Those three words echoed inside Serena's mind like a broken record. Her jaw hung ajar as she stared at Paul with a dumbstruck look on her face. Tierno and Serenity were glancing between the two siblings, looking very confused. Blue was calling an Officer Jenny on his cell phone while everyone else was just staring ahead, mostly murmuring stuff like, "Red and Blue are here! Yay, we're saved!" and "Wait, what did that boy call her?!"

Tierno shot an angry glare towards Paul and shouted, "HONEYCAKE?! HEY! WHO GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO USE A NICKNAME FOR MY PRINCESS?!" He scowled, but never took his eyes off his sister.

"'Your Princess'? I only allow one person to call her that. And guess what. it's not you, you Team Skull scumbag!" Paul shot back. Tierno flinched while a headache made Serena stumble and hold her head. Nobody actually saw Mallow, Tsareena, Red, Inferno, Voltage, Blue, who had hung up his phone, and Blastoise smirk.

"Why, you-" Tierno got interrupted.

"Shut your damn mouth, or I'll beat you up worse than he did! You think you can drug Sere's mind without me knowing about it?! You are a pathetic fool who would do anything to get whoever you want!" Paul retorted nastily. Tierno winced in fear while Serena's headache intensified even more. Weavile was taken aback, since he never saw his trainer this passionate.

"And Nihilego, don't think I haven't forgotten about you. You are the bane of my family's existence, you disgusting, worthless, pathetic lowlife!" Paul hissed out venomously. Everyone besides those who knew froze.

'Your family? Who are you, a cousin of hers like that one girl...what was her name again...oh, I remember now...Leaf?!' Serenity asked nonchalantly. Paul's expression darkened.

"The real Serena would never forget me. The real Serena would never forget my brother, Reggie. The real Serena would never forget our mother besides the 'grudge' you apparently still hold over Rhyhorn racing. The real Serena would never forget our father outside of the shit you put him through. And the real Serena wouldn't forget the old saying: 'Never give up until the very end!'." he stated. Serena's head throbbed harder as tears slowly dripped down her cheeks. Tierno and Serenity frowned upon hearing that annoying catchphrase for the second time in two days while Mallow, Red, Blue, and their Pokemon's smirks only grew. Paul then took his family photo out of his pocket and held it up for the Ultra Beast and the Team Skull member to see.

"I usually go by the name of Paul Gabena, but my name is actually Paul Yvonne, the son of Calem Yvonne. And that is my sister you're intoxicating, vile creature!" he exclaimed with hatred coursing through his veins. Everybody except for Serenity, who was shaken up, Serena, Red, Blue, and their Pokemon let their jaws drop in shock from the revelation.

Tierno gulped before muttering to himself, "Shit...Serena has two brothers?! That is bad."

"...Pathetic." Serena uttered with her body shaking and her arms going limp.

"Fight the neurotoxin, sis! THIS ISN'T YOU! THIS ISN'T THE LITTLE SISTER I KNOW! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GIRL WHO MADE MOM STOP HARRASSING YOU OVER RHYHORN RACING?!" Paul shouted, placing his photo back in his pocket.

"Shut up." Serena said a little louder than before. Her eyes glowed red, and she became surrounded by a purple aura. Mallow, Olivia, Red, Blue, and their Pokemon tensed up. Paul, however, wasn't deterred as he walked up to Serena.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GIRL WHO, DESPITE AN INJURED WRIST, ALMOST DETHRONED ARIA AS THE KALOS QUEEN IN HER FIRST MASTER CLASS, EVEN THOUGH THAT WAS A SCAM?! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GIRL WHO WAS TAKING THE HOENN CONTEST SCENE BY STORM?!" he exclaimed desperately while holding out his arms.

"I SAID SHUT UP!" Serena shot back nastily. She clenched a fist so hard that a vein was popping out of her hand.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GIRL WHO LOVED MY GREATEST RIVAL-OOF!" Paul gasped as he felt a powerful punch connect with his stomach. He staggered back a bit and fell to his knees while coughing up blood on his coat. Everyone besides Tierno, who now had a vicious smirk, and a calm Serenity let out a yelp.

"What? I did say to shut up, didn't I, you pathetic excuse for a Yvonne?!" Serena inquired demonically.

"WEAVILE!" Weavile shouted worriedly. He was going to run over to Paul, but he held up his hand to stop his Pokemon before staring into Serena's cold eyes intensely.

"My sister would never be a puppet for anyone. Not even Mom! And yet, here you are, being controlled like a mindless slave who is hell bent on destroying the very world you helped to protect from Lysandre! YOU ARE LIVING IN A FUCKING LIE, AND I AM SICK OF THIS! LUSAMINE IS NOTHING MORE THAN A LIAR, A CHEATER, AND A PIECE OF TRASH!" he hollered viciously, clearly on a roll. Serena and Tierno flinched at the mention of Lysandre, but that didn't stop them and Serenity from getting increasingly angrier.

"Why won't you just...SHUT...THE...HELL...UP?!" she asked scathingly. Paul just smirked.

"TIERNO IS A SHITTY TRAINER WHO DOES NOT DESERVE ANYTHING BUT AN ASS WHIPPING!" he retaliated. Tierno's body shook violently in a mixture of rage and fear.

"Why, you dumbass..." he trailed off. Paul managed to stand up, wipe the blood off his chin, and back up a few feet. He grabbed a Pokeball from his belt and pressed on the white button to enlarge it.

"AND I'VE SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST! COMPARED TO YOUR DELPHOX, SYLVEON, PANCHAM, MILOTIC, ALTARIA, AND A CERTAIN POKEMON YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IN A LONG TIME, ALL OF YOUR ULTRA BEASTS...ARE PATHETIC! TORTERRA, STAND BY FOR BATTLE!" he exclaimed nastily while throwing it forward. The Pokeball opened up, and Torterra landed and let out his signature cry. He then shot a deadly look towards an equally furious Serenity. Serena's head only throbbed even more as she struggled to remember where she had seen that Pokemon before. A hushed silence fell around the city, with some people trying to drown out the ringing in their ears that all the yelling had caused. Serena was going to grab a Beast Ball, but Paul wagged his finger, making her confused.

"Come on, bring out Nihilego. I dare you." he stated confidently. Serenity froze while Serena and Tierno became befuddled. Red, Blue, and their Pokemon quirked an eye.

"Sounds like he knows what is really up." Blue commented. Red simply nodded.

"Uh, excuse me, you don't get to decide who I bring out." Serena said, getting more annoyed by the minute. Paul's smirk only grew, much to her and Serenity's chagrin.

"Oh, really? Hey Nihilego, are you such a coward that you'd let the other Ultra Beasts do the battling against more powerful foes like me, Red, and Blue?" he inquired tauntingly. Serenity winced and shivered.

"OK, if you don't shut up right this instance, I will-" Tierno got interrupted again.

"Zip it, fatso. You are not relevant to this conversation." Paul retorted viciously. Tierno flinched before balling a hand into a fist, grabbing a Pokeball from his belt, and enlarging it.

"OK, THAT'S IT! I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU! BLASTOISE, TIME TO DANCE!" he exclaimed nastily while throwing it forward. The Pokeball burst open, revealing Blastoise, who glared at Torterra.

Just as Tierno was about to even give him a command, they heard a loud "PIKA-CHUUUUUU!" All of a sudden, Blastoise got zapped by a yellow bolt of electricity, earning a shrill cry of pain from him.

"Excuse me?!" Tierno yelped in shock. Blastoise collapsed on his back with swirls in his eyes. Tierno froze at the sight of his starter getting knocked out in one hit. He then shakily turned his head to see Voltage sparking his cheeks and Red with his hat shadowing his eyes.

"I wouldn't interfere in their sibling quarrel if I was you. And you'd be better off leaving Serena alone if you know what's good for you." he uttered with a deadly calmness. Tierno gulped as he returned Blastoise back to his Pokeball and gathered up the courage.

"You just got lucky, Red...Ketchum. But I guarantee you that your son won't be as lucky in five months. Neither will Paul." he spat out. A slight smirk crossed Red's face.

"Don't say I didn't warn you." he replied sternly. They then looked back towards the siblings and their partners.

"Sorry, Paul, Serenity isn't in the mood for a battle. Now...if you'll excuse me, I have a score to settle with the two idiots who killed OUR father!" Serena hissed venomously. Paul actually scoffed while Red, Blue, and their Pokemon seemed unnaturally calm.

"See, Nihilego, you're exactly what I expect. You are a coward because you know what would happen if you faint, don't you? You know...because you've experienced it before." the boy shot back. Serenity flinched while Serena and Tierno became even more confused.

"Serenity, what is he talking about?" she asked. However, Serenity couldn't answer.

"Oh, have I hit a nerve, Nihilego? Be honest. Are you afraid of losing because you know that if you do, you will lose control of your vessel?!" Paul inquired seriously. Serenity was taken aback by that comment.

"...Serenity, what vessel?" Serena questioned her suspiciously. Serenity looked rather irked.

"Go ahead and make her forget this even happened. After all, you've done this at my Trial, have you, 'Serenity'?" Mallow retorted sassily. Paul rose an eyebrow.

"Interesting. I was wondering where that yell was coming from. What was it, something like "I love Ash Ketchum"?!" he inquired teasingly. Serena's head throbbed more painfully than ever as her face turned beet red. Red actually smirked a little bit while Tierno was seething.

"I-I-I said no such thing! After all, a Yvonne can't fall in love with a Ketchum! That just sounds so wrong!" Serena stuttered out. Paul chuckled.

"Oh really? Because I know you all too well, Honeycake. I know better than anyone that the real you would pick Ash over Tierno in a heartbeat. And deep down, he knows this too. I remembered when you were watching the Sinnoh League in Kalos. You actually rooted against me when I faced Ash. So, I know for a fact that you held on to that crush of yours for so long. Beneath all that neurotoxin, you can never truly forget your knight in shining armor. And that is going to be Nihilego's downfall. Anyway, since she doesn't want to battle, I have no business being here anymore." he stated confidently. Paul then held out Torterra's Pokeball.

"Torterra, return." he said calmly. Torterra returned inside his Pokeball.

After returning Weavile too, Paul turned around to leave, but not before saying quietly for only Serena and Serenity to hear, "You should be thanking Red and Blue for saving you from Viren's assassins, not making false accusations for something they didn't do. And we will meet again in five months. Let's have our battle at the League, shall we, sis?" He walked away from Konikoni City. Once Paul was well out of reach, he sat down near a tree. He took out his cell phone, punched in a number, and put it up to his ear.

Paul waited for a while until he heard a man's voice say, "Hey, Paul."

He smiled bitterly while uttering, "Hey...Dad."

Back with Serena's group, she stood as still as a statue, unable to move after that bombshell her brother dropped on her.

Impossible...I have a crush...on a Ketchum?! That can't be possible! Ketchums and Yvonnes coexisting just sounds so wrong! And yet...my own brother just sided with Red! Why?! she brooded.

Hey Serena, this is a golden opportunity to get payback for your father! We can't let this chance get away from us! Serenity exclaimed with a deadly glare at Red, Blue, and their Pokemon.

...Yes. Serena replied stoically. She put her hands together and focused her aura on a single point, creating a purple ball of energy with a red shadowy aura surrounding it. Red, Voltage, Inferno, Blue, and Blastoise quirked an eye while everyone else began to panic.

"Go ahead and try. I bet you don't have the guts to do it." Red stated sternly.

'Oh, she's got the guts. DO IT!' Serenity yelled out confidently. A minute passed, and...nothing happened.

'Huh?' Serenity asked, genuinely confused. She turned to see Serena hesitating.

'What are you waiting for?! Kill them!' Serenity exclaimed nastily.

"HOW ABOUT YOU SHUT THE HELL UP, SERENITY?! I AM YOUR TRAINER, AND YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! AND DON'T YOU DARE USE YOUR NEUROTOXIN TO MAKE ME FORGET THIS!" Serena shot back as her Dark Aura Sphere disappeared. Serenity and Tierno instantly turned pale. Red and Mallow actually chuckled.

"See, Nihilego, you grossly underestimated Serena's heart. You might have poisoned her mind, but you can never truly control her emotions...especially when it comes to her and Ash. You may try and get her to kill us, but she will refuse every time. And you know why, don't you? I remind her of him. Isn't that right, Serena?" he asked calmly. Serena could not respond to that, instead looking down at her feet.

"T-T-That's Tauros shit! Serena, don't listen to him! He and Blue killed your father! They're going to do the same thing to you if you don't do the deed first!" Tierno shouted desperately. Blue smirked.

"Tierno, was it? You and Nihilego should pay more attention to your surroundings. You might notice the idiotic Revengers lying in front of your dumb faces...not that Nihilego has a face or anything." he retorted. Tierno and Serenity became even more steamed by the comment.

He was going to grab his Beast Ball before Serena said, "Actually, as much as I don't want to say this, he does have a point. Look closer, dummies." Now very confused, Tierno and Serenity did as they were told...and winced upon seeing the knocked-out members of the Revengers.

"Uh, who did that?" he asked warily. Serena had to resist facepalming at that.

"Really? Really? REALLY?! Are you deaf, Tierno?! Even I could hear Red, Blue, and Paul's voices from inside Olivia's office." she responded, almost sounding embarrassed. Tierno and Serenity flinched.

"Bingo! Even though you're intoxicated, you still have the common sense to realize that we beat up these idiots. They were going to assassinate the so-called 'Beast Witch'. And that wouldn't have been good." Blue stated seriously. Serena, Tierno, and Serenity froze while the crowd gasped.

"Now before anybody starts speculating, let me just say that we are NOT working for Lusamine, nor will we ever cooperate with the two-faced bitch. We teamed up with Paul for reasons you cannot comprehend. He might be a Yvonne, but in the grand scheme of things, that means nothing since he's on our side, not Lusamine's. That just goes to show us that blood is thicker than water." Red added. Serena, Serenity, and Tierno seemed to have lost their voices momentarily. Before anyone else could say a word, they heard a siren blaring.

Red turned towards Serena and mouthed to her, "Return Nihilego quickly. It's for your own good." She looked very confused by that odd order.

"Huh?" Serena inquired curiously.

"Just do it. You don't want to go to jail for possessing an Ultra Beast now, do you?" Red asked back. Serena's eyes widened in shock at the revelation. After a few seconds of internally debating, and as much as she didn't want to do it, she decided to trust Red's judgement and took Serenity's Beast Ball off her belt.

"Serenity, return." Serena uttered. Serenity and Tierno were caught off guard, allowing her to return her Ultra Beast inside.

"What the hell, Serena?!" he screeched, completely shocked. The Beast Ball shook violently in Serena's hand.

"Stop, Serenity. This is for our own good. If we go to jail over wreaking havoc in the city, we'll be separated. And I don't want that." she mumbled to it quietly enough for Tierno to hear too. He and the Beast Ball seemed to calm down a bit.

Oh. So, you're not abandoning our mission? Serenity questioned Serena curiously.

Of course not. Be patient. We'll kill Red and Blue when we win the League. Sound good? she suggested while keeping a straight face.

Huh. You got me intrigued. Do you want to show off to them there? Serenity asked. Serena couldn't help but chuckle a little bit.

Yeah, I want to see the desperate looks on their faces when I win. I want them to realize that they fucked up by killing Dad. I want to relish the moment they bow down to the Queen of Alola. Then I'll blast them to the Reverse World! she proclaimed boldly.

Heh. You're a lot craftier than your father. Fine. I can wait for our revenge. Serenity replied calmly. Serena smiled warmly as she put the Beast Ball away. She then shot a curious glance towards Red, who was patiently shooing the crowd away.

Just what are you hiding, Red? she brooded. Suddenly, a police car sped into the scene. When it stopped, an Officer Jenny got out and held up her badge. She had a Growlithe by her side.

"Officer Jenny here! Did anybody call about an attempted assassination?" Jenny asked authoritatively. Blue raised his hand before stepping aside for her to see the Revengers.

"That would be me, Officer. These men were going to kill one of the trial goers here, who wishes to remain anonymous. But we stopped them before they did any damage." he answered firmly. Serena and Tierno both quirked an eye.

"Why are Red and Blue being so nice to me? I don't understand. Did they really kill Dad?" she inquired in a quiet and uncertain tone.

What are you on about?! Of course! Why else haven't we seen him in years? Serenity retorted warily. Serena simply shrugged her shoulders as Red and Blue walked up to her and Tierno. They shared a brief staredown before one of the men smirked.

Red leaned in and whispered something into Serena's ear that made her eyes grow wide and freeze: "If you want to know the truth behind your father's disappearance, come to us. With Nihilego only, since you can't be separated."

"Huh?" Tierno questioned them sternly. Red glared at him.

"It doesn't concern you. Let's go, Blue." he replied while turning around. Tierno became even more irritated and was about to forcefully put his hand on Red's shoulder...only for Serena to surprise him by grabbing his wrist.

"Leave him be. And don't ask me what he whispered to me. Same goes for you too, Serenity." she uttered with conflicting emotions. Before Serenity or Tierno could even respond, Serena turned to face Olivia, Mallow, and Tsareena.

"Olivia, I'm ready for your Grand Trial now." she stated confidently.

Olivia smirked while saying, "Very well. Follow me." With Mallow and Tsareena in tow, she led Serena and Tierno out of Konikoni City. Several minutes later, they reached a gray stone platform just outside the Ruins of Life. Serena and Tierno narrowed their eyes.

"The Ruins of Life...said to be the home of Tapu Lele..." she mumbled under her breath as she walked over to one side with two Beast Balls in her hands. Olivia stood at the other end, holding two Pokeballs. Mallow and Tsareena were standing in the referee's spot while Tierno sat down in the stony stands.

"This is a Grand Trial battle between Serena and Kahuna Olivia. It will be a double battle. No substitutions are allowed. The battle will be over when both of the opposing team's Pokemon have been defeated. Understood?" she questioned the trainers authoritatively. Both Serena and Olivia nodded in agreement before enlarging their balls.

"Trainers, release your Pokemon!" Mallow said neutrally.

"Pheromosa, Kartana, stand by for battle!" Serena exclaimed while throwing her Beast Balls forward. They opened up, revealing Pheromosa and Kartana, who shot a murderous glare towards Olivia. She smirked a little bit and held out her arms.

"Wela Volcano, which nurtures Akala Island. Tapu Lele, the guardian of all island life. Watch over this young woman and me during her island challenge and bestow your strength upon us! Now...Lycanroc, Probopass, let's go!" she shouted while tossing her Pokeballs up. They burst open, and a Midday Lycanroc and Probopass appeared and stared down the Ultra Beasts. Suddenly, a wave of invisible energy came out of the Compass Pokemon's body and lightly hit Kartana.

Huh? he wondered inside Serena's mind.

What is it? she asked warily.

I could have sworn that I felt something. Kartana answered, a little confused.

Are you sure it's not just the anticipation of another Kahuna being slaughtered? Serena inquired. Kartana thought about it for a few seconds, then shrugged.

Maybe. he replied confidently. Mallow put her arm up in the air.

"It's Pheromosa and Kartana vs. Lycanroc and Probopass! Let the battle...BEGIN!" she hollered as she brought it back down, signifying the start of the battle.

"Probopass, set up the Stealth Rock!" Olivia commanded. Probopass's eyes glowed light blue and his Mini-Noses spun around his body, forming a light blue ring of energy on the ground around Pheromosa and Kartana. Serena narrowed her eyes while the glow faded.

"Be careful not to step on that." she warned her partners. They nodded in acknowledgment.

"Heh. You don't get a choice, Serena. Probopass, show off your ability and slam Kartana directly into that area!" Olivia exclaimed. Serena, Tierno, and the Ultra Beasts let out a surprised gasp as a struggling Kartana seemingly floated until he was directly above the area.

"Crap. Magnet Pull. No wonder he felt something. Pheromosa, stop Probopass with High Jump Kick!" she screeched out. Pheromosa lunged for Probopass with her leg glowing white.

"Lycanroc, stop her with Accelerock!" Olivia countered. Lycanroc surrounded himself in a white aura and shot off like a rocket. He rammed into Pheromosa in midair. Serena winced as she crashed, knee first, on the hard surface. The trainer then cried in pain as she held her own knee.

"SERENA!" Tierno yelped worriedly. Olivia and Mallow also looked alarmed, to his surprise.

"Ow...that hurt." Serena mumbled to herself. Suddenly, she was reminded of a time when she actually did injure her knee. Serena vividly remembered the scene of her, as a little girl, being lost in the woods and getting startled by a Poliwag. However, she couldn't make out the blurry features of the young boy who helped nurse the injury and take her back to what seemed like a campsite, nor could she hear much of what he said.

But there was one quote Serena heard loud and clear that piqued her interest: "Hey, don't give up until it's over, OK?" She recoiled as she came back to her senses, just in time to see Kartana fall towards the light blue area.

"STICK YOURSELF INTO THE GROUND WITH SACRED SWORD! HURRY!" Serena screamed desperately. She ignored her throbbing head as she also, via aura, told Pheromosa, who was getting back up, to use Quiver Dance. Kartana quickly put his arms and legs together and changed into a bigger, light blue sword. He stuck the blade inside the area, leaving cracks around it. Tierno quirked an eyebrow.

That looks eerily similar somehow. he thought. A gray stone pillar shot up with Kartana right in the middle of it...only for it and the glowing area to majestically shatter.

Mallow couldn't help but smirk a little bit while thinking, So, this is a Performer of Serena's caliber. Impressive.

"You sure are interesting, Serena. But let's see how you deal with this! Lycanroc, Rock Slide! And Probopass, Zap Cannon on Kartana!" Olivia ordered her partners. Serena actually smiled slightly as some of the tufts on Lycanroc's fur glowed white. It then faded as he created multiple rocks outlined in a white glow around his body. Probopass made a yellow ball with a red center in front of his nose. They fired their attacks at their targets.

"Well, what do you know? You're more of a challenge than old man Hala was. Time to get serious then! Kartana, slice the Zap Cannon and some of the rocks in half! And Pheromosa, Rock Slide...Climb!" Serena exclaimed confidently. While Kartana, still in his Sacred Sword form, sliced some of the rocks and the Zap Cannon in half, Pheromosa used her increased speed to jump from rock to rock until she was directly above Probopass. Mallow and Olivia squinted their eyes at the oddly familiar strategy.

"High Jump Kick!" Serena shouted. Before Olivia could even think, Pheromosa shot down and gave Probopass a hard knee to the nose. The collision knocked him over the edge of the stage, and he landed on the grass with a loud thud.

"PROBOPASS!" Olivia yelped as she turned around. She gasped upon seeing her motionless Probopass with a broken nose and swirls in his eyes.

Mallow noticed that too and announced, "Probopass is unable to battle!" Olivia returned Probopass back to his Pokeball.

"Thanks, Probopass. You were great out there." she mumbled to it before putting it away.

"That's my Serena! Always one step ahead." Tierno commented proudly. Mallow and Tsareena had to resist the urge to gag.

Yeah! I can move freely again! Kartana cheered happily while flying all over the place. Serena and Pheromosa both chuckled a little bit before they became serious and directed a deadly glare at Lycanroc, who was growling valiantly.

I say we dish out some payback for the bum knee. the Bug and Fighting type Ultra Beast hissed out. Serena nodded.

"OK. Kartana, can you distract Lycanroc for a minute?" she asked.

Sure can! Kartana replied as his blade turned purple. He flew over without warning and slammed himself onto Lycanroc's back. He grunted in pain as he collapsed on his belly.

"Lycanroc!" Olivia shouted desperately. Lycanroc tried to stand up, but Kartana held him down by the neck.

'Stay down, you dumb mutt.' he said venomously while his opponent tried to shake him off. Serena then clenched both fists.

"Here we go, Pheromosa!" she exclaimed, crossing her arms up front in a X. The Fightinium Z-Crystal began to glow.

"Oh no. Lycanroc, get out of there!" Olivia hollered loudly as the purple aura became orange. Serena spread her arms to the sides of her body, moving them in a semicircle formation. She then drove her left fist ahead, rapidly punched the air five times, arched her body back, and brought her left fist and foot forward. The aura transferred over to Pheromosa, who looked ready to deliver the knockout blow.

"ALL-OUT PUMMELING!" Serena yelled out viciously. Pheromosa repeatedly fired an orange hand shaped energy at Lycanroc.

'Good boy.' Kartana uttered mockingly before flying out of the way and making his blade vanish. The energy blasts hit Lycanroc hard, resulting in a shrill howl of pain from him and a massive explosion.

"LYCANROC!" Olivia yelped, clearly concerned. Tierno smiled fondly and stood up while clapping his hands.

Mallow and Tsareena sighed bitterly as she announced, "Lycanroc is also unable to battle. Kartana and Pheromosa are the winners. Therefore, the victory goes to Serena!"

"All right, guys! Two Grand Trials down, two more to go!" Serena cheered excitedly. The Ultra Beasts smirked confidently. Olivia, who had returned Lycanroc to his Pokeball with thanks, walked up to Serena with a brown orb and Rockium Z-Crystal in hand.

"That was a great battle, Serena." she stated in a neutral tone. Serena narrowed her eyes.

"Did hell just freeze over, or did you just praise me?" she asked, genuinely confused. Her Ultra Beasts and Tierno had the same look on their faces too. Olivia actually chuckled a little bit.

"Just because you are a threat to the entire region doesn't mean that everyone has to be salty when you beat them. And I feel like I was able to grasp who you really are. I was able to peek into your soul during our battle. You're not truly a monster like everybody else makes you out to be." she answered honestly. Needless to say, everyone else was shocked to the core.

"Uh, thanks, I guess?" Serena uttered uncertainly. Olivia simply nodded before placing the orb and Z-Crystal in her hand.

"Good luck on Ula'ula Island. Something tells me you're going to need it." she replied seriously.

Meanwhile, a certain member of the Revengers was sitting in his office on the top-secret floor of the Happy Rainbow Resorts. He had yellow colored sideburns and a beard and was wearing a black jacket with yellow thunderbolts on it, purple shorts, and black shoes with a yellow stripe on the top. In his hand, he held a mostly yellow fan with a Z-Move symbol in the middle. The man, Viren, growled in anger after watching his good for nothing followers fail to kill Serena.

He was so blinded by rage that he didn't realize he had been surfing through the channels on his TV until he heard a newscaster say, "Three years ago..." Suddenly, an evil smirk crossed Viren's face as a plan came alive. He picked up the phone and punched in a number a friend gave him long ago.

"Hello?" a cold voice inquired when the call came through.

"Is your business still open?" Viren asked just as coldly.

"Who do you want?" the voice questioned him.

Viren smirked while saying, "Serena Yvonne and her Ultra Beasts. They are here in Alola. And I'll pay you big money for this."

After a brief silence, the voice replied, "Deal. Send me a photo of Serena."
