My name is Abigail Jones i am 15 years old and i live in sheffield, england. I lost my whole family to the virus in 2008 and my world became a mess. The government was too busy focusing on trying to erase and cure the virus because of the large amount of people sercuming to it. so orphans often had to fend for themselves, luckily i met aiden after living on the streets for 2 years. His family took me in which consisted of his granpa, grandma and dad. Like me he had also lost his mum and sister to the virus. I helped aiden and his family survive by catching food, telling which people were infected and finding safe abandoned houses. We lived like this for 4 years until the government announced how they were going to rebuild the citys population. At the end of every month everyone who had turned 16 would be placed into a group were each would choose a partner to start their life with. If you were not chosen you would be placed into the next months selection until you chose someone. This system was announced when i was 13 and has worked ever since.However once you are chosen you go to live in another part of the city were you can work and live whith  the other chosen. Now my 16th birthday is in a months time and i know exactly who im going to choose.
