Will awakes in the medbay, Frenzy cuddled up to his side. Ironhides sitting not far away, arms crossed over his chest, optics off, like he's napping. Barricade is laying on another berth a few feet away, either unconscious or in forced stasis.

"what the hell happened?" Will mutters, slowly sitting up. Frenzy cuddles closer to him, chirping.

"you passed out." Ratchet frowns, leaned against Barricades berth, arms crossed over his chest. "you're still human y'know." Ratchet added. Will rubs his head a little, before looking at Barricade.

"how is he?" Will ask.

"he'll be alright. he got lucky that he sent a distress call out hard enough that it upset Frenzy." Ratchet frowns. "you were right though. he got attacked for refusing to attack Bumblebee and Sam, stating he owed it to you for returning Frenzy to him in one healthy piece." Ratchet adds.

"yeah, probably not a smart thing to tell other Decepticons." Will says.

"its also not smart to run until you pass out." Ironhide chimes. Will looks over at him.

"it was an emergency situation." Will frowns. Ironhide grunts, frowning. "I'm fine." Will assures, getting up. "you're sure Barricade will be fine?" Will ask.

"positive, but like I said, he got lucky. had you hesitated or not heard Frenzy's distress signal, they both would've offlined." Ratchet says.

"well, its a good thing that I did." Will says, patting Frenzy's head. "how bad was he?" Will ask.

"on the edge of spark failure Will." Ratchet frowns. Will nods a little, stumbling slightly. he's careful not to drop Frenzy, but looks ready to drop himself. Ironhides quick to catch him.

"you need to get more rest." Ironhide frowns.

"yeah I know." Will mutters.

"leave Frenzy here with Barricade and take Will back to your room to rest." Ratchet says, reaching for Frenzy carefully. Will hands him over easily and curls up in Ironhides arm. Ironhide turns and carries him off.

"when Barricade wakes up, you know where we're at." Ironhide says. Ratchet nods once and watches Ironhide carries Will off.

the mans asleep before Ironhide even makes it to the room, mostly because Optimus stops him along the way to double check Will is alright. he lays the man down, using his holoform, on his bed in his copied room. he covers Will gently and shuts the holoform off. he wants Will to sleep as long as possible, so he leaves the man alone.

its four hours later when Ironhide gets a com from Ratchet asking him to bring Will down. the mans still asleep, so Ironhide scoops him up and carries him to the medbay.

"he's still asleep. something wrong?"

"wake him up. its important."

Ironhide sighs slightly and gently prods Will, he was afraid that would be Ratchets answer.

"Will, hey, wake up." Ironhide murmurs. Will shifts and mumbles.

"Hide?" Will ask.

"yeah, sorry Will. I didn't want to wake you up." Ironhide murmurs.

"where are we goin'?" Will asks, slowly sitting up in the mechs hand.

"medbay. Ratchets requested your presence." Ironhide said. Will nods, rubbing at his face. Ironhide walks into the medbay, looking over.

"Ratchet?" Will asks, blinking at the mech. Ratchet doesn't look up, just motions to Barricade, who is slowly waking up. the Con slowly sits up on the berth, looking around slightly lost. "Barricade." Will says, standing in Ironhide servo. the mech immediately looks over.

"Frenzy?" Barricade mutters.

"he's in stasis, he's fine." Will says. he can feel the little Con isn't awake. Barricade nods once, before staring at Will. "you okay?" Wil ask.

"my systems are still rebooting." Barricade mutters. Will nods. "how the hell did you get me here? how the hell did you find me?" Barricade frowns.

"I found you because Frenzy. you guys were close enough I could feel his pain and that he was scared." Will said. "as for how we got you here... I... I can't tell you that. I don't remember." Will frowns.

"Optimus and I hauled you back." Ratchet mutters. Barricade nods and gets up, slowly. despite not trusting the Con at all, Ironhide immediately throws an arm out, Servo landing on the mechs chest, to hold him up when he stumbled. if he fell, he'd have fallen on Frenzy and Will would've lost his mind immediately. he frowns at the Decepticon, a firm grip on the mechs chestplate.

"if you land on Frenzy and piss Will off, I swear to Primus I'll end you." Ironhide warns. it was an empty threat, he knew Will wouldn't have allowed him to hurt either of them, even if stopping him hurt him, but Barricade didn't need to know that. Ironhide lets him go once he's steady.

"Optimus has put out a notice that you're on base, so you should be alright. however we all know the twins and I believe you'll be best to stay in the medbay until you're good enough to either leave or we get you a room, depending on your choice." Ratchet says. Barricade side eyes him.

"I'm on an Autobot base, I can't simply return back to the Decepticons." Barricade grumbles.

"not to mention the fact he broke orders. he's better off here." Will says.

"your signal is being hidden for now." Ratchet assures. "they'll never know your here." Ratchet adds.

"why are you helping me?" Barricade growls.

"we owed you." Will says. "you almost died because you refused to attack our friends." Will explains.

"while I don't trust you, I feel its necessary to also say you're probably safest in here. those slagging lambo twins find you, Optimus' orders or not, they'll attack." Ironhide frowns.

"why do you care what happens to me?" Barricade huffs.

"I don't." Ironhide answers honestly. "I don't give a fuck if you end up in the well of Allsparks, but Will does. if you die, then Frenzy dies, and thats what I care about because that would hurt Will." Ironhide huffs.

"be nice." Will warns, eyes flashing a bright red in warning. Barricade watched Will for a moment. "while I agree with both Ratchet and Ironhide that you're better off in here, if you feel the need to leave the bay, but not the base, let me know. those stupid twins aren't dumb enough to fuck with the only human on the planet thats actually a match for them." Will says. he stiffens a little and looks over at the medbay doors.

"Will?" Ironhide ask. Will looks confused, his eyes a dull blue. he mumbles to himself and teleports out of Ironhides hand. Barricade looks shocked, looking between the two Autobots. "I gotta go." Ironhide says, leaving quickly.

he tracks Wills signal, to just outside the base. Wills staring into the distance, not in a vision, but looking for something. Ironhides not sure what, but he transforms and rolls over to Will, popping the driver side door open.

"come on. I'll let you drive." Ironhide murmurs. Will twitches a little and gets into the driver seat, but he doesn't grab the wheel or attempt to drive. "what are we looking for?" Ironhide asks, scanning the area as he drives towards the direction Will was staring towards. Wills eyes pulse a bright blue and suddenly, Ironhide can feel exactly what Will feels. the weird pull the man in his seat is feeling and, deciding thats the only answer he'll get, he follows it. he's careful though.

Wills quiet the entire time, not really moving. Ironhide just drives for a few minutes until Will lays a hand on his steering wheel. the truck slows immediately.

"steering wheel is yours if you want it." Ironhide offers again. Will blinks a little, shaking his head, before gripping the wheel gently. Ironhide gives up control immediately letting Will turn them to the left. "whose out here Will?" Ironhide ask.

"I dunno." Will mumbles, sounding confused. "they're camouflaged." Will says. "but friendly." Will says.

"oh yeah? how do you know that?" Ironhide ask. Will frowns a little.

"well... I introduced myself as a Prime baring the Allspark energy. they introduced themselves as an Autobot and gave name I couldn't understand, they're hurt, but let me into their mind. thats what you were feeling. I was amplified their signal through the energy so you could feel it too. they're safe." Will explains. "trust me on this, you owe me for doubting me on Barricade." Will frowns. Ironhide huffs.

"I trust you Will, but just like with Barricade, I'm here in case something goes wrong. I've got your back." Ironhide assurees, letting Will drive them.

"stop." Will says, moving to get out. Ironhide immediately comes to a stop.

"Prime, Will picked up some strange Autobot readings. we've gone to check them out. Will says someone is injured. alert Ratchet and Wheeljack to start following my signal."

its quiet a moment.

"understood. Ratchet and Wheeljack along with a small team will arrive shortly, in case this is a trap."

"thanks."

Will gets out, Ironhide transforming immediately.

"hello? its me." Will calls. there's shifting and Will frowns. he nods to himself, Ironhide automatically assumes the Allspark is talking to him, and kneels down. "we mean no harm." Will says, pressing his palm to the ground. a blue glow erupts from his hand and into the ground.

"Prime huh...?" a voice asks. Ironhide straightens immediately.

"Blaster?" he calls. its quiet a moment, before the sounds of someone walking over quickly takes over.

"I-Ironhide?" the mech ask stumbling out of his cover.

"Prime, its Blaster."

"welcome to Earth." Will calls, looking up. Blaster winces and sits down, looking at Will.

"you're one of the beings of this planet." Blaster mutters. "you're no Prime." he adds. Will shrugs a little.

"its a very long story, involving the Allspark transferring itself to me. it doesn't matter. I'm Will and I'm bringing help like promised." Will says. he looks at Ironhide. "you already contacted Ratchet and Wheeljack right?" Will ask. Ironhide nods once, walking over to kneel beside Blaster.

"kid I haven't seen you since the power outage in Iacon." Ironhide mutters.

"not my fault. I was dared to shoot while obviously on high grade." Blaster mutters back. Ironhide snorts.

"you alone?" Ironhide asks, looking around.

"just me for now." Blaster mutters. "but Bluestreak and Prowl are on their way." Blaster says. Will looks over at Ironhide.

"who?" he asks.

"Prowl is a military strategist, Bluestreak is... you'll figure out. Blaster here is a communications expert." Ironhide explains. Will nods a little. "he's like Soundwave in a way. with his little cassettes." Ironhide says.

"Ramjet and Rewind are all thats left." Blaster winces. "they're injured too." he winces. Will backs up quickly.

"what? more? I've been way too close for too long Ironhide!" Will says hesitantly.

"they'll be fine. they're far older than Frenzy." Ironhide assures. Blaster looks confused but doesn't have time to dwell on it as he can see Ratchet and Wheeljack running his way.

"holy slag, Ratchet the Hatchet lives." Blaster mutters.

"I can't be here." Will mumbles, teleporting himself away nervously. Ironhide watches him go and frowns.

"I'll meet you guys back at the base." Ironhide mutters, transforming quietly to go after Will.

Will lands in the medbay, looking nervous. Barricade looks over at him, he's holding Frenzy gently.

"what are you doing here?" Barricade asks. "and whats that thing you keep doing?" he asks.

"trying to prevent bringing other things to life and teleporting." Will mumbles. Barricade raises an optic ridge.

"how are you doing that? the teleporting thing?" Barricade asks.

"just the Allspark energy." Will shrugs a little. he pauses and looks at Barricade. "you're not gonna, like, use this information against me with the other Decepticons?" Will asks, hesitantly. Barricade shrugs a little.

"you heard the medic. I'm stuck here until he decides I don't need to be, however long that maybe." Barricade says. Will watches him a moment. "no. I won't share your information. I owe you at least that much for dragging that medic out there to save my spark." Barricade mumbles.

"awesome. once I get used to your signature I sure be able to use my powers with you like I do the Autobots." Will smiles at him. Barricade pulls back some.

"disgusting." Barricade mutters.

"if I had been used to your signature, I would've been able to teleport you back to the base and get you help faster." Will frowns.

"fine." Barricade mutters. Will nods a little and climbs off the berth he was on. he heads out of the medbay. Ironhide almost immediately scoops him up.

"you don't have to be afraid here Will. Blaster is far nicer with his cassettes than the Decepticons are with theirs." Ironhide assures.

"I'm just... nervous. Frenzy is an important asset but now he's also a little useless." Will frowns a little. "we need all the help we can get..." he adds.

"its okay Will." Ironhide assures.

"Blaster said their are more autobots headed this way... from everything I've heard Autobots have always been outnumbered. more Decepticons have to be on their way as well." Will frowns.

"we'll be ready for them." Ironhide assures gently. Will nods a little. "you hungry?" Ironhide asks.

"yeah. teleporting everyone around is... exhausting and I'm starving." Will mutters.

"I know." Ironhide snorts. "we're going to have to start keeping snacks around." he teases.

"oh yeah, Ratchet would have a fucking field day with that." Will mutters sarcastically.

"I wasn't going to ask for his permission." Ironhide says.

"hows Blaster?" Will asks.

"on his way back right now. Ratchet got him all patched up. they're on their way back. you did amazing Will, good job. you saved his life." Ironhide says, sitting Will down by the human rec room. "go eat." Ironhide murmurs. Will nods and heads to get something to eat. Ironhide watches him go, before feeling a tap on his shoulder. he turns. "Prime?" Ironhide ask.

"Ratchet informed me Will found Blaster." Optimus said.

"yeah. he picked up on his signal with the energy. Blaster warned more are on the way. Prowl, Bluestreak, maybe more." Ironhide says. Optimus nods. "but like always. with more Autobots risks more Decepticons, Wills worried about it." Ironhide adds.

"we'll be ready and waiting when they do." Optimus says.

"thats what I told him." Ironhide nods at him.

"whats up Optimus?" Will asks, walking over. he's got a sandwich in each hand, one with a few bites taken already.

"hello Will. we are just discussing Blasters arrival." Optimus smiles. Will nods once at him, before frowning.

"what about Barricade?" Will ask.

"what about him?" Optimus asks, kneeling down.

"its great and all Blaster will be safe and healthy here. I'm glad we found him in time, but we also got lucky with Barricade and Frenzy both. I just want to make sure they'll be fine here." Will says. Optimus looks almost confused. "Barricades a 'Con and a very proud one so he won't admit this, but he is afraid. not for himself but for Frenzy. I'm worried about them both. I want to make sure that he'll be safe and accepted here on the base. that he'll be allowed to roam free on base, within reason, and not be attacked for simply existing." Will says firmly. Optimus nods standing back up.

"on my honor Will, I will do everything in my power to make sure our new allies are safe an allowed to wonder, I will put out notice to other Autobots Barricade is not a threat, but is to be watched, monitored, not treated like a prisoner but we should be cautious. I will do the best I can to keep him safe and unharmed." Optimus assures.

"you do your best and I'll do mine. he should have a room set up here on base like every other Autobot and until he and Frenzy are safe, I'll be hanging around with him. the only one stupid enough to mess with my Allspark energy is Sunstreaker or Wheeljack and Wheeljack means no harm but Sunstreaker would tear Barricade apart." Will says. he looks at Ironhide, who nods once at him.

"go eat. I'll take you to the medbay so you don't waste more energy or hurt yourself teleporting there." Ironhide assures. Will nods and heads back into the rec room.

"you're okay with him being around a Decepticon?" Optimus ask.

"safety is better in numbers." Ironhide mutters. Optimus looks more confused and Ironhide shakes his head. he knows better than to be sarcastic with Optimus. "I trust him, he trusts the Allspark, and the Allspark trusts Barricade. I don't trust the 'Con, but I trust my bondmate Prime. Will knows something we don't and I'm willing to stay in the dark for him." Ironhide assures, turning to watch Will. Optimus nods once.

"fair enough." Optimus says, walking away. Will walks back over and looks up at his guardian/bondmate.

"mean that?" Will asks. Ironhide smirks a little, scooping him up.

"I trust you Will. bondmate or not, I do trust you. here, just walking around and having relaxed conversation and out on the battle field in a fight. I've put my life in your hands as you've done for me. a 'Con on base won't stop that." Ironhide assures, heading back for the medbay.

Ironhide carries Will back into the medbay and Barricade looks up.

"what the hell do you want?" he mutters. Ironhide frowns at him and walks over, putting Will on the berth with him. "I don't want you on my berth." Barricade growls.

"better get used to it. until they get you a room and certain Autobots can get their shit together, I'm gonna be your best friend." Will says, smirking.

"what?" Barricade huffs.

"Wills here to use his Allspark energy to keep bots like Sunstreaker or Mirage away from you." Ironhide frowns.

"I don't need protection." Barricade snaps. Will laughs at him and shakes his head.

"don't even think for a single minute this is for you. don't get me wrong, it benefits you, but its for Frenzy." Will says firmly. Barricade looks curious for just a second but then its gone and Will smirks, picking Frenzy up when he runs over. "hey buddy." WIll smiles. Ironhide watches him with a half content smirk, before turning to Barricade.

"Will is going to stay with you until Prime can promise complete sanctuary. hurt him and I'll kill you." Ironhide warns, cannons spinning, before he turns and leaves the medbay. Will watches him go.

"charming." Barricade huffs. "so what exactly am I supposed to do with you?" Barricade frowns at him.

"nothing, just take me where ever you go. I am your free ticket to roam the base." Will nods at him. "get up and stretch, take a walk, just sit in here and relax, go look around. whatever, just take me with you. anyone comes after you with me in your grasp and Ironhide will have their skidplates on his wall before the day is done. I'm just here to make sure you're not seen as a Decepticon threat instead of a potential ally." Will says. Barricade frowns at him.

"so I take you and I can just walk right out of here?" Barricade ask.

"you can go anywhere, within reason." Will says. "no ones allowed in Wheeljacks lab without him, for example." Will adds. Barricade nods a little. "would you like to go for a walk? take a look around?" Will ask.

"I'm debating it, but I don't want to risk Frenzys health." Barricade frowns.

"no worries, thats what I'm for. I've got you both covered. you protected Sam and Bumblebee, I am in your debt." Will assures him gently.
