**Cain POV**

There was some light coming through the window of the hospital room, not a bright light which means that it is early in the morning. Plus the alarm clock beside the bed says it is only 6:30 am. I lay there looking at the beautiful woman beside me sound asleep. She is even more beautiful when she is sleeping. Stress free, content and she looks like an angel. I can't believe she is mine, forever. I will do anything and everything in my power to make her happy.

"You mean WE will do anything and everything to make her happy right?" my wolf states.

"Yes of course I mean we will. Isn't she spectacular? So innocent yet smart, she is caring and strong, the perfect combination." I admire her face as she sleeps.

There is a soft knock on the door and I look up to see the doctor standing in the doorway. I have come to admire this man and his passion for medicine. When I woke up from the chemical induced coma before he took me off the drugs he was concerned for my health. Its not every day that someone wakes from something like that.

"Good morning Alpha Cain, how was your night?" the doctor bows to my title while whispering so he doesn't wake Kat.

"I slept wonderful thank you for asking doctor. I no longer feel the effects of any wounds. Am I able to leave the hospital now?" I am hopeful because my wolf is anxious to be let out for a run, and I want to see Kat's wolf.

"I just have a couple tests to run then we will determine if you are healthy enough to be released. But, maybe we should do those tests in the other room, I wouldn't want to wake up your mate." he smiled and motioned to the hallway.

"Its ok doctor, I'm awake already and really should go have a shower before breakfast." Kat wakes up and her voice is husky with sleep. She smiled, kissed my cheek and stumbled sleepily out of the room.

"Ok, these tests won't take long." Doctor Swanson reasured me. He listened to my heart to make sure it was beating strong, made sure my blood pressure was normal, tested my reflexes and did some blood tests. 

"That's it?" I asked. Those few tests took ten minutes, I wasn't sure why but I was anxious to get to Kat. Something felt off.

"Yes, your are healthy. If possible you are stronger then you were before, thats judging by the charts from your pack doctor." he laughed at his own joke. "Alright, I will send someone in with your change of clothes. Leave the hospital gown on the bed when you leave and as soon as you are changed you are free to go." he smiled, finished writing on his clip board and left.

After a quick shower, I got dressed and decided first stop was Kat. I thought of her beautiful face, her perfect pink lips and that beautiful body. My wolf was restless, which caught my attention. I mind linked Kat, "Hey baby, where are you? I'm finally released from the doctors."

"Oh god hun, I don't know where I am! Someone grabbed me as I was on my way to my room to shower and he is dragging me down different hall ways! I am so lost if I could get away I would get lost. Help me please!" She sounded so scared.

As fast as I could go I ran to Alpha Jason's office. I didn't even knock as I barged in and almost knocked down the door. "Jason, someone has Kat.. *ghasp* she doesn't know where she is... *ghasp* or who she is with! *ghasp* Find her!" I got out between gasps.

"I'm on it." was Jason's immediate reply. I walked in and sat on one of the two chairs infront of his desk and waited to hear what he could find.

**Cat POV*

I could hear voices in the room with me, it took me a couple minutes of listening to realise it was Cain and Doctor Swanson.

"I slept wonderful thank you for asking doctor. I no longer feel the effects of any wounds. Am I able to leave the hospital now?" I could hear Cain whispering to the doctor.

"I just have a couple tests to run then we will determine if you are healthy enough to be released. But, maybe we should do those tests in the other room, I wouldn't want to wake up your mate."  Doctor Swanson responded in a whisper as well.

I smile at how thoughtful they were being. I guess its time to let them know I am awake already. "Its ok doctor, I'm awake already and really should go have a shower before breakfast." I state still half asleep. I get up and walk out of the room, well more stumble because like I said, I'm still half asleep.

I start making my way towards the room I was using while waiting for Cain to be released. It was a fair way away from the room Cain was in, I went up two flights of stairs and started going down a hallway. Suddenly I felt eyes watching me, I wasn't sure where they were but I knew someone was near.

"Can you sense anyone around us?" I ask my wolf, my worry ringing clearly through my body.

"Some one powerful is near but I don't know who it is. The power is vaugely familiar but I don't know where its coming from." I could feel how uneasy she felt, it was mirroring my own feelings.

I block out my wolf trying to figure out where this person is, and why my wolf feels familiarity with this power. Before I could register what was going on, something, no wait SOMEONE walked up behind me. I didn't even get a chance to scream when tape went around my mouth and my hads were cuffed behind my back. All within seconds of eachother. Who ever did this was fast, and I mean faster then a wearwolf.

Because this person came from behind I couldn't get a scent, they started pushing me foreword and holy hell were they strong. No matter how much I fought they kept me moving forword with minimal effort. I finally stopped struggling and walked. 

Great, I am getting kidnapped AGAIN, I thought sarcastically to myself. Just what I need after almost getting the people I love and care for killed the first time. Why can't people leave me alone, like seriously, I have a mate I need to get to know AND a baby niece to spend time with.

 "Hey baby, where are you? I'm finally released from the doctors." Cain asked through our mind link, well now why didn't I think of linking him when I felt uneasy? Because some times i'm not that bright thats why.

"Oh god hun, I don't know where I am! Someone grabbed me as I was on my way to my room to shower and he is dragging me down different hall ways! I am so lost if I could get away I would get lost. Help me please!"  I tried not to sound scared but I failed miserably.

After walking through at leas a dozen hall ways and up two differnt stair caises that weren't as elegant as the main stairs that the pack uses, we reached an old style door. The hall way leading here was dusty and didn't look like anyone uses them. An arm reaches from behind me and opens the door then pushes me through.

I look around the room and there are sheets covering the furnature in the room, the windows are all closed and boarded up, there is dust every where and the room smells musty and unused. It almost looks like a part that was either abandoned or forgotten about. Great that means I will be murdered and no one will know where my body went. That makes me feel better. I frown at that thought, wait why haven't they made a move to kill me yet?

I turn around to face the person who brought me here and no one was there. I scan the room once more and no one is around. I try and catch a scent but there is none but mine. Ok am I going crazy? I know for a fact that some one brought me here, I defenately didn't imagine that.

I wiggle my hands to try and break free from the handcuffs holding my wrists together and they snapped easily thanks to my wearwolf strength. Then I took off the tape and holy shit did it ever hurt. I guess that's one way to wax that unwanted hair off my top lip. Now that I was free I slowly walked farther into the room. I could feel eyes burning holes into me, more then one person was here but I couldn't tell where they were coming from.

Getting a better look around the room it looked like a library. Two walls were made into book shelves, as in books were lined up from three feet from the floor all the way up to the roof. There were ladders on wheels so you could climb and look for books at the same time. It looked like a love seat, long couch and two recliner chairs covered with white sheets. There was even a giant oak desk with a computer chair under the window under the back wall. 

I walk over to the desk and look out the window, I was really high up. Must be the top floor of the house, which is like the fifth or sixth floor. I'm guessing the sixth floor because the fifth floor is where the Alpha and Beta sleep.

As I turn around I notice some papers with writing on them sitting on the desk, my curiousity got the best of me and I walk over and sit down. Shifting through the papers, one sentence catches my attention. 'First ever female elemental, the most powerful one yet.' Hmm, that really has me curious.

"Do you know if this is referring to us?" I question my wolf.

"Of course you idiot! I swear some days you are so oblivious." she snapped back in a 'duh' tone.

"Woah, what has your tail in a twist? I just asked a question." I retaliated.

My wolf blocked me after that, I wonder who pissed in her cereal this morning. I just continued reading the papers on the desk. After skimming through them I came to the conclusion that my family had been in control of the air element for as long as recorded. The paper said that records go back centuries and my blood line is pure. But the prophesy states that someone unique will hold the powers one day, a female. She will be the first female elemental, and the most powerful one yet. It is said that there is going to be a war between witches and wearwolves, and that the elementals are going to be the key to either the wearwolves success, or their failure. Only the female air elemental can determine the fate of the wearwolf race.

Woah nothing like a lot of pressure put on me. I am the key to the wearwolf race living on or being wiped out. Joy. Note the sarcasm. Before I could get to wrapped up in my thoughts I sensed movement accross the room, I looked up to see a man in olden time clothes. His skin is pale and the air around him is freezing cold.

"Vampire!" growled my wolf.

I let out a warning growl, the vampire hissed at me. "I mean you no harm." he said bowing his head.

"Who are you? Why are you here? Were you the one who brought me here? Why can't I smell you?" I asked all those questions at once in  a rushed breath.

He smiled, his fangs clearly visible when he did so. I could hear him laugh lightly under his breath. I'm assuming from my assult of questions.

"You don't need to know my name, but you did need to read those papers. Take them to the other elementals and train. We will meet again my precious, but not until the time is right. Take care, and stand up for your self. See you again my precious." and with a toothy grin he was gone in the blink of an eye. I could scarcely see three flashes of white leave out the door.

What did he mean by 'we will meet again but not until the time is right'? He never did answer any of my questions. Getting creeped out by the library, I gathered up the papers and left the room. Slowly following hallway after hallway I come to a set of stairs. Eventually I make it down the main floor. I feel relief wash over my whole body and my whole body relaxes at being safe.

I decide I need that shower and to get into real clothes before taking these papers to the other elementals, so instead of going to Alpha Jason's office I head down the grand hallway and go to my room.

After my shower, I towel dried my hair and threw on a pair of jean capri's and a plain white tank top. Slipping on my flip flops, I grab the papers and fold them up putting them into my back pocket. I grab my phone and see I have missed eighteen phone calls from Cain and thirty texts. Oh snap I forgot to let him know i'm safe. He is probably going nuts!

"Hun, I am ok. I found my way back down. I just got out of the shower where are you?" I liknked him.

"Kat! Oh my god I am so glad your safe. Alpha Jason sent almost everyone in the pack searching every nook and cranny in the pack house for you. We were even searching the woods around the house. Where were you baby? I was so worried and I couldn't get through the mind link to you. I couldn't even feel our bond. I was so scared." he whispered that last part. Fear of losing me rang clearly through our link.

"I'm so sorry hun. I didn't know what exactly happened, but I need to speak to the other elementals. But first I need food i'm hungry." as if on cue my stomach growled loudly.

"Ilet everyone know your safe and I will meet you in the kitchen to discuss this more. Baby, I hope its not to early to say this but, I.. I love you Kat." I could feel his nervousness in his voice.

"No, its not. I love you to hun. See you in the kitchen." I smiled at how great I felt after telling him those three magical words.

**** Ok, so I had thought of continuing, but then I couldn't leave you wondering WTF? Hehe! I know I know, that was mean of me, but to make it up to you I will try and upload again in a couple days tops! You know the drill, VOTE AND COMMENT!!
