No matter how much I tried to keep my mind on my niece I just couldn't. For the last two hours Cain and I have been visiting with Savannah while I hold Annabel. I've played peek-a-boo, patty cake, made silly faces, and sang lullabies to her. She looks so much like Shane, it keeps reminding that my brother is dead. He is gone and Annabel will never know her daddy, she will never get his lecture on boys, she won't get to learn about guns or knives which are two of Shane's favorie things. He had taught me everything about them he loved them that much, so my plan was to teach her what Shane had taught me. 

"It's so nice to see Annabel happy. Since I felt Shane's passing neither of us have been our selves. I am glad to see her relaxing." Savannah was watching Annabel play and interact with me.

Cain smiles at me and Annabel, "It must be because of the bond Kat and Shane share. Annabel can sense that Kat is family and is calmed by that. If there is any truth to wearwolf death its that the young will always know who is family and who isn't." 

"Umm, speaking of bonds and family." Savannah says hesitantly, "Kat what would you think about being Annabel's God Mother, and Cain the God Father?" she was nervous that we would say no.

"What do you think hun?" I mind linked Cain.

"Of course baby, I would be honored." he didn't even hesitate to answer.

I smiled at Savannah, noticing how much she was fidgiting and playing with the hem of her shirt. "Of course we would be honored to." Savannah let out the breath she was holding in.

"Good because, well umm... I'm pregnant again." she said shyly. I just stared at her, my mouth wide open with my jaw hitting the floor. Savannah continued, "I'm only six weeks along right now. We found out I was pregnant a week before you showed up." she admitted sheepishly.

I couldn't believe it, Savannah was having another baby. But wait Annabel wasn't even a year old yet. Wow. Two babies. I was so excited I didn't know what to do. I just stared at Savannah in a state of shock. Cain took Annabel from my arms and I jumped up and went and wrapped my arms around Savannah and pulled her into a hug. Tears streaming down both of our cheeks while we hugged eachother.

"I will be here for you and both babies Savannah, no matter what I will be here. I'm so happy and excited. Have you told my family yet?" I was so excited that I missed her flinch back at the mention of my family.

"I told them everything Kat." Savannah finally whispers after a moment of silence.

"Wh... what?" I stuttered in confusion.

"Umm, after you were taken Shane called them and told them about you finding your mate, getting kidnapped and he forgot about me being pregnant. So after his death I called them to tell them the bad news, and softened the blow by telling them that I am expecting again." She was crying by the end of her explation.

I was still holding Savannah when Thomas and Jason came into the sitting room. Instantly Thomas came over to kneel infront of us, concern etched accross his face.

"Kitty Kat, Savannah what's wrong girls?" he wrapped us both into a hug.

"Just talking about some things." Savannah said trying to give him her best 'I'm ok' smile.

"I hope you are all ready to go home. I made arrangements for everyone and we leave today. Oh and Kitty Kat, the elementals are going with you and Alpha Cain back to his territory. I hope thats ok with you." I smiled and just nodded. I didn't trust my voice to speak at the moment without cracking. I was so emotional.

Things seemed to blur together after that. I didn't speak very many words to anyone. I was stuck in my own little world thinking. I was thinking about my life, my parents, my friends, the events that have happened recently, my powers, the prophecy and finally my mate. My thoughts were a swirled mess, and everytime I tried focusing on one thing I would end up thinking about something totally different. After getting the little bit of stuff I did have, thanks to Synth, packed I hopped in the back of a dodge ram 3500 mega cab. There was a topper on the back for luggage and everyone's stuff, so the back seat could be for people.

Tyler was driving, apparently it was his personal truck, Pat sat in the passenger seat, which left me, Cain and Cody sitting in the back seat. Of course I had to sit bitch (in the middle) because heavin forbid Cain and Cody touch eachother.

"Come on Kat, please just sit in the middle?" Cody pleaded with me.

"Why should I? Just because I'm female? I questioned him.

"Of course not. I just... umm well.. its just that... ARG!" Cody screamed in frustration.

"Baby, I want the window seat and so does Cody, can't you just sit in the middle?" Cain tried.

"No because I want a window seat to." I replied, putting a pouty face on. It always worked with Cain.

"Would you three just get in the friggin truck already? Like seriously it doesn't matter." Tyler grumbled.

"That's easy for you to say, you don't have to sit right next to another man." Cody mumbled under his breath. I was the only one close enough to hear. I smiled and just hopped into the truck sitting in the middle seat.

"FINALLY!" Tyler sighed. "Lets go already." he grumbled and threw the big diesel into drive.

"Cain hun, can I admit something to you?" mind linked him.

"Anything baby." He reassured me.

"I'm a bit nervous and scared to meet your family. I mean I am a bit of a freak. What are they going to think of me being an elemental? What are your parents going to think?" I was very scared. I thought having my air powers would make me a freak in their eyes.

"Kat, baby, you are NOT a freak. I love you with all my heart. You are a powerful, loving, strong, beautiful person. Everyone is going to love you no matter what. They are all going to fall in love with your personality the same way everyone at Alpha Jason's pack has baby. I promise you no one is going to think of you as a freak." Cain grabbed my hand and raised it up to his lips and lightly kissed the back of it. He smiled at me which reassured me that everything he said he meant.

"Thank you hun. I love you so much." I told him and rested my head on his shoulder. His arm snaked around me and pulled me onto his lap. I snuggled into his chest and closed my eyes. I felt safe, secure and a bit tired, so I drifted off to sleep as we drove.

I jolted up out of bed at the sound of some one sreaming. I don't know where I am, this room doesn't look familiar. I hear another scream coming from the other side of the door. I slowly walk over to the door, trying my best to be quiet. I push my ear against the door to see if I can hear any other noises. Nothing but silence, its an eerie silence. I slowly open the door just a crack and peek throught the door. A blinding white light is all I see, then all of a sudden the door pushes open all the way and I take a step back,

I walk through the open door and scan the room. Wait its not a room, I'm in a clearing, surrounded by a field of wildflowers. The birds are happily singing their beautiful song, the sun is blazing bright and the smell of the flowers is beautiful. Standing accross the clearing is a man dressed in a white hooded cloak. I can't see his face but I know it is a man. I don't fear him though, which is odd.

I start thinking this is dejavu. I had a dream exactly like this before but it didn't last this long. I just stood there, staring at the man.

'Please come closer my child. It has been far to long since I last saw you. You have grown into a beautiful young woman." the hooded man says. His voice is strained and gruff. Almost like he is weak or struggling.

I don't move, but I cock my head to the side while observing him. He is tall, like extremely tall. At least seven feet tall. His whole demeanor screams strength and power. His broad shoulders, muscular build are shown through the cloak he is wearing. Some how this man seems familiar, yet I don't remember from where.

"Who are you?" I finally ask.

"Come sit and I will explain my child." was his response. He seemed tense and I don't know why, I didn't have any warning bells going off in my mind so I went forward and sat infront of this man on the ground. He sat down as well. His hood was hiding most of his face, but I could see his chin, it was square and covered in a five o'clock shadow. 

"Who are you?" I ask again. Feeling a bit irritated at this man who keeps himself hidden.

He lets out a small laugh, "So impatiant, just like your mother." he chuckled again. I just stared at him, getting more and more confused.

"How do you know my mother? Tell me now who the hell are you?" I was getting angry now, I even let some of my power come through as I spoke.

"Calm down Kathryne, your powers have no affect on me, just like mine don't affect you." his mouth was turned up into a smirk. "Now, down to business, I know your mother and father dear. I am your great grandfather, Charleston Montgomery." the man, er I mean my Grandfather, removed his hood,

My mouth dropped to the ground, he was speaking the truth. This man was my great grandfather. The man I only met when I was younger. I was only eight when I last saw him. He hasn't changed at all since that day.

"Close your mouth darlin, don't want you catching any flys." he chuckled at me, his vibrant purple eyes dancing with amusement.

"B.. b.. but.. I.. You... I mean.." I stuttered, undable to say what I wanted to say.

"How can I be here because I am dead?" he asked. I just nodded my head, I didn't trust my voice at that moment. He just smiled and opened his arms for a hug, I didn't even hesitate I went and gave my great grandfather a hug and a couple tears ran down my cheek. He smiled so lovingly at me as he wiped my cheek free of my tears.

"Well my little princess, the moon godess is allowing me to be here. I have to warn you that you need to train hard for the next while. You don't have much longer before shit is going to start hitting the fan. You and Cain need to finish the mating process, as much as I don't want my grandbaby fully mated." he frowned at that thought. "You need to make sure that the people in Cain's pack train as well. Women, children, teens and all of the able men. You are going to need all the help possible. Oh and don't let the elementals get to you princess. I knew their grandfathers and it was the same old crap. Against a woman, me on the other hand I chose you because you showed the greatest qualities. Your stronger then your brother." he smiled at me.

I always looked up to Shane because of his position, how he handled danger, how he was so brave and protective. I don't know how many times he would get into a fight just to protect me from bully's. Same with Thomas, they were both there for me as we grew up. I wanted to be like him more then anything.

"Bu.. but, he was a beta grandfather. He was stronger then me I thought." I voiced my thoughts. 

"Yes he was a Beta but you my dear were destind to be a Luna, and because of your air elemental qualitites, you will become a powerful woman once you mate with Cain. This will be hard on you, but I know you will succeed. I have to go now my princess, just remember that you are stronger then you realise. Remember what I have told you and I will be back to visit in your dreams later on. Before the battle." he gave me another hug, and kissed my forehead.

"Thank you grandfather, I love you." I hugged him harder as tears started to fall.

"I love you to my princess, and don't worry over Shane. He is watching over Savannah and Annabel, as well as you my dear. He sends his love to you all." his voice started getting softer as my vision started to get fuzzy again and I fall to the ground. The darnkess consumes me.

I open my eyes quickly and try to focus. I am still in the back of Tylers truck, sitting on Cain's lap. Cain is fast asleep, and so is Cody. I even out my breathing and sigh heavily.

"Everything ok Kat?" Pat asks from the front seat. He looks confused, I just smile and nod. I don't want to wake up Cain.

"Are you sure? You were mumbling in your sleep. It was random and scattered. You mentioned Shane, beta, and called out asking who some one was." Pat said, he was concerned about me.

"I'm fine I promise. I just had a dream that my great grandfather, Charleston Montgomery visited me. He warned me of some things that I need to get done, then told me that my brother is happy and watching over me, Savannah and Annabel." I smiled trying to reassure him I was fine.

"Who is Charleston Montgomery? That name sounds familiar to me." Tyler asked.

"My great grandfather, he was the previous air elemental. He said he knew your grandfathers as well." I replied. I figured they knew my grandfather.

"Woah, that is extremely creepy. Pat, Cody and I all had the same dream. Our grandfathers came to us and told us some important things, warning about the fight and the prophecy." Tyler said. I was shocked that he shared that kind of information with me, seeing as I am a woman and he is the one that is the most against believing that I can handle things. He still thinks that I need Cain by my side to be any use to him or anyone.

"We are almost at the edge of Cain's territory. Please wake him up so he can let someone know we are here. I don't feel like being attacked." Pat motioned for me to do it now.

I turned my head and watched Cain breathe in and breathe out. He looked so peaceful while he slept. He was lightly breathing through his mouth, that gave me an evil idea. I smiled to my self and brought my fingers lightly up to his face, I lightly drug my finger tips accross his nose. He wiggled his nose and brought his hand up to itch it. I supressed a giggle, once he settled in I proceeded to do it again. Yet again his hand came and rubbed his nose. I did this about three times before his hand finally grabbed my wrist and his eyes opened ever slowly. 

I smiled sweetly at him, he had a smirk on his face as he used his other hand to tickle my sides. I didn't think I was very ticklish, but it turns out he knew the exact place to get. I started to squirm in his arms, as his hand tightened around my wrists, holding my hands in place.

"C..CAI...CAIN STOOOP!" I squealed out as I wriggled around trying to make his hand stop his assault on my sides. My one foot ended up kicking the back of the front seat, the other kicked Cody in the knee, which woke him up and instantlly he was alert and ready to fight. He was so suprised that he accidentaly fired off some of his water powers at me and Cain.

That got Cain's attention and he stopped tickling me. Tyler and Pat started laughing so hard as Tyler pulled the truck over to the side of the road. Cody was still looking around the truck fully confused while Cain and I were both soaked head to toe from his water attack. Cain started laughing at me, I frowned and let out a harumph. I did not like being wet, not unless I was swimming which was someting I really enjoyed doing.

"That is the funniest thing I have ever seen." Pat said while cracking up. His face was red from laughing so hard. "Yo.. you... you look like a drowned cat, Kat." he got out between laughing and weezing.

I did not find that funny, but everyones laughter was infectious. By now Cody had realised what was going on and was full out laughing. Eventually I lost my pissed off expression and started laughing with everyone else. We were all laughing so hard we didn't notice the three blacked out linkin navigators pulled up and had us boxed in.

There was a knock on Tyler's window, which got everyone's attention and the tension in the truck grew to be almost unbearable. Tyler rolled his window down and gave the man standing in front of him a hard look.

"What is your business here?" the man standing next to the truck asked in an irritated tone. I could tell that the man was a wearwolf as well. 

Cain rolled the rear window down, "Stand down Carter, they are all with me." Cain spoke sternly.

Carter looked from Cain to Tyler then back, he bowed his head in respect. "Alpha Cain." and with that he went back to the navigator that was parked infront of us.

"Follow Carter and he will lead us to the pack house." Cain told Tyler as he rolled up the window.

Just like that the bonding that was happening in the vehicle stopped. Everyone was silent the rest of the trip, while I sat on Cain's lap soaked. I snuggled into his chest and took a big whiff of his scent to relax my nerves. The closer we got to the mansion, the more nervous I became. I wasn't sure what his pack was going to think of me, I was worried if they would partake in the war that was coming, and I was even more scared that they wouldn't accept me and my air power.
