Chapter 51: The Legend Of Necrozma
"Excradrill, Drill Run!" a girl exclaimed confidently.
Another girl smirked while calling out, "Have a Razor Shell and Sacred Sword ready." A Dewott flashily touched the scallops on his waist. The one on his right hand glowed yellow and produced a blue curved blade of energy while the other was glowing orange and producing a yellow sharp blade. A similar smirk crossed Dewott's face as he saw a drilling Excradrill coming straight for him.
"And now to put the finishing touches on this awesome combo! Aqua Jet!" his trainer shouted excitedly. Dewott held his arms out as his body became surrounded in water. He then shot off towards Excradrill at a very fast speed with his blades resembling glowing airplane wings. His trainer became dazed at the majestic sight.
She quickly shook it off and bellowed out, "Dig to dodge!"
"Oh no you don't! Dewott, follow him!" the other girl retaliated. Excradrill's trainer's eyes widened in horror while something shook in her hair. He aimed himself at the ground and drilled underground. However, Dewott followed Excradrill inside the hole. A few moments of silence ensued before a loud boom was heard. Dewott shot Excradrill out of the ground and instantly slashed him in the chest with both blades. The Subterrene Pokemon crash-landed hard with swirls in his eyes.
"EXCRADRILL!" his trainer cried worriedly as she ran over to him. When she got close, she knelt down and helped Excradrill sit up. The other girl walked up to them, holding two Sitrus Berries in her hands.
"Here you go, love." she stated kindly while offering one to the girl. She couldn't help but blush a little bit upon being called "love".
"T-T-Thanks. I'm still getting used to being called that." the girl stammered, feeling heated as she grabbed the Sitrus Berry. The Pokemon in her hair, the other girl, and Dewott chuckled lightly while she tossed hers over to her injured partner. He caught it, and he and Excradrill began nibbling on them. Soon, they were all better, and the Subterrene Pokemon was able to stand up and shake hands with his opponent.
"Dang, now that's what I'd expect from Unova's first ever Top Coordinator! You are absolutely perfect in Contests! Among other things." Excradrill's trainer exclaimed gleefully, mumbling the last sentence to herself. A pink twinge formed on the other girl's cheeks.
"Eh, thanks. But it wasn't just me. Dewott did all the work." she admitted bashfully while rubbing the back of her head. Dewott glanced at his trainer knowingly while the others giggled.
"Oh, hush. He wouldn't have figured that combo out without such an amazing Coordinator as you. Even he knows that, don't you, Dewott?" the girl asked teasingly. Dewott turned his head to her and nodded pridefully. The Coordinator's face became more redder upon hearing that.
"Enough about me, though. You're well on your way to becoming a Dragon Master! That Dragonite is definitely a powerhouse. Not to mention he's helping your other dragons evolve. And that Pokemon in your hair is close to evolving for the first time too." she replied eagerly. As if he heard her, a Deino poked his head out of his trainer's hair and roared in agreement. This time, it was the other girl whose face turned red.
"It's hard to raise dragons, you know? That's kind of the reason why the training is taking a long time. Not that I'm complaining. I believe once everyone becomes a fully-fledged dragon, we're aiming for Alder and that Champion title next!" she proclaimed with confidence oozing out of her voice. The Coordinator and their Pokemon laughed lightly.
"You got the spirit and patience to pull this off! I'm fully behind you 100% of the time!" she responded, being supportive. The Dragon Master in training couldn't help but smile. She was about to thank her friend when a multicolored glow from not too far away caught everyone's attention.
"Eh, what was that?" the Coordinator asked curiously.
The other girl shrugged while replying, "I don't know. We should go check it out."
Little did she know, an old friend of hers had just popped up from Pallet Town. Ash and Pikachu were feeling nostalgic at the sight of the village in front of them.
"The Village of Dragons. This sure brings back memories, huh, pal?" he mumbled to his partner. Pikachu had to nod in agreement. Latias, Kevin, Maria, Gary, and Hau looked quite stern. And Delia, Mimey, Yellow, Brendan, Cindy, Snow, and Spark had their eyes wide open and their jaws hanging ajar upon seeing Mew turn invisible.
"Um, I'm going to color myself incompetent for not sensing Mew's strong aura. But seriously, Ash, bro, how are you able to get her to teleport us to wherever you want to go?! I bet somebody would be jealous! Not that I am." Cindy exclaimed, totally astonished. Ash, Kevin, their Pikachus, Latias, and Gary chuckled. Even Mew could be heard giggling.
"Now that's a long story we don't have time for at the moment. Anyway, Yellow, lead the way. And Cindy, Brendan, we'll have our double battle after our business here is done." Kevin replied with a sharp and demanding finishing tone like that of a drill sergeant. Cindy gulped while Brendan gave him a glare. Yellow decided to cut in.
"Actually, for once, Kevin is right. We need to move. If Team Rocket is planning what I think they are with Necrozma, Leaf could be in grave danger here." she stated in a serious and frightened manner. Ash, Pikachu, Latias, Delia, Mimey, Cindy, Snow, Spark, Gary, Hau, Maria, and especially Kevin shuddered at the sound of that while Kong, Predator, Champ, Kitana, and Casper's Pokeballs shook rapidly. Brendan backed off for the time being upon realizing just how dire the situation was. Yellow led the way into the small village with Kevin and Maria directly behind her. Ash, Pikachu, Latias, Delia, Mimey, Brendan, Cindy, Snow, and Spark followed close by while Gary and Hau were lagging a little bit.
"Hey Hau. Calem mentioned that you and Jason have dealt with Necrozma before. Yet, you seem a little nervous. Is there something you're not telling us?" he asked curiously. Hau seemed to tense up.
"Yeah, it's just...to create an opening for Jason to push Necrozma back into the Reverse World, I kind of had to...draw his fire..." he admitted mareepishly. Gary gawked at the half Titan upon hearing that.
"Well then, what happened?" he inquired despite almost not wanting to hear the answer.
"Apparently, I was backhanded so hard I ended up one foot into the side of a mountain and got knocked out. I don't remember." Hau stated grimly. Gary opened his mouth in disbelief and was going to speak when a sudden scream cut him off. They turned towards the Village and saw a girl making a Combee-line straight to Ash and pulling him into a tight hug. She had tan skin, knee-length, puffy purple long hair in a loose huge ponytail and with two pigtails, and brown eyes and wore a cream-colored top with a pink collar and cuffs, a pink skirt with a big ribbon, white leggings which were colored yellow at the ends of the legs, and pink and white shoes with yellow straps.
"I-I-Iris, c-c-can't b-b-breathe..." Ash stuttered out for the second time in minutes. Cindy had to resist snickering.
"Hey, little kid, how are you?! Why didn't you tell me you were coming?!" Iris inquired with a smirk. Ash instantly let out an annoyed groan while everyone else except for Hau laughed at his expense.
"Iris, I don't think he appreciates that. And I think he'd like a bit of space." another girl stated sternly. Iris chuckled nervously as she separated from Ash. Everyone then turned to the other girl. She had pale peach skin, very long brown hair tied in two large sock buns above her ears with two long locks hanging loose to her waist and shorter locks on either side of her face, and dark blue eyes and was wearing a pink and white visor on her head, a salmon pink tank top tied with a bow around her neck like a bikini top under a white quarter length slim fit top with ice blue sleeves and a fully salmon pink semi-Pokeball printed on the chest area, frilly flared mustard yellow shorts over black lycra leggings, salmon pink socks, and ice blue and white hi-top shoes with mustard yellow laces. The girl also carried a large salmon pink and white handbag with a black strap over her shoulder. Ash, Pikachu, Latias, Kevin, Maria, Gary, Cindy, Snow, and Spark struggled to pinpoint exactly where they had seen her before.
"Come on, Rosa, I was just messing with him! It's been forever! Oh! By the way, Rosa, this is my old friend and traveling companion I've been telling you about, Ash. Ash, this is my girlfriend, Rosa." Iris stated with a huge smile as she placed her hand inside Rosa's. The group took a moment to process that before Ash, Kevin, Cindy, and their Pokemon gasped in recognition.
"Hold up. Iris, you're a lesbian..." Ash started, totally shocked.
"AND you're dating Unova's first ever Top Coordinator?!" Cindy finished. Iris looked a little nervous while Rosa glanced towards the brunette curiously.
"Yep, that's right. Say, you don't happen to be one of the best Coordinators that Kanto has to offer, Cindy Ketchum, do you?" the Coordinator inquired curiously. The Ketchum surname caught Iris's attention while a confident smirk formed on Cindy, Snow, and Spark's faces.
She flashed a victory pose while proclaiming boldly, "Yep, that's me! Kanto's next Top Coordinator!"
"Vee-vee!" Snow shouted, standing tall.
"Pika!" Spark added, holding a fist up. Iris actually snickered in spite of the uncertainty.
"Say, I think we found a female Ash here. Hey Ash, is this little kid your sister?" she asked teasingly. Soon, the roles were reversed as everybody except for Hau laughed at a red-faced Cindy.
"She got you there, Cinnamon." Gary wheezed out, still sniggering. Cindy shot a glare towards him.
"Shut up, Oak Tree. Or, as I always call you, Acorn Head." she replied, very annoyed now. Gary instantly stopped laughing and groaned at the sound of yet another Ketchum calling him Oak Tree and Cindy's signature nickname for him. Almost the entire group cracked up even harder. A triumphant smirk crossed Cindy's face as she then shifted her focus to Iris.
"Real funny. Who knew Rosa would be dating such a little kid?" she retorted sassily while crossing her arms. Snow, Spark, Brendan, Ash, Pikachu, and Latias were so close to falling over from laughter as Iris's face turned red this time. Even Rosa was snickering a bit.
"Well, she's not wrong. You do tend to be a little kid sometimes. Not that I mind." she stated teasingly. Now Iris's face became even redder than before.
"HEY!" she shouted, clearly embarrassed.
Cindy sniggered before pointing a thumb at Kevin and saying, "No, I'm Ash's cousin. Though, this guy next to me, Kevin, is more of an Ash clone than I could ever be. After all, they are twins, so it's only natural. And they do both have a tendency to get really angry when their precious girlfriends are in danger too." Iris's eyes popped wide open while the blushing brothers shot a glare towards their smirking cousin.
"What? You both know it's true." Cindy added, looking innocent. Ash and Kevin both had half a mind to pounce on her right then and there.
"Hold on. The dense little kid...is in love?!" Iris asked incredulously. Ash glared at her with murderous intent, which made her gulp.
"You're damn right I'm in love, Iris! In fact, if it wasn't for that Lusabitch, we'd probably be dating long before our journey in Unova even began. Also, we are here now because of Lusabitch and her crew. I honestly just want to strangle her right now!" he responded nastily. Needless to say, Iris, Rosa, Cindy, Snow, Spark, and Brendan were mortified by Ash's choice of words. Though, Delia, Mimey, and Yellow seemed to be as furious as the rest of the boys, the Pikachus, and Latias.
"Lusabitch, eh? Lillie and Gladion would get a kick out of that." Gary concurred with a dark chuckle. Cindy quirked an eye.
"Who's Gladion?" she whispered to Gary, genuinely curious.
"Lillie's big brother. They were the children of Lusabitch before she disowned them." he answered furiously. Cindy didn't know why, but she was seething in fury too, which caused Brendan to glance at her warily.
"Geez, Ash, whoever this Lusabitch is must have really pissed you off if you're cussing this person out. It's not every day I hear you cuss. Never mind the fact that you actually want to strangle someone. And here I thought our arguments were intense!" Iris commented nervously.
"Oh, trust me, you don't want to know the shit we've been through lately, Iris." Ash admitted grimly.
"Yeah, apparently not if it got you this worked up." Iris stated, a little terrified. An uncomfortable silence crossed the village. Then Delia decided to speak up.
"Iris, you seem a little tense. And I'm not just talking about what my son said about this situation." she said, concerned. Everyone glanced towards her curiously as Iris gasped in recognition.
"Hold up! You're Ash and, if I am to believe Cindy, Kevin's mom, right?" she inquired curiously. A warm smile formed on Delia's face.
"Yep. You can just call me Delia. Anyway, do you mind if I ask you why you're nervous?" she asked back kindly. Soon, all eyes were on Iris and Rosa, who both looked nervous.
"Huh. Now that she mentioned it, Iris, you did seem nervous when my bro called you a lesbian." Cindy stated. Iris quirked an eyebrow.
"Bro? Cindy, are you sure you're not Ash and Kevin's sister?" she asked suspiciously. Most of the group chuckled lightly.
"No. I just have more of a sibling bond with them. Anyway, don't change the subject. I want to have that double battle soon!" Cindy exclaimed as she and Brendan exchanged challenging glances towards Ash and Kevin. Iris covered her eyes and shook her head exasperatedly.
"Yep, definitely a female Ash. Such a little kid." she mumbled under her breath. Rosa heard her girlfriend and giggled.
"Oh, you can't deny that you want to see a battle between 'siblings'. And they seem to be understanding of our situation. We should trust them. After all, Ash is one of your best friends next to Cilan, right? Cilan accepted you for who you are. So why not Ash?" she whispered knowingly. Iris couldn't help but smile.
"You're right. Thanks, cutie pie." she responded. Rosa's face turned red, which didn't go unnoticed by a couple of Ketchums.
"Hey now, save your love making for later, you two!" Ash and Cindy exclaimed teasingly. That time, Iris's face was the same color as Rosa's. Ash and Cindy snickered before giving each other a high five. They then heard laughter coming from inside Iris's hair. The duo, along with Kevin, sensed this Pokemon's aura, and, needless to say, Ash was shocked by the result.
"Um, Iris, why is there a Deino in your hair? And wait, where's Axew?" he inquired curiously. Pikachu let out a surprised gasp while Deino poked his head out of Iris's hair, with both of them looking quite startled.
"Ash, how did you figure out Deino was there?! And yes, he is mine. My friend Shannon gave one of her Hydriegons' offspring to me not too long ago." she replied. The trio couldn't help but smirk a little bit.
"Well, we do come from a long line of Aura Guardians after all. So, I guess you could say sensing other Pokemon's aura is like second nature to us. Though, some Pokemon can hide theirs too." Cindy explained, gazing up to where she assumed Mew was.
"Yeah, and I've only just recently begun exploring the full capabilities of my aura. Which probably would not have even happened in the first place if some certain people hadn't stuck their noses where they didn't belong!" Ash added, clearly livid. Needless to say, Iris, Deino, and Rosa were impressed...and a little intimidated by his hostility.
"Geez, I never thought you could be so hostile. Mind telling us what this 'Lusabitch' did that made you hate her so much? It must have been worse than what Team Rocket and Team Plasma tried to do in Unova." the Dragon Master in training inquired seriously. Almost everyone else's faces darkened.
"Actually, we came to see the Elder about that. We need her help with something." Yellow spoke up. Iris glanced towards her curiously before gasping in recognition.
"Wait, you're Yellow, an old friend of the Elder's, right?" she asked.
Yellow nodded while saying, "Yeah. And this is an urgent matter."
"Right." Iris concurred. After getting introduced to Gary, who smirked slyly and saluted to her and Rosa...and then slumped down when Cindy called him "Acorn Head" again, to their amusement, "Bianca", who was secretly smirking, Brendan, who gave them a curt nod, and Hau, whose face remained impassive as he, too, nodded, the couple gestured for the group to follow them. As they walked through the village, Ash quickly caught up to Iris and Rosa.
"Iris, we have a lot of catching up to do later. But seriously, though, congratulations to you and Rosa. Though, you never did tell us why you were nervous." he stated curiously. Iris and Rosa both shot Ash a grateful smile.
"Thank you, Ash. I had a feeling you would support us, but I wasn't too sure. And I will explain the nerves. Just not here." she stated sincerely. Ash raised an eyebrow, but nodded, nonetheless. A smirk crossed Iris's face.
"By the way, Haxorus wants a battle with you two." she whispered to Ash and Pikachu challengingly. Their eyes widened in shock.
The duo then smiled proudly and confidently as Ash muttered back, "So, he finally evolved twice, heh? Nice! And I'm sure we can arrange that for after the double battle." Iris grinned at that before they reached a large hut. She then became serious as she entered it first, with Rosa holding up a hand and telling the others to stop. After a few moments, Iris returned and told them to come in. As they did so, they saw an old woman kneeling on her knees on a mat in the middle of the room. Her gray hair and brown eyes were the only parts of her face visible underneath her orangish hijab with a green stripe that was decorated by a zigzagging line near the very top. She wore a tan colored dress that went all the way down to her brownish sandals. Her dress was decorated with two green zigzag lines that formed purple square-like shapes with a sky-blue dot in the middle over her chest. Near the helm of the dress, there was a black zigzagged line that looked like the one on her hijab.
*Ah...Yellow and Ash. Good to see you again. And I see you've gathered quite a group." the Elder said observantly. Ash bowed his head down before quickly introducing her to everyone else. Once that was done, the Elder turned stern.
"Nice to meet you all. Now Iris said there is something urgent you need to discuss with me?" she inquired. Yellow suddenly looked towards the Elder very seriously.
"Yes, Elder. Alola is in grave danger. The Ultra Beasts are free. Pokemon are being turned into Shadow Pokemon. My niece has been intoxicated by a Nihilego's neurotoxin. And my daughter has been kidnapped...by Necrozma." she managed to say while being very close to tears. Delia was going to comfort Yellow, but she stopped and smiled warmly upon seeing Kevin wrap her up into a hug, which she returned. Though, both of the women's heads throbbed from trying to remember a similar scene.
"It's going to be OK. We'll get them back. We promise." Kevin uttered, rubbing Yellow's back softly.
As she mumbled a mere "Thank you." to him, her and Delia's heads ached even more, causing them to flinch. The brothers and Latias frowned upon remembering the cause of their and Leaf's mothers' memory loss while Greninja and Kong's Pokeballs shook rapidly.
"Faba..." they muttered under their breaths. Iris, who, along with Deino, Rosa, and the Elder, were looking at Yellow in shock and pity, glanced towards Ash.
"You say something?" she asked. Ash just sighed deeply.
"Let's just say I have a major crush on Yellow's niece. And my brother and her daughter are a couple. So...yeah, that is why we're so worked up these days." he admitted grimly. Iris's jaw hung ajar in disbelief at the revelation.
"Wow, now that is a shitty thing for Lusabitch to do!" Rosa exclaimed, clearly disgusted. Iris had to nod.
"Oh, it's not just her. Team Rocket is helping her and her gang of lowlifes out too." Gary spat out venomously.
Iris gasped while asking, "Team Rocket?! You don't mean..." She trailed off as Ash shook his head.
"Not those three. They quit and are on our side now. It's complicated, though." he responded, thinking of Team Rainbow Rocket and their leaders. Iris became quite curious, but decided to hold off on the questions for now. Suddenly, they all heard a cough and turned to see Hau eying the Elder.
"Yellow said she hid a book with information on Necrozma here. More information than what was available for my bro's fight four years ago." he growled, speaking for the first time in a while. The Elder gazed at him curiously until she let out a soft gasp.
"You...You're Shadow, aren't you?" she whispered.
"Damn straight!" Hau replied proudly.
"So young to have suffered so much..." the Elder stated somberly before standing up. She walked over to a bookshelf, pulled out a silver rectangular box, and went back.
"You better have a means of opening this box, because no one, human nor Pokemon, has been successful at that." the Elder added sternly, handing it over to Hau. Everyone stared towards the box, very confused now.
"Huh. Now that's strange. Why won't it open?" Gary asked as he stroked his chin and examined it closely. All of a sudden, Hau had a brain wave, and his eyes widened.
"Yellow, did my bro help you make this box?" he questioned Yellow, who had released herself from Kevin's hug.
"Yeah, he did. Why?" she asked back. Hau abruptly got down on one knee and placed the box on the ground.
"Damn that paranoid motherfucker! This is a Bonded Taerium box! It'll only open when it comes in contact with his energy! Luckily, I got something of his." he explained before standing up. Hau then turned to the others.
"This is your only warning. Anyone who is squeamish, I suggest you turn away now. Especially you two, Brendan, Cindy. You shouldn't see this." he stated sternly. Yellow instantly understood his intentions and looked away. Delia, Mimey, Iris, Deino, Rosa, the Elder, Cindy, Snow, and Spark were confused, but ultimately decided to follow Hau's warning and turned their heads to the side. Brendan, however, had to act all mighty.
"You think I'm squeamish? Heh, try me." he retorted cockily. Hau gave Brendan a deadpanned expression.
"Boy, don't embarrass yourself in front of your girlfriend." the half Titan responded. Brendan simply smirked arrogantly, showing that he wasn't about to be deterred.
Hau sighed in defeat and placed his right hand on his left shoulder while saying, "Fine. Don't blame me if you faint, though. Ash, could you hold my arm for a second, please?" As he took his arm off, Brendan fainted on the spot.
Hau shook his head exasperatedly and mumbled under his breath, "Told you so, idiot." Cindy gazed down upon her boyfriend and crossed her arms.
"You should've heeded his warning, Mr. 'You think I'm squeamish? Heh, try me.'." she lamented, clearly embarrassed. The brothers, their Pokemon, and Gary grimaced and glanced over to Hau.
"Sure, but why am-" Ash couldn't finish his question as the half Titan shoved his arm into his hands. The Elder snuck a peek and gasped as Hau pulled a container out of his end. He knelt back down and attempted to open it, but was unsuccessful at first due to having one arm. Fortunately, Gary leaned over and held the base of the container for Hau, allowing him to get the cap off. He nodded in thanks and pulled out Soul Eater without the holster. Needless to say, the Elder was stunned.
"Is that..." She trailed off warily. Hau simply gave the Elder a nod. He let the clip slide out, removed a single round from it, and pressed this to the side of the box, which allowed it to open. After Hau cleaned his mess up, reattached his arm, and helped Cindy wake Brendan back up with a little Aura Sphere on the floor, making those who were unaware jump backwards in surprise, Yellow took the book out slowly, placed it on the floor, and opened it up.
"Here, allow me. You must still be traumatized from the mere mention of Necrozma after what happened four years ago." he stated kindly. Yellow shot Hau a grateful look and backed up while gesturing for him to go ahead. He got on both knees again, took a deep breath, and began reading:
"Two hundred years ago, Necrozma hypnotized a royal Gabena lady by the name of Lita, who led the Ultra Beasts in the Titan war. During the war, when Lunala was alone, he got captured by Necrozma, which transformed him into Dawn Wings Necrozma. Very soon, Necrozma underwent Ultra Burst and transformed into Ultra Necrozma, which is said to be the most powerful Pokemon in existence."
"Just a question, but how exactly would Ultra Necrozma be the strongest Pokemon when Arceus exists?" Cindy inquired, looking both scared and impressed.
"Think of it this way. If Arceus is the light, Necrozma is the one that takes the light away." Hau answered. Cindy nodded in understanding as he continued.
"To make matters worse for the Titans, Zeraora, the King of Thunder, got intoxicated by a Nihilego's neurotoxin, causing him to turn on his allies." Hau got cut off again.
"Sorry, Nihilego can intoxicate Pokemon as well now? Terrific. What's next, a Shadow Delphox that is also intoxicated?" Cindy asked sarcastically.
"Let's not." Brendan suggested helpfully, sweating buckets at the aspect of facing an intoxicated Shadow Delphox.
"All hope was lost until one Titan, Joshuott, and his Decidueye, Sharpshot, underwent the Bond Phenomenon." Hau went on. Brendan and Cindy glanced at each other, looking really intrigued.
"Bond Phenomenon?" he whispered to his girlfriend. She nodded with a smirk tugging at her lips, but she managed to remain impassive. Cindy's partners, however, did not. Snow and Spark stopped romping around as one of her Pokeballs shook slightly.
Hau then read something that made Greninja's Pokeball shake and Ash gaze down towards the Grenashium Z-Crystal: "Using a Z-Move exclusive to a Bond Phenomenon Decidueye, called Arrow Ascension, Joshuott defeated Ultra Necrozma, freed Lita and Lunala, and banished Necrozma into the Reverse World for the first time. Unfortunately, he was forced to seal Zeraora away into a hidden cave..." Cindy interrupted him once more.
"Why couldn't he just free Zeraora from Nihilego? Obviously, there's a way to free people. Otherwise, Ash wouldn't even be going on this quest." she stated.
"There is a way to free people. That's by beating the Nihilego. However, that only works for humans. To free a Pokemon from neurotoxin, you simply have to knock some sense into it. But Joshuott and Sharpshot were too weak after the battle, so that was why they had to seal Zeraora away into a hidden cave just below the left side of the Altar of the Sunne." Hau replied. He then turned to see Yellow shaking uncontrollably with Kevin trying to comfort her.
"Poor Yellow. Hearing this again must have been hard for her, considering she was in a similar situation." Hau concurred grimly. Kevin gritted his teeth furiously.
"That does not make me want to kill that devil loving son of a bitch any less. Never mind that shapeshifting bitch." he mumbled under his breath.
"Wow, Kev, bro, tell us how you really feel. Not that I blame you or anything." Cindy uttered, almost sounding scared.
"Well, in any case, Zeraora is the King of Thunder mentioned in the prophecy Professor Burnet talked about, right?" Gary asked seriously. Hau gave him a nod while those who were unaware became confused.
"Prophecy? What prophecy?" Iris inquired curiously.
"Actually, allow me to explain. I used to be old friends with Hera, the Grand Elder of the Titan's village, before her untimely demise eight years ago, so I know it quite well." the Elder said solemnly. She then went on to recite and explain the Titan's prophecy to those who didn't know.
"Wow. How come we haven't heard that before?" Iris inquired, a little annoyed.
"Because I swore to keep it a secret until the time was right. And now is the time. Alola is going through another rough patch, and this could get really messy, really fast." the Elder responded sternly.
Before anybody could reply, they heard a man's voice call out behind them, "Well, it's not like things aren't already messy enough, what with Ghetsis escaping from jail and Team Plasma joining Team Rocket."
