After a delicious meal of BBQ steak, baked potatoes, cesar salad and some mixed veggies I was so full I almost had to be rolled out of the dining room.

Sitting at the table with Shane, Savannah, Thomas and Trisha made me feel kind of awkward and sad. I was turning 20 in a few days and I still haven't found my mate. The prophecy states that as soon as a wolf turns 18 they are capable of finding their mates. Guess mine is so far away that I doubt I will ever met him.

"Don't think like that Kat. We will find him one day, then we will be happy." My wolf said trying to hide how depressed she was.

"It's hard not to be bothered when everyone else has their mates and here we sit. The odd man out, err I mean odd woman out." I sighed.

"Is everything ok Sissy?" Shane asks very concerned.

"Yeah just thinking it's been a long day. I actually wouldn't mind having a shower either." I gave everyone a smile even if it didn't reach my eyes.

"I can show you too your room. You have a bathroom attached to your room so you can shower. Are you to tired to watch a movie tonight?" Trisha said with a bright smile. You could tell she was excited as she sat waiting me to answer her.

"Oh hell yeah I'm up for a couple movies, as long as they aren't sappy or romance." I can't stand those types of movies. I much prefer action or comedy, but my favourites are horror and slasher flicks.

"I think that can be arranged. Come on I will show you too your room." Trisha laughed and stood up.

I stood up and followed her out of the dining room, down a hallway, up two sets of stairs, around a couple corners,  down another hallway and we finally stopped at a red door. It was the only red door down this way. I had noticed on the walk to my room that they had many different colored doors. As I sat there starting at the door Trisha spoke my exact thoughts.

"The doors are color coded to make it easier for out guests to find which room is theirs."  she pushes open the door and walks away as I slowly walk in taking in how beautiful this room was.

It reminded me of a room fit for a princess. The bed was king size, the bedding was a crystal blue shade, with navy blue pillow cases. Beautiful oak night stands on both sides of the bed, a desk with a flat screen mounted on the wall above it. The flooring was hard wood with small carpets around the bed.

The bathroom was amazing. A waterfall shower big enough for ten adults, a four person Jacuzzi tub, one of those fancy energy efficient toilets. It was all breath taking.

Finally getting my thoughts back to wanting a shower I close the bedroom door, pull out my favorite jammys and head to the bathroom. I let the hot water take away my negative thoughts, my heart ache and everything bothering me. After a good scrub I get out and wrap my body and hair in towels.  Walking into my room I pull on my bra and panties, then decide I want some music.

Putting my I pod into the dock beside my bed I turn on my favorite song, shake it by the lacs, and start doing exactly that, shaking it all over my room.

Having as much fun dancing as I was, of course I didn't notice the three people who had opened my door to peek inside. Doing some kind of shake and spin combination I end up tripping on my own feet and falling onto the floor on my butt.

I could hear snickering and shushing which brought my attention to the door, and the three guys standing there trying so hard not to laugh.

"What the.... who the.... Oh f**k!" I finally realised I'm only in my under wear. I got up as fast as possible and slam the door shut. Rush back to the bed and throw on my fuzzy shorts and tank top. I walk back to the door and open it only to find they are still standing there.

"What are you waiting for an encore or something?" I ask with a bit of an attitude looking at all three of the guys. The first guy is the biggest built and the tallest. Beautiful green eyes, and short dirty blonde hair.  Looks like he broke his nose a few times too.

The other two you can clearly tell are twins.  Both have the same dark brown eyes, same facial features, same medium build and same tall height. The only way to tell them apart was their hair. One had black hair with a little blue tinge to it, and the other had sandy brown hair.

They all just stared at me with that deer in the head lights look. They knew they had been caught yet couldn't run. Finally the biggest man spoke.

"Hi, my name is Marcus and this is Cruze," he points to the one with black hair, "and his brother Knox." The twins smile and extend their hands as if they didn't just get caught watching me in my underwear.

"I'm Kat, Beta Shane's sister." I said as I gave them a smirk. their hands dropped and the looks on their face was priceless. It went from shock to fear then to a look that I can only explain as desperation.

"P.. p.. please forgive us for spying. W.. w.. we didn't know." Knox choked out.

I smiled and then laughed at them. They all had a confused look on their faces. It was so cute. I looked both ways down the hall way then grabbed all three and pulled them into my room. I don't know why but I felt an instant trust and bond with them.

"Since you all like to watch me dance, your going to dance with me." I said with an evil grin as I walked over to my I pod. Scrolling through my list I come to dirt road communion by Chase Rice and started dancing.

No one else was dancing with me, they were still in a state of shock. So me being the kind of person I was, went behind them one by one and grabbed their hips and started moving their bodies to the beat until they started dancing on their own accord.

All four of us were dancing having a blast when the song changed and maneater by Nelly Fertado came on. We continued dancing oblivious to our surroundings when Marcus froze.

All of a sudden I was hit with a disgusting scent. It smelled like garbage mixed with B.O. We all looked to the door to find rogues standing casually watching us.

Instinctively Knox, Cruze and Marcus surrounded me productively. All three were growling a warning now.

"Now now boys. No need to be so hostile." The first rouge said with a evil smirk.

The others behind him laughed at his comment like he had made a joke only they understood.

The man continued taking when no one moved or responded. "We were just sent here to deliver a message to this beautiful young lady." I almost gagged at that comment.

"The Alpha is on his way with Kat, We won't let anything happen to you." Knox whispered to me.

"We will be gone before they get here pup!" the rouge growled out between gritted teeth. His eyes going pitch black telling he was pissed off. "My Alpha will have you as his queen and there is NOTHING this pack will be able to do to stop us princess. We will be back for you when it is time." 

With that the rouges all ran away and like magic they disappeared like he said. It didn't take long and Alpha Thomas and my brother came barging into the room. Cruze helped me over to sit on the bed with an arm around my shoulders for comfort.

Knox went and turned down the music which was now blasting big truck by mud digger.

"Kitty kat are you ok?" Thomas asked coming closer. I just stared at the floor. I didn't know what to say.

"What did they want?" demanded Chase to no one in particular. More to who ever would answer him.

"They said that their Alpha, the king of rouges I'm assuming, wanted Kat to be his mate and they would be back when it was time." Marcus responded to him with a grim look on his face. Shane let out a vicious growl.

"I won't let that happen Sissy, I promise as Beta of the Moon Stone Pack, and as your big brother. They won't get any whet near you." he started pacing. He always paced when he was mad.

Then the realization of what happened hit me. I felt panicked and claustrophobic all of a sudden and got up and ran. I managed my way through the maze of a mansion, out the front door and shifted mid jump. My paws hit the ground and I was gone.

I could feel that some one was following me as I ran through the forest surrounding the house, it was someone familiar so I didn't mind. I ran hard and fast until I came upon the human town that was an hour drive from the pack house.

Keeping to the shadows I found some clothes that would fit on a clothes line. I shifted back to my human form and put them on quickly moving to the main street. I found an alley and crawled stairs to the roof. By now it was dark out and I had to rely on my wolf senses.

"Let me know if you sense something. After those rogues I don't know what to think." I said to my wolf.

"I am on high alert. if they come back they will wish they were dead when I finish with them." she snarled the thought of them near us. 

Jumping from roof top to roof top I couldn't help but have the feeling of being watched. I crouch down where I am,  calming my breathing and releasing my wolf enough so I can see better in the dark. It took a minute for me to register, but there was a bird at the edge of the building. Now I feel silly. Laughing to my self for how paranoid I was being I stood up and went to jump onto the next building when BAM I was tackled to the ground.

"MINE" was growled out and that was all I heard while the darkness consumed me and just like that I blacked out.
