I woke up to the feeling of being watched. I slowly opened my eyes to see a pair of brown eyes staring back at me.

"Good morning kitten. How was your night?" Synth asked in a deep sexy voice.

"Good." was all I could respond with. I was still sleepy and didn't really want to get up.  But then my stomach protested at the thought of going back to sleep.

"I see your hungry. We can shower then go down for breakfast. I will have one of the pack members bring you a change of clothes." he got out of bed and pulled me with him.

"I can't shower with you." I was in shock. He wasn't serious was he? I looked at his face and saw no traces of him joking.

"Why not? Soon we will be mated and I will know every delicious inch of your beautiful body as will you know mine." he said seductively, as he placed small kisses along my jaw, working his way down my neck to that soft spot between the neck and shoulder.

I shuttered at the burning sensation of him kissing that spot. It hurt because he wasn't my mate. As if he read my thoughts he stopped and uncuffed us.

"You have ten minutes, if your not out by then I well be coming in. Oh and you better not try escaping again. I have guards out every window. Consider this the first step of trust."  he seemed a bit upset but did as he promised.

I stripped off the extra large t shirt once I closed the bathroom door and jumped in the shower. I quickly scrubbed my body and washed my hair. Feeling better I shut off the water and stepped out. I found a clean towel and wrapped my hair. As I was searching for a second towel to cover my body the door opened and Synth was standing there starting at me with a smirk on his face.

"I wanna slap that smirk off his disgusting face!" my wolf growled

I smiled at that thought. So I thought I would torture him. I walked out into the bedroom naked.

I walked to the bed and got dressed in the jeans and tank top that were laid out. I sat on the bed and noticed that Synth was waiting for me.

"I showered in the spare room while you were busy." he explained while walking towards me with the hand cuffs. "Now we can go eat kitten." he hand cuffed us together and pulled me to his side.

We walked down the hallway, down the stairs and then finally into the dining room. Everyone bowed their heads and greeted us as Alpha and Luna.

We sat down and were immediately interrupted. Vince, the Beta came in and whispered something in Synths ear. I couldn't catch all of it but I did hear 'getting closer' and 'Alpha Thomas'. I tried to act like I didn't hear anything but my heart fluttered at the thought that they would find me and I would be away from this psycho.

Without saying any thing Synth picked me up and carried me back to the bed room. Uncuffed him self, cuffed me to the bed and left.

My mind went into overdrive. If Thomas is close enough to worry Synth, then maybe if I can escape while he is occupied I might be able to find Thomas or Shane. Maybe I will even find Cain. My heart ached at the thought of Cain. I wanted to be near him, to hold him, and to feel complete again.

With my mind made up, I started searching for something to pick the lock with. Wait what am I thinking? I'm a wolf, I tired and broke the dam cuffs, easily I might add. I'm such a dummy I thought to my self.

I went to the window and sure enough, guards. I try the bathroom window again and more guards. F**k now what do I do.

"Figure a way to get Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum in the room and knock them out." My wolf suggested.

Hmm not a bad idea. I found a heavy, hard wood baseball bat. An evil smile spread onto my face and I knew what I was going to do!

I tip toed as lightly as possible and hid beside the door. I'm going to call for the guards pretending I have to pee and when they open the door  I'm going to smash them over the head.

"Umm guards. Can you please come help me. I need to use the bathroom and the Alpha cuffed me to the bed. Please I don't think I can hold it." I tried to sound desperate.

It must have been very convincing because right away Tweedle Dee walked in. But he was alone. Crap, what can I do to get them both inside.

"Sh*t she is gone!" Tweedle Dee called to his partner.

"What! How? We have been here the whole time!" Tweedle Dum voiced out as he came into the room as well.

Before they had a chance to do anything I swung the bat and connected with both their heads, knocking them both unconscious. I did a small victory dance before sneaking into the hall.

Making my way as stealthy as possible, I decided to head towards Synths office. Maybe I could figure out which way to run. Now that I have my wolf back, I will be able to out run the rogues. My wolf is faster then any wolf I have come across yet.

Finding the office I can hear Vince and Synth discussing where to post more men.

"We need more men towards the back yard. At the rate they are traveling they will be in the yard within the hour. They have gotten through the...." that's all I needed to hear. I continued on my way through the house, thankful that I haven't met any one wandering around.

I sneak into the kitchen, then out the patio door. Making sure the the coast is clear I run to the bushes. Stripping out of my clothes, I immediately shift, grab the clothes and take of running.

I kept running as fast as my wolf could go. I ran for maybe five minutes before I could hear paws hitting the ground. Oh s**t they have caught up to me. I push my wolf faster and harder then ever before.

Before I know it, I ran into a clearing. There was a group of eight wolves. Right away I sense my mate. He smells me and turns around shifting in the process.

"Kat? Is it really you? Oh baby come here quick. Shift here, We will cover you." I can hear the range of emotions in his voice. Happiness, fear, relief and love all flow through his every word, and through his eyes.

I walked over and Cain wraps his arms around my neck and kisses my muzzle. I shift in the middle of the wolves,  and throw on the clothes quickly.

Thomas and Shane shifted and pulled on a pair of shorts. Soon the three of us were hugging each other like our lives depended on it. Cain came up to us and pulled me into his arms and kissed me. He kissed me like I was the only person in that clearing.

The kiss was short lived because all of the wolves surrounding us started growling and were on edge. Cain pulled me behind him, Thomas and Shane stepped on either side of me surrounding me, protecting me.

Suddenly a good fifty wolves came out of the woods and surrounded us. Then the man of my nightmares casually walks into the circle of his wolves, he doesn't even seem worried.

"Well now, I see you have managed to get away yet again my little kitten. I'm done playing your little game. When we get back I will teach you a lesson you well never forget. You will obey me!" Synth was mad but he wasn't showing any emotion.

At his words Cain tensed up. I knew every man and wolf in this circle would give their life for me. I didn't like the thought of anyone losing their life over me, but I didn't want to be back with that man.

Getting an idea, I take Cain's hand and point to my neck. I'm not in view of Synth so he doesn't know what I'm doing. I point to Cain then to my neck then I tap his and my foreheads. Finally Cain clues in and takes me into his arms and marks me. Binding us together and also making it so we can mind link with each other.

The pain was so intense I let out a small whimper, this made Synth realise what was happening and he waisted no time in starting the attack. Shane and Thomas shifted and blocked us so Cain could finish the marking process. The pain turned to pleasure and Cain removed his teeth from my skin and licked the wound closed. We were now bound to either and one step closer to being fully mated.

Just as I was getting lost in those dreamy orange eyes, there was a vicious roar let out from our left, and I knew that instant that this would not end well.

**** Aaaannnndddd it's another cliffhanger! Sorry everyone but I love me some cliffhangers! Muhahaha! Any whoo, what do you figure will happen? I'd love to hear what you all think.
