"alright good talk." Will muttered. he looked away, back towards the base, waiting for Ironhide. he heard the man cock his gun, but it sounded awful close. Will turned and froze, the gun was pointed at his face. "h-he-hey! hey man that ain't cool! point that thing down range!" Will shouted. the man smirked at him and pulled the trigger. Will brought his arms up quickly, but never felt the bullet, all he felt was a slight pain all over his body. he opened his eye's and peaked around his arms, Ironhide's holoform smirked at him.

"ha." he smirked. Will looked confused.

"wh-where did...." Will trailed.

"it was me. I disguised my holoform. gun was empty." Ironhide said. his holoform fizzled out and he walked over smirking. "but it worked." Ironhide said. Will looked down at himself.

"hey." Will said, looking himself over. "it says there's no danger, it wants to shut the protoform off, but it's not like... it's like this... I think it's like the Allspark saying it and not like my body." Will said.

"well try and keep it up. I'd like to see what it does." Ironhide said. Will could still see the Allspark markings all over his body, Ironhide's name still engraved in his wrist. Ironhide looked him over. "I don't see any weapons or anything." Ironhide muttered. Will's protoform retracted and he looked at his guardian.

"well... now what?" Will ask.

"next time you have one of those... vision things, ask questions. they want to talk about something else, redirect it back to you. ask about your protoform, the markings, the Allspark. ask how you can control your protoform and what it can do. you don't want to learn about what they want until you've learned about yourself." Ironhide said. Will nodded slightly and let his guardian pick him up.

"I want to know why your names on my wrist." Will said, looking at it.

"I've seen several names on you." Ironhide said as he carried him inside.

"yeah but they move and change. yours stays right there. it doesn't move like everything else." Will said. Ironhide frowned slightly.

"you could ask Prime. he knows more about the Allspark than anyone I know." Ironhide said. Will nodded slightly. "I can take you to him if you'd like." Ironhide added.

"not if he's busy." Will said. Ironhide was quiet.

"he says he's free. I'll drop you in his office." Ironhide said. he dropped Will off in Optimus' office and told the Prime to com him when they were done talking.

after a few hours, Ironhide was commed to come and get Will. the man looked confused and distant.

"what happened?" Ironhide ask looking at Optimus.

"we talked for a bit and he had another one of his staring fits. he's been like that since he woke back up. your name was the only thing I could get him to say, so I commed for you." Optimus said. Ironhide frowned slightly and scooped Will up gently, cradling him to his chest.

"alright. come on Will." Ironhide murmured, carrying him out. he lifted Will to his face plates. "hey what happened? are you alright Will?" Ironhide ask. Will mumbled his name quietly in an odd voice and Ironhide stopped in his tracks, turning immediately and heading for the medbay. he walked in and didn't say anything.

"Ironhide what are you-?" Ratchet tried. Ironhide plopped Will on a berth and stepped back. "whats wrong now?" Ratchet ask. Will was silent.

"he went to talk to Optimus a few hours ago. Optimus said that he had another vision thing and he's been like this ever since. he called me to come get him a few minutes ago because my name is the only thing he's said since he woke back up. he just stares." Ironhide said. Ratchet frowned and poked Will gently. the man did nothing.

"huh." Ratchet said. he frowned slightly, starting a few tests. he scanned Will with every test he could thing of. "brain scans show he's technically not out of the vision or whatever it is he does." Ratchet muttered.

"but his eye's are still brown. they're not blue like they usually are." Ironhide said. Ratchet frowned slightly.

"I'm gonna run a few more tests. you can just go wait over there if you want." Ratchet said. Ironhide nodded, sitting on a berth not too far away. he internally kept checking the time. it had only been five minutes when he noticed Ratchet stepping back, rather quickly.

"Ratch?" Ironhide ask.

"somethings happening." Ratchet said. Ironhide looked over at Will. the mans protoform was glowing in a blue light, looking much like a spark to Ironhide, and he had some sort of shield covering him. it was expanding. "don't touch that Ironhide." Ratchet warned.

"he hasn't hurt me yet." Ironhide said, touching the shield. it forcefully pushed him back, but didn't shock him the way it had Ratchet. Ironhide put an arm in front of the medic and pushed him behind him. if the shield wasn't going to hurt him, he could at least attempt to protect Ratchet from it.

"I don't get why it doesn't shock you." Ratchet said.

"I think it has something to do with my name on his wrist." Ironhide said.

"that means nothing Ironhide, I've seen Wheeljacks name on his neck." Ratchet said.

"yeah but my name doesn't move. it's like burnt into his wrist." Ironhide said. "all the other symbols and names and shit move around, but mine doesn't." Ironhide muttered. "it just stays there." he added. Ratchet looked at him then back to Will.

"are you serious?" Ratchet ask. Ironhide nodded. "that makes so much sense. thats why he doesn't shock you!" Ratchet said, smacking Ironhide in the back of the head.

"hey! what the hell was that for!?" Ironhide growled.

"oh you fucking idiot." Ratchet said. Ironhide glared slightly at him, pushing him back more as the shield spread.

"what the hell did I do now?" Ironhide glared.

"you don't know what that means?" Ratchet ask.

"no!" Ironhide hissed.

"you're an idiot!" Ratchet growls, shoving him towards Will. "go over there and pick him up!" Ratchet hissed.

"I can't the shield won't let me!" Ironhide hissed.

"yes you can you might have to use a little force but you're the only person who will be able to touch him!" Ratchet hissed, backing up to the edge of the medbay.

"and why is that?" Ironhide hissed.

"because you're his bondmate you fucking idiot! thats why your name is on his wrist! thats why you can touch him with out getting shocked and why his protoform doesn't activate when you touch him! it knows he's completely safe with you now go pick him up before he destroys everything on the base!" Ratchet hissed, shoving him hard. Ironhide seemed shocked, but did as Ratchet said. "if you just walk through it instead of putting your servo on it you should just go right through." Ratchet said. the mech nodded and quickly walked forward, passing straight through the shield. he seemed surprised, but quickly made his way over to Will scooping him up.

"it's not doing anything!" Ironhide hissed.

"because you're just as panicked as he is! calm the frag down!" Ratchet said.

"Will you've got to stop this you're going to destroy the base." Ironhide said. the shield stopped growing and Ratchet let out a sigh of relief.

"oh thank primus." he muttered. "keep talking to him. it's working." Ratchet said.

"uh... how do I make him let you in here?" Ironhide ask. Ratchet shrugged.

"you're guess is as good as mine." Ratchet said.

"okay. so... my name on his wrist..?" Ironhide trailed, watching the shield shrink.

"means your his bondmate. not sure if thats because you've spent so much time with him, he loves you, or because you're his guardian." Ratchet said, inching forward.

"how can you be positive of that?" Ironhide ask.

"I've seen it before. I think he was wrong earlier. I think he's the new Prime too." Ratchet said.

"new Prime? but he said one new Prime and one new Allspark. he's clearly the Allspark. he can't be the Prime." Ironhide said. Ratchet continued to inch forwards as Ironhide talked.

"yeah but I think he misheard them. I think he's the new Prime because he's the knew Allspark. Prime has his bondmates name etched into his spark chamber. since Will doesn't technically have a spark chamber, because he doesn't have a spark unless he's in his protoform so his is on his wrist." Ratchet said.

"Prime has a bondmate?" Ironhide ask.

"he was supposed to. they died in the war before they bonded according to Optimus." Ratchet said.

"so I'm not technically Will's bondmate. I can't be. he doesn't have a spark and we never bonded." Ironhide said. he carefully set Will down once the shield dropped. he stepped back some.

"well... unless he is the new Allspark, in which case you wouldn't have to bond. being in such close proximity for so long with all the energy he gives off could've done the trick." Ratchet mumbled. "open your spark chamber." Ratchet said. "since he doesn't have a spark unless he's in his Protoform, it's easier to just check yours. you're not bonded to anyone else right?" Ratchet ask.

"no I'm not bonded." Ironhide muttered. he opened his chestplates and revealed his spark chamber.

"your spark says different. I'd say you're bonded to Will." Ratchet said.

"impossible." Ironhide glared. "I can't be bonded to him." Ironhide hissed, shutting his chamber.

"you are Ironhide. just accept that fact and get on with it." Ratchet said. Will suddenly sat up screaming and clutching his chest, scaring the two mechs. they quickly looked down at him and looked around shakily. "Will?" Ratchet ask crouching down.

"wh-where's Optimus? wha-what happened?" Will whimpered.

"he called Ironhide and told him you were being weird so Ironhide brought you down here." Ratchet explained. Will nodded looking around nervously. he stood up and looked around, walking over to Ironhide. the mech almost wanted to refuse picking him up, but put his servo out for him to step on out of habit. Will shakily stepped into his hand. "what happened?" Ratchet ask.

"I don't know. they were telling me a bunch of stuff and then it was like I could see the war on Cybertron and I was watching things get torn apart and people were dying and I couldn't do anything. I was just watching awful things happen and its not like anything or any war I've ever experienced on Earth. it's was like I was just watching everyone and everything happening. I couldn't do anything at all and I-" Will was starting to get worked up.

"Will easy. easy. it's okay. just relax." Ratchet soothed gently. Ironhide shifted Will gently, rubbing his back gently with his thumb. "you're going to send yourself into a panic attack. it's alright." Ratchet soothed.

"I... s-sorry." Will mumbled, burying his face in his hands.

"the Allspark was probably sharing it's story with you. it's okay." Ratchet said.

"I don't want it to! how come I ended up like this and not Sam? he had more exposure to it than I ever did!" Will shouted.

"I'm not sure. I still haven't figured that out." Ratchet sighed. Wills anxiety level was rising and he was trembling. Ratchet motioned for Ironhide to do something. Ironhide shrugged at him slightly, not knowing entirely what to do either. he shifted the man and held him to his chest plates. Will cuddled back against him, still looking completely upset.

"now what?" Ironhide ask.

"take him back to your room and try to calm him down, but be careful." Ratchet said. Ironhide nodded slightly and carried Will out. he cradled Will to his chest, trying to calm him down. if Ratchet was right, being closer to his spark should help calm the man down. it seemed to be working, at least a little.

"did you learn anything?" Ironhide ask. Will nodded slightly, resting his head against Ironhide's chest. "yeah?" Ironhide ask, rubbing his thumb gently over Wills back.

"yeah. they're gonna teach me how to control the energy and stuff. I've got some powers or something too." Will mumbled quietly. Ironhide nodded, laying on his berth with Will on his chest. "they also told me why your names on my wrist." Will mumbled.

"yeah Ratchet explained that one to me." Ironhide said. Will curled up more.

"I'm sorry." he said quietly.

"it's alright. it's not your fault." Ironhide assured. he warmed the spot Will was laying on gently and rubbed his back carefully. "its alright Will." Ironhide soothed.

"I'm sorry...." Will trailed.

"did you learn anything with Prime?" Ironhide ask. Will nodded slightly.

"yeah..." Will trailed.

"are you okay now?" Ironhide ask. Will nodded slightly and slowly sat up.

"yeah, thanks Hide." Will said. Ironhide nodded.

"are you hungry?" Ironhide ask.

"no not really." Will mumbled. Ironhide watched him and sat up.

"come on." Ironhide said.

"huh?" Will ask.

"we're going for a drive." Ironhide said.

"b-but I-" Will said.

"I can take on any Decepticon. you need a relaxing drive." Ironhide said. Will nodded slightly and cuddled to him.

"okay." Will mumbled.
