can. So please.. Just keep this a secret from everyone else.. They need to think we betrayed Konoha. They can't come after us otherwise Sasuke truly will leave for good." I opened my eyes after I finished.

Tsunade stared at me for a moment before sighing."Okay.. Konoha thanks you for your sacrifice. As do I personally."

I smiled a little and bow, "Thank you.. Tsunade-sama. I'd give my life up for Konoha and it's people."

Tsunade gives me a small smile and nod, "When will you be leaving?"

I bite my lip, "Tomorrow night at the latest.. Probably tonight though." Tsunade nods her head again.

"Goodbye Lady Hokage." I bow again before exiting.

"Goodbye Ayumi.." I heard Tsunade answer back before I closed the door behind me.

It was already evening.. about six pm or so. I sighed as I continued to walk around for a few more hours before going to pack my stuff.

By the time I get home, it's already nearly nine. Sayomi's probably still resting from the Chunin Exams and the training she snuck in when she wasn't supposed to.

As I pack, I grab a few photos that I couldn't help but taking. One was of Sayomi and I on team 7, another of us on our own team with Miyu, and the final one was a picture of when Sayomi and I were about four years old. Everyone was in it. Sayomi and her parents, my parents, Ryuichi and I.. All together..

I fight back the tears as I quickly finish packing and run to Kiba's.

Once I got there, I snuck into his room. I looked around and saw Akamaru looking at me with a sad puppy look. I looked past him, "I'm sorry Akamaru.. This is important though.." I whisper to him as I got close to Kiba.

Hehe.. Fast asleep.. Of course. I smile sadly and kiss his cheek. Once I do so I quickly get out and run to Sasuke's. If I had stayed any longer.. I would have started crying and I wouldn't be able to leave but, I HAVE to leave..

I jump up to Sasuke's window and peer in. Looks like he's about to finish packing. I jump down and wait for him at the door. Once he opens his door, his eyes widen at the sight of me for a second until he remembered that we were leaving together.

As we got a little past the gates, Sakura stopped us. Her and Sasuke had an odd moment since I hid myself before she could see me. I didn't want her to instantly put Sasuke and I together. Once Sasuke knocked her out and put her on the bench though, we continued until we met with the five Oto ninjas.

"I'm declining Orochimaru's offer." Sasuke stated firmly as I stood silent next to him.

Jirobo was about to make a comment until Sakon interrupted him, "You'll come back.. They always do.." They all nodded in agreement before vanishing.

I rolled my eyes, "Idiots." I mumbled. Sasuke smirked at me as we continued our journey, leaving Konoha...
