"you're getting there Will." Ironhide assured, watching the chair. it came flying down and landed hard on Sunstreaker as he and Sideswipe were driving by. immediately the yellow twin came to a complete stop.

"oops." Will winced slightly. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Will whined quietly. Ironhide growled at the Lambo twin.

"HEY!" Sunstreaker growled. "what the fuck is your problem!?" Sunstreaker hissed transforming. he stomped over and Will stepped backwards, bumping into Ironhide's leg. the weapons specialist's cannons immediately started spinning. he stepped over Will and shoved Sunstreaker back hard.

"watch who you're talking too." Ironhide hissed. the two started arguing and Will's body was screaming that his bonded was in danger. the blue orb was getting brighter and brighter around his hands, spreading to cover his body.

"no no no no no no no. don't! not now! stop! please!" Will shouted.

"Ironhide." Optimus said backing up.

"Ironhide....." Will whined.

"Ironhide!" Optimus called backing up more. Ironhide turned and Sunstreaker punched him hard in the face, or attempted to. Ironhide was suddenly covered in a blue shield and it shocked Sunstreaker hard. it sent the twin flying backwards about 20 feet before he tumbled across the ground. Ironhide quickly faced Will, surprised.

"Will stop!" Ironhide shouted.

"i-it's not me!" Will cried. Ironhide walked closer to him.

"Will you have to get control of this." Ironhide said.

"I-I'm trying! I'm sorry!" Will cried. his chest was heaving he couldn't breathe. he was panicking.

"just relax Will. getting upset will make it worse." Ironhide said, trying to calm him down. "Ratchet! Will's having some sort of panic attack! his energy is freaking out!" Ironhide said. Optimus was being pushed back by the shield.

"Will! stop!" Optimus shouted, struggling against the shield.

"it's not him! leave him alone!" Ironhide shouted. he inched closer to Will.

"pick him up. be gentle. try to sooth him. I'm on the way." Ratchet said. Ironhide reached for him gently.

"come here Will." Ironhide said. he reached to pick him up, his protoform activated, but he allowed Ironhide to pick him up, sending a mild shock through the bigger mechs fingers.

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! stop!" Will cried. Ironhide transformed around him quickly, holding Will in his backseat. his holoform appeared beside Will and held him gently.

"it's alright. it's alright Will." Ironhide said. Will curled up more, gasping quietly. Ironhide was keeping watch over the shield, Ratchet was just waiting for the shield to fall so he could get to them. "breathe Will. it's alright." Ironhide assured. the shield fell after a moment and the protoform retracted, but the panic attack didn't fall. he curled up in the backseat, beating his fists against his head, tears streaking down his cheeks. he was gasping for breath and the Allspark must've realized they needed Ratchet. the medic immediately raced over, his holoform activated. Ironhide opened his back door to reveal Will curled up in the backseat struggling to breath.

"I got a shot of something here to help him. if the Allspark will let me. mild sedative." Ratchet said.

"I think it realizes he needs help that it can't provide." Ironhide said. his holoform moved out of the way to let Ratchet do what he needed to do. Ironhide watched him inject the man with something in his arm. Will slumped slightly.

"get him back to your room." Ratchet said, shutting his holoform off. Ironhide nodded transforming carefully and holding Will.

"okay." Ironhide muttered, carrying Will off. Will whimpered quietly. "it's alright Will." Ironhide assured. he little creatures appeared to feel Wills discomfort as much as Ironhide felt it. they were gathered around the larger mechs feet. "move little slaggers." Ironhide hissed, stepping over them. if he hurt any of them Will would be pissed. "move! I'll lay him down in a second!" Ironhide hissed, moving them out of his way. he finally managed to get to his room and grumbled letting the creatures in as well. who knew, maybe they'd help Will. Ironhide put Will on his berth and picked up the little creatures putting them on the berth with the distraught man. they curled up with him and cuddled him. Ironhide nodded slightly running a finger down Wills back gently. "it's alright Will." Ironhide assures.

"how is he?" Optimus ask, walking in. Ironhide motioned towards the berth. Optimus looked over and seemed shocked. "what are they doing?" Optimus ask

"they can feel he's upset just like I can." Ironhide muttered. "almost stepped on the stupid fraggers trying to get him in here." he huffed.

"hey you guys seen CD? he started acting weird and took off." Epps said, walking by.

"he's in here." Ironhide muttered. "Will had a panic attack and all the electronics in the base came to find him." Ironhide added. Epps looked over and nodded slightly.

"okay..." Epps said and walked off. he didn't want to take CD from his friend if Will really needed him. Optimus nodded at Ironhide and walked out of the room. Ironhide walked over and looked at the little creatures.

"alright, out. let him sleep." Ironhide said, putting his servo's out and for them to get into. the creatures slowly climbed into his servos. he put them outside his room and shut the door.

"m'not asleep." Will muttered. Ironhide looked at Will surprised and picked him up gently.

"if you're not asleep, I have something to show you. I'm hoping it'll make you feel better." Ironhide said, putting Will on the floor.

"huh?" Will ask. Ironhide sat on the berth and activated his holoform.

"come on." Ironhide said, leading Will over to a corner of his room. there was a human sized door there Will had never seen. "I've had Prime and the others working on this for a few days." Ironhide added. Will looked confused.

"working on what?" Will ask. "whats this door? I've never seen it before." WIll said.

"working, on this." Ironhide said, opening the door. Will stared in shock.

"m-m-my... my room!" Will shouted, walking into it. he looked around.

"not your real room. just a replica." Ironhide said. "minus the computer." he added. Will looked around almost in tears and turned running at the holoform, tackling him in a hug. Ironhide yelped in surprise and chuckled laying on his back, holding Will.

"thank you." WIll murmurs.

"of course Will... I can't send you home. it's not safe, but I figured your bedroom might help. sleeping on a bed is probably a lot better than sleeping on my chest." Ironhide admitted. "though we couldn't put your computer in here, because... well, you know." Ironhide added. Will cuddled him and hugged him tightly.

"thank you." Will murmured. Ironhide nodded and kissed his head, slowly getting up off the floor.

"of course." he smiled.

"can someone go to the house and bring me my computer?" Will ask. "I've been getting a little bored on base." Will admitted.

"you'll bring it to life." Ironhide said.

"thats okay." Will said. "none of the others have been all that bad." Will added. Ironhide thought a moment.

"okay. I'll see if Bumblebee will go get it." Ironhide said. Will grinned happily.

"thanks." he smiled. Will sat on the bed and laid back smiling. "its just like my bed back at home." Will smiled and nuzzled into the blankets. Ironhide laid with him.

"we did our best." Ironhide murmured.

"sorry I threw you with my energy earlier." Will said. Ironhide chuckled slightly.

"it's alright. just surprised me." Ironhide chuckled.

"I didn't hurt Sunstreaker did I?" Will ask hesitantly.

"nah. he's just mad you scratched his paint. he'll be fine." Ironhide assured.

"I couldn't stop it. it said you were in danger and I couldn't do anything." Will mumbled.

"it's okay Will. just relax." Ironhide soothed, holding him gently. Will cuddled him.

"sorry..." Will sighed. Ironhide kissed his head and smiled.

"Bumblebee said he'll get your computer." Ironhide said.

"yay." Will smiled. he looked around his room and smiled. "it looks exactly like my room." Will sighed happily. Ironhide nodded and smiled at him. "sorry for tackling you." Will said.

"its alright." Ironhide chuckled. Will nuzzled him and sighed happily.

"mmm. I love you." Will murmured.

"I love you too." Ironhide said. Will cuddled him, holding him tightly. "why don't you just relax a little. see if you can talk to the Allspark and get some more information from it okay?" Ironhide ask. Will nodded slightly.

"not right now... I'm..." Will trailed slightly, curling up against the holoforms side.

"get some sleep." Ironhide murmured softly, kissing his forehead. Will nodded and nuzzled his chest, eye's slowly slipping closed. Ironhide smiled slightly and kissed his head, holding him gently. he rubbed the mans back gently, holding him. Ironhide smiled slightly and yawned, closing his eye's. he'd keep the holoform up until he couldn't anymore, hopefully he'd be asleep.

*later*

Ironhide muttered and shifted, feeling Will move beside him.

"Will?" Ironhide ask. the man plopped himself onto Ironhide, straddling him. Ironhide looked up at him, hands quickly coming to rest on Will's hips out of habit. "you okay?" Ironhide muttered. his voice was thick with sleep, but it didn't take a genius for Will to know he was scanning him to figure out exactly what was wrong. Will stayed quiet and watched him, waiting. Ironhide gave a chuckle, suddenly not as tired as he seemed before. "I see." he mumbled, pulled him down to kiss him. Will grinned happily.

"we could be lazy in my bed again." Will murmured.

"it has been a while." Ironhide said, pulling him closer. "but this isn't entirely your bed." Ironhide said. Will rolled his eye's.

"yes or no Hide?" Will ask. "because if not, I can just get off you." Will said. Ironhide held tighter and kissed him roughly.

"do I have to answer you? or would you like to see the answer instead?" Ironhide murmured. Ironhide made sure the little door was locked as well as his main door, before he laid back on the berth, a content smirk on his faceplates. despite the fact he was completely focused on Will and nothing else, he failed to notice the growing Allspark energy of his own energy, until it was too late. they were both too close to the edge to stop until a large spark of Allspark energy exploded through out the base. all the lights in the base suddenly shut off. there was no power and Ironhide could barely gather the energy to move before he passed out with Will.

Ironhide thankfully recovered faster than Will. he easily cleaned up, removing traces of everything that had happened. there was no way in Pits he was going to explain to Ratchet and Prime that he and Will had caused a power surge in not only the base, but every Cybertronian on base, because he and Will had decided to fuck around without paying the Allspark energy any attention. the man was still unconscious on the bed and Ironhide muttered rubbing his head slightly.

wh... what happened?

did the whole base feel that?

the whole base got knocked out and lost power.... what happened?

Ironhide looked over at his lover, feeling bad for blaming just him, but man his processor was still fuzzy and it kinda hurt. he scanned Will carefully.

but his explosion of energy has made his Allspark energy rating plummet. if it stays like that a bit, I might be able to take him to see his house.

well, it might be good for him. how is he?

either unconscious or asleep, unsure.

should I come check on him?

Ironhide looked at his nude partner.

nah. he's okay.

he didn't get a response. Ironhide smiled slightly at Will, but winced, shutting his holoform off.

a few hours later both slowly roused. Will rubbed his head and pulled his clothes on, before walking out of the room. Ironhide was rubbing his faceplates when he came out.

"hey what happened?" Will ask.

"your energy exploded. knocked all the power in the base out and sent every Autobot on base into emergency reboot. hit me twice." Ironhide said. "you alright?" Ironhide ask. Will gave a weak nod.

"yeah, m'okay. you okay?" Will ask.

"I am okay." Ironhide said. he stood and stretched, scanning Will gently. "your energy readings are almost nonexistent." Ironhide said.

"good." Will muttered.

"Ratchet thinks it'd be good for you if I took you to your house." Ironhide said. immediately Will perked up, looking up at him.

"really?" Will ask excited. Ironhide nodded a small smirk on his faceplates. immediately the man headed for the door. "well come on! hurry up before my energy spikes up again!" Will said. Ironhide chuckled and got up, following the man out of the base and transforming. he threw the drivers side door open and Will climbed in.

"hopefully we can make it there and back without issue." Ironhide said, rolling the driver side window down, turning the radio up and blaring AC/DC. Will grinned as his guardian gunned it away from the base.

"besides if we need to, we apparently know what can hide my energy now." Will grinned. Ironhide bounced on his tires in agreement and kept driving.
