-The Next Day; Ayumi's P.O.V-

We're currently all sitting in the dining room to find out more details as to why we were sent here.

"Good morning leaf shinobi!" The King and Queen greet us.

We smiled and said our good morning's as well.!

"Alright, down to business." The King started. We all sat attentively. Personally I was nervous and excited about it. I was hoping there might be an attack because I really want some action ya know? But I don't want anyone to get hurt.. Well, we'll see what the problem is.

"As you may have assumed, our poor village has been attacked. We would like your help to eliminate them. If it is possible, we'd like you to find out why exactly they're attacking We can only assume that they are after my children and/or our sacred scroll." The King finishes.

"If you don't mind me asking, where are your children? And do you have any idea why they would them and/or that scroll?" I ask as politely as possible.

"I have kept my children in their rooms with guards all around their rooms. As for why they would want my children, simply because they are royalty. The attackers could simply want to kidnap any of my children to either get money or.. or that scroll. The reason for wanting the scroll is because, well in full honestly I'm not quite sure. No one knows really, because it won't open. I've heard legends of it being opened in the past. Mostly devastating results. Although, I have heard a story of a someone having opened it once, and they had acquired dragon and wolf like abilities. They had saved this very village before. Unfortunately the only thing anyone knows about the savior is that he had black hair and had a male companion who also had black hair. So now you know as much as we do. That's why we, the royal family shall continue guarding it. We have been fore over 100 years now. The only time we didn't have it was when those young men saved our village. Someone had managed to steal it and the two men returned it." the King finishes explaining.

I nod in understanding. "But your majesty, I thought you said no one saw the two men? If you also don't mind me asking, how long ago did this take place?" I ask, getting very curious.

"No one has. Just because they had returned it doesn't mean that their looks were seen miss. I can understand your confusion though. As for when, it was about 7 years ago." King Tatsuo answers.

I give a quick nod, trying not think about it. If I do, I'll get lost in my thoughts and they'll ask questions. Can't have that, now can we?

Kakashi spoke up a little. "We'll do our best your majesty."

We decided we should go ahead and eat then the king said we'd meet his children and we'd be the one's protecting them. Not the whole time though, mind you. Otherwise we wouldn't be able to do ur actual jobs.

-Skip to meeting king and queen's children-

The King is finally having his children come down. We wait until finally they start coming down the stairs.

We look up at them, studying them. There are five children total. Three boys and two girls. Previously we had been told to try to keep them together.

The two girls came forward first. The looked like twins. The first girl stepped one more step and spoke. "Hello. My name is Azumi Ryuu, eldest child." Azumi had light brown hair and violet eyes.

"Hello! My name's Amaya Ryuu! I'm the second eldest child!" Amaya exclaimed. She had darker brown hair and violet eyes like Azumi but, Amaya's were a little darker.

The girls stepped back slightly as the boys stepped forwards, with one boy taking one extra step like his oldest sister had.

"Hello. My name's Tadashi Ryuu. I am the third eldest child but, first eldest of my brothers." Tadashi stated simply. He had darkish blonde hair, almost a dirty blonde but still a little darker. His eyes were an emerald green.

The second boy took a step forward and said "Hello! My name is Kiyoshi Ryuu! Fourth eldest child!" Kiyoshi seemed quite happy. He had a nice smile on his face. His hair was a 'normal' shade of brown, his eyes being a dark blue.

And finally, the last brother stepped forward. "Hello, my name's Takumi Ryuu." Takumi had light blonde hair and lighter blue eyes than Kiyoshi but, Takumi's had specks of light purple.

After Takumi had introduced himself, they all bowed and thanked us for coming to help them and their family. We bowed as well and replied that it was our duty.

"Kakashi-sensei? Would it be alright if Sayomi and I investigate the premises around the outside of the house?" I ask, in high hopes. The encounter with the mystery guy has really been bothering me. I need to tell Sayomi at least. That way if anything does happen to me, at the very least, Sayomi'll know. Even if it's only an idea of what could've happened.

"*sighs* That's good idea Ayumi. Go ahead. Just be back soon." Kakashi answered. I smiled and quickly bowed to the princes' and princess'.

"Sayomi and I will return in a little bit, your highness'." I say before dragging Sayomi with me, outside.

-Away From the Group-

"Why did you volunteer us to check for issues?" Sayomi asks as soon as we were outside.

"Because something happened when I was on watch last night. A guy came out of nowhere and told me to stop the mission and go back to the village. The scary thing is... He had a dragon tatoo. It coiled around a moon and star. He also... He also looked like... Ryuichi. His eyes were that piercing blue..." I trail off, staring at the ground as we continue walking.

"I don't know what to say Ayumi..." Sayomi glances over at me.

"We have to be very careful though. I do know that much." Sayomi spoke again.

I looked up and nodded. 'Bring it on Ryuichi. You won't hurt my friends because I'm ready.'

-Medium Time Skip-

There had been no threats since we got here. We've been here for four days now. We also haven't seen anything suspicious except for that scroll that the royal family is guarding.

All of a sudden, there was a loud explosion.

"Quickly! Get my children to safety!" The King yelled. The servants rushed to get the princes' and princess' to safety.

"But Father! Let us stay! We want to help and be there for you and Mother as well as the kingdom!" Azumi, the eldest child shouted over the commotion. I also had learned that the girls were, in fact, twins while the boys were triplets. The girls were also only a year older than the boys.

"Please father! We... We know enough to protect ourselves! I'm sorry for telling you and mother now, like this but, over the last year or so, we have all been secretly training in the ways of the shinobi!" Azumi yelled over the commotion once again, pushing for her and her siblings to stay and fight alongside us.

Her father gave in. "Very well my daughter..." He wasn't happy but, he knew there was no fighting his daughter at the moment.

Azumi smiled and ran to her siblings, then they all ran off.

"Ayumi! Sayomi! You stay here to help protect the inner castle! Naruto, you go north! Sasuke, you go east! Sakura, south! I'll be west!" Kakashi barked orders quickly.

We all nodded and the rest went off to where they needed to be while Sayomi and I stayed where we were.

"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Sayomi and I yelled simultaneously.

"Okay, go look for that mystery man. He's gotta be the one behind this. Or at the very least, part of it." I tell our clones. They nod and take off.

"Alright Sayomi... Let's find that scroll." I state, looking at her. She nods and we take off, searching random rooms in the castle.

"Damn it! Where is the fucker?!" I hear Sayomi yell from a couple rooms down. I chuckle slightly and head to the room where she is.

"Still no luck?" I ask, leaning on the door frame. She shakes her head no, frustrated.

"Miss Yasha! Miss Ai! Are you looking for this?" We turn to see the youngest brother, Takumi. He was smiling and holding the scroll out for me to take. We look slightly behind him and see his siblings, smiling as well.

Sayomi and I smile back.

"Are you sure though?" I ask, wanting to be 100% sure. They all nodded. There seemed to be a bit of determination around them.

Azumi speaks up before I take the scroll. "We've known that no one in our family will ever be able to open it. It became clear when we saw you but now, now we have absolutely no doubt. You bear the mark of Ryuugakure and it's scroll. So it is definitely okay." Azumi finishes her little speech with a smile.

I smile back and then give her a questioning stare. "Wait, what do you mean? How do you know I bear the mark of Ryuugakure?" I question.

She gives me a confused stare as well and brushes her finger along my arm, going up to my cheek. "You have the dragon. It coils around your arm to your cheek, coiling around a crescent moon and star. That is the mark." Azumi explains.

I stare wide-eyed at my arm, then touch my cheek. I look at Sayomi to see her staring at me wide eyed.

"Please Miss Yasha. Open the scroll. You need to!" Amaya exclaimed, nearly pleading with stress apparent in her voice.

A loud explosion goes off in part of the castle. Our heads snap in the direction in came from, wide eyed.

The royal children turn their heads back to Sayomi and I. We turn ours back to them. 'Please. hurry Ayumi." Tadashi, the eldest brother pleaded.

I nodded. Determination firing up inside me. As I grab the scroll Princess Amaya and the others smile. I smile back quickly open the scroll.

As soon as I opened the scroll, a bright light blinded us. I tried to open my eyes but had to close them right away. I barely saw that the light was shooting straight up to the sky. It was probably blinding others as well.

"Sayomi!" I exclaimed, worry and fear lacing my voice.

"It'll be okay Ayumi!" Sayomi tried to reassuring me but, I could hear all the same emotions in her voice that was in mine.

I nodded, more to myself. I kept my eyes closed, allowing the scroll to do what it needs to.

I opened my eyes when I felt a strong energy. Not chakra but, energy. I look down, seeing a red glow. A blood red dragon begin coming out of the scroll fairly quickly. My eyes widen at the sight. The dragon's head turned towards me. I gasp, inaudibly. The same mark on me, began appearing on the dragon.

"What is your name, child?" the dragon asked in a low, dangerous tone.

"My name... is Ayumi Yasha." I state, my face showing nothing but determination.

"Ah. Sister of Ryuichi Kurami correct?" the dragon questions, staring at me as if trying to intimidate me. I refuse to back down.

"Yes. that's correct." I answer curtly.

"Hmph. You look very much like him you know? You hear a nearly identical mark as him. Your star and moon are opposite to his." The dragon said, seeming to be ignoring the fact the there was probably a reason as to why her scroll was opened.

"Look. I'd love to chat but, I need your help!" I exclaim, stressing the fact the I needed help.

"Child! Do you know who I am?!" she bellowed.

"No! You never told me!" I exclaim again.

"I am Kyoko. Since you have opened my scroll, I shall be one of your summonings." She answered.

"Wait, what do you mean ONE of my summonings?!" I yelled Kyoko for being terrible at explaining.

"You aren't the brightest one." was the dragon's simple response.

I got an anime vein while everyone else sweat dropped. "Shut up! Look, we don't have time for talking anymore anyways! We need to hurry and help the others!" I exclaimed, tired of just standing there.

To my surprise she simply nodded and floated in front of me. "All of you, get on. My brother will be summoned very shortly. Let's go!" We all quickly scrambled to get on Kyoko's back. As soon as we all sat down, settled, she took off to where the majority of the fighting was taking place.

When Kyoko dropped to the ground, we jumped off her back, only to have to cover our ears with our hands because a super loud roar ripped through the air.

"What was that?!" I ask to no one in particular.

Kyoko sighs and answers "My- Sorry, our brothers."

I stare at her blankly. "What?"

"You heard me! Now you, Ayumi. Get back on. We need to meet up with them!" Kyoko snapped.

"Hell no! Do you even know what he did?!" I snap back, tears forming in my eyes.

"Yes I do. You, however, don't." She replies calmly. I stare at her incredulously but, slowly get back on none-the-less.

"Ayumi, are you gonna be okay?" Sayomi questions, looking me in the eyes. I stare back and simply nod, not being able to trust my voice. She nods back.

Kyoko and I take off.

We landed in a forest very close to the castle. "What are we doing here?" I ask. As soon as the question leaves my lips, Ryuichi and a dragon come out from some of the brush.

"Ayumi." Ryuichi nods towards me. All I can do is stare.

'I'm so confused... I don't feel scared... Just, nervous. I don't even feel angry! Only hurt and betrayed. I... I feel no... No feelings of revenge either. Why... Why do I feel like Ryuichi and I can go back to how we were before... How can I think such things! He... He killed mother and father! Wha...' My head begins pounding. I grip my head and close my eyes.

"No..." I mumble before dropping to my knees, squeezing my eyes tightly.
