"Soo, the kitchen is through here." The Beta gestured dramatically. Stepping into yet another large and beautiful room. Everything in this pack looks as if all the buildings were brand new. This kitchen in particular had black marble counter tops, black polished tiles and pure white walls. Not a smudge in sight. The fridge is the biggest fridge I have every seen. It was three times larger then as a normal house fridge and they had four of them! All spaced out as evenly and nicely as possible. All lined up on one wall. All of the refrigerators were black and looked brand new. In the middle of the kitchen on the top next to the black cabinets hanged a matching microwave. Wow. . ., its pretty but strange. This pack really likes to match EVERYTHING in a room just like the hospital. Rarely do I ever see another color that is not part of the theme. On the side of the wall that is connected to the door has a giant window in the center of the wall with a counter that allows you to see into the dinning area. Forming a bar. In the connecting room was a huge table that could easily fit 15 people. And if that wasn't enough there were five other large tables as well spaced out nicely around the room. They all had beautiful white table clothes and flowers in the center. Making it look like a room set for a mini banquet. The roof in the room was very high up. Giving the room a more airy and open feeling to it. At the wall across from the kitchen but attached to the mini banquet room had yet another set of hallways. And at the far wall of the room was a window that covered that entire wall. Allowing you to see the beautiful view of the green and lushes garden in the back. I'm so use to seeing the snow during winter its hard to believe its still winter seeing how green it is over here. I guess the mountain makes a big difference. Granted, it is the end of winter almost spring so maybe that makes a difference?

"You wont have to worry about cooking. We have a lead chief that takes care of all 3 meals and has others working with her through out the day. In fact, I must warn you Rachel can be really nasty if you go in to her territory to grab food. So I would just stay away and eat what she prepares for you." He then walks back to the kitchen and brings out two water bottles and hands me one. Questioning him with a raised eye brow. You just said grabbing things is a no, no ?

"I said don't grab food, drinks are okay." He replies knowing exactly what I was thinking. A grin began to grow on his face. I could see the wheels spinning in his head.

"Hey, could you imagine working in a water bottle factory?" Oh no. . .Its another one of his lame jokes.

" Nooooo" I said waiting for yet another lame punch line. He seems to love saying them anywhere and everywhere.

"It must be pretty difficult not to drink on the job." His grin multiplied twice. If it was even possible. Trying to hold in a laugh that was slightly slipping out.

"Sooo, how much longer is this tour exactly? And what is the point. No offense but shouldn't I be dead?" Keeping my face as disinterested as possible. Fishing for answers. What do they want with me? Do they know? Or is it because the Alpha is my mate? In which case, I need to figure something out. This wont work and its not okay. Besides what about Jack. Things don't just change because now I have a mate. A very unwanted mate at that.

"And why should you be dead?" A deep and all to familiar voice said from behind me. Making the butterfly's in my stomach appear and making the Beta next to me slightly jump away from my shoulder. As we both turn around to see the devil himself.

Narrowing my eyes at him. Not giving a hint of weakness. " I should be executed." stating simply. As if it was just a casual fact.

"That was a misunderstanding. And was not under my decision. There is to be no execution." He said back with a hint of distaste. Staring at me as if he wanted to find something. But what?

Fixing my posture, to stand a little straighter and possibly a little taller. Not that my short frame would make a difference with his tall one. "And that will be your biggest mistake." Not giving even a slight hint of hesitation in my answer. Challenging him. If I wasn't his mate this statement alone would be my death. Making his eyes narrow.

"HaHaHaHa!, Very funny there Sam-I-Am!" The Beta cuts in awkwardly with his large nervous smile. Causing both of us to turn towards him. With a questioning glance. "Don't Mind her Axel. I think she is just still a little salty. Things will change. Just give her some time." He then turns to me and puts an arm on my shoulder. Trying to make me seem harmless. "Right Sammy?" Causing the Alpha to growl at him. The Beta then Quickly Jumped away, removing his hands and showing surrender to his Alpha.

"Just take her to her room Lucas." He said turning around and walking away.
