Personality| Alastair is an unusual character in the circus, appearing very calm and focused on and off the stage as well as very serious about his job as the animal handler, as it's pretty dangerous. He is unusual as he doesn't appear to be friendly at all not even to the audience of the show - he just wants to earn the money off them.
Alastair is also very sneaky and sly , almost like a snake, and often tries to steal and pickpocket to make up enough money to feed himself and the animals that he looks after.
Alastair does have a soft side as he cares truly about his circus family including his animals and will do anything for them, especially as they helped him in his time of need and will repay them for that.
