~No One's p.o.v~

It had been a few days after the incident. Apollo had been really upset about having to put her own father to rest. She didn't want to get out of bed and face the new day. She wanted to hide and shut everyone out.

Everyone in Company 8 was worried about her, but they were not as worried as Carter was.

~Carter's p.o.v~

I walked to Apollo's room with breakfast for her. I know she hasn't been super happy these last few days and I can understand why.

"Apollo?" I knocked on her door.

".."

"I brought you breakfast, hun. May I come in?"

"... Sure.." I heard her whisper out.

I walked into her room and closed the door. My heart ached for what I see.

Apollo laying in her bed with her blankets on her. Her haor was down and her eyes were red from crying. She looked so sad and all I wanted to do was make her happy and see her smile again.

I placed the bowl of oatmeal with berries in her lap when she sat up.

"I know it hurts honey.. I can only imagine what you are going through." I say softly as I hugged her.

"Listen after you finish eating and getting cleaned up, Captain Obi is letting you, me, Iris, Maki, and Tamaki go out today. To help you feel better. How does that sound?"

I see her look up at me and give a nod before going back to eat. I turned to leave, but stopped when I heard her voice.

"Thank you, Carter..."

I smiled and left her room.

~Apollo's p.o.v ~

I looked at the bowl of oatmeal in my lap as I took a small bite. I really miss my dad, but I know he's in peace with my mom up above. I looked over to my dresser as something sparkles from the sunlight. I recognize it as my parents' wedding rings.

I climbed out of bed as I walked over to them. I picked them up to look closely at what was inscribed on them.

"To my beautiful song bird..." I smiled as I remembered how mom used to sing every morning.

"To my handsome soldier.." The memories of my dad showing us the medals he received for fighting in the war and the stories he would tell all come back to me.

I gently kissed both rings before putting them on a piece of leather cord I cut from my spool. I wrap it around my neck and went to get freshened up for the day.

~Obi's p.o v ~

"Alright I want you four to help Apollo feel better. Shinra and Arthur will go with you just because. Make sure they do not get hurt. And you two better not fight each other got that?!"

I watches both males salute and give responses before going to put on regular clothes.

"Carter make sure they don't get into any trouble and try to help Apollo, ok?"

"I will make sure, Captain." She said while smiling at me.

I see my team dressed in regular clothes and non uniforms.

I see them all glance over to Apollo who was wearing her parents rings around her neck.

I give Maki the keys to our back up truck as they all head out.

"Have fun!" I said while waving as they drive off.

~Meanwhile...~

~Takeru's p.o.v~

I was happy to have a day off after the intense training I had with my fellow soldiers. Though I know I didn't do much because of my fear of fire.

"Let's hope nothing happens while I'm out and about.." I whispered softly then stopped when I see a truck pull up and park.

A smile appeared on my face as I see the soldiers of Company 8 but I see some new faces. I heard about company 8 getting some new soldiers, but they didn't say when.

"Okay you two! Stop fighting! We're out today to help Apollo?" I heard Maki say to Shinra and Arthur.

"Apollo..?"

I looked amongst them to see who was this Apollo they were talking about.

My heart stopped when I saw her. I felt my cheeks heat up like when I had a crush on Tamaki.

She looked so beautiful... I had never seen someone like her before.

I watched them lead off in the different direction then I headed off on my own.

~Apollo's p.o.v~

I looked at the different shops we passed. Nothing really caught my eye, until I heard Tamaki squeak excitedly.

"You have to see this store, Apollo! Its so cute!" She said as she along with the other girls dragged me inside.

I walked in and saw so many different costumes, hat, etc.

I watched everyone look around as I walked over to some hats and funny looking clothes.

I looked over to the others as they were dressed in funny costumes which caused me to smile.

I smiled as I tried on some clothes too and joined in on the fun.

~No One's p.o.v~

Shirna takes a picture of the group as they all smiled and laughed.

Everyone soon started taking the groups to different shops to see what they had to offer.

Shinra and Arthut did argue a bit, but Carter managed to control them and make them behave.

Soon Apollo started to feel happy again and was glad to have such great friends like them.

As they looked around, Apollo got away from the group and started to wander around herself.

She soon got lost in the hustle and bustle of shops and people going in different directions.

~Apollo's p.o.v~

I looked around for my friends, but didn't see them.

I started to remember the last store we went to before I left the group, but I couldn't remember.

"Maybe it was this way.. No.. Maybe this way."

I took off running in that direction, but soon bumped into someone and fell back. I got up and quickly caught his items before they fell or broke.

"I'm so sorry, sir. Let m--!" I stopped dead in my sentence as I looked at him.

"Its al.." He blushed also as he looked at me too.

"Wow..." We both said at the same time as our cheeks started to turn red.

"Are you okay? Here let me help." He said softly as he gently took the items from my arms.

I blushed more from how close he was to me as I see him blush too.

"Sorry about running into you... I hot lost and I was trying to retrace my steps."

"Well I can help you find your friends. My name is Takeru Noto. Its nice to meet you."

I watched him offer his hand to me as I gently took it to shake his hand.

"My name is Apollo Ogawa..."

All of a sudden, I felt a spark when out hands touched. I could tell that he felt it also.

What the two didn't know was that spark is going to lead to something beautiful later on....
