**Cain POV**

I can't believe she did that. But she didn't reject me. She said to trust her. Did that mean she had a plan? I've been thrown in the cells with everyone else. But no one shares a cell so it's lonely. I can't hear anything except when the guards come check on us.

"We need to get out of these dam cells!" my wolf paced in my head.

"I can't do anything, you know that. These silver chains are not only taking my power and strength, but I can't even shift." I was out of options.

"I don't care, We will figure something out. We just have to. Our mate depends on it." my wolf was determined, I'll give him that.

I heard the door open and three men came down the stairs.

"Alpha Voss had gone to far with this. I wish he wasn't Alpha. But no one is strong enough to challenge him." the one guard said. I closed my eyes and slowed my breathing so they would think I was sleeping.

"Yeah I know but what can we do? He killed Alpha Charles and took power. We have no choice but to listen." guard number two spoke.

"It makes me want to let the prisoners go just so they will kill him. The only problem with that is all the rogues that joined with Alpha Voss. One of them will continue to misuse the power." guard number one confessed.

The two men grew silent for a moment. They were mind linking. They stood still for a couple minutes before leaving the cells without another word.

I tried mind linking with Kat again but she was shutting me out. Every since she gave her self up she has been ignoring me. It hurts and upsets both me and my wolf. I just have to come through for her and for our future.

**Synth POV**

After forty five minutes of discussing nothing important with a neighboring Alpha I was glad to be going back to my kitten. Just the thought of her in my bed made me happy.

"Mark her. Get rid of that dam mate bond. She is ours." my wolf growled.

He was pissed off when that man marked Kat. She is ours and only ours. So my wolf is pushing harder and harder for the mating process to be finished. The only problem is we need to establish our own personal connection before going to far. Me and Kat, and both of our wolves.

I told my third in command that he was being promoted to my beta and I appointed another man my third in command before going back up stairs to my room.

I opened the door expecting to see my beautiful mate sitting on our bed but she wasn't. I could hear the shower running. I smiled to myself thinking I should go join her.

Taking off my shirt I open the bathroom door, but I don't see anyone. I was about to turn and yell at the guards when I heard her sob. I opened the shower curtain and she was sitting on the ground with her knees pulled up to get chest crying. The water was ice cold. She must have been in here the while time I was gone.

S*it, I turn off the water and grab the towel wrapping it around her body. I pick her up bridal style and carry her back into our bedroom. She isn't even registering me as I carry her to the bed.

I set her down on the bed and sat behind her. Gently I brushed out her beautiful blonde hair as good as I could. Then I went into her dresser I had filled with clothes for her and pulled out a pair of warm sweat pants. I found the other clothes I picked for her and went back to the bed.

She still hasn't moved and her crying has calmed down. Now all she has are tears falling down her beautiful face. I stood her up and she just kept starting at nothing. Drying off her body and putting clothes on her didn't even faze her. Now I was concerned. She would have  freaked if I saw her naked let alone dress her.

"Doctor come to my room now. It's an emergency." I called through the pack link.

"Yes Alpha Voss." he replied.

Something wasn't right with Kat and before we could work on our relationship I need to fix it. I laid her down and covered her up with three blankets to try and warm her up. Before I had a chance to crawl in with her there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." I called knowing it was the doctor.

"Alpha. " the doctor bowed his head out of respect. "What seems to be the problem?"

"My mate. Something is wrong. I have some work to attend to, please come to me one your done checking her over please."

"Of course Alpha Voss. I will find you as soon as I'm done." the doctor bowed his head again and reached for his bag.

I stepped out of the room to find Kats two guards where they belong. They were my two best fighters and some how my beautiful mate kept getting the best of them. I smiled to my self, she will make the perfect Luna. I went to my office to do some paper work. I was thinking of my future, I mean our future, I smiled at that thought.

**** Sorry to stop there but today is going to be busy for me. Have two hours to do banking and shopping then shower and get ready for work and take care of my five year old.
