The Strange man continues to pull my arm. He wasn't tall like the Alpha or Beta but rather he was about my height maybe slightly taller by am inch or two. With extra short, light brown hair and a pair of brown eyes to match. Dragging me across the unfamiliar pack land. The environment of the land was the same but without all the snow. My pack was up in the mountains far away from most of the other pack lands. Leaving us isolated and out of the way. Here even though it was winter and cold, it was still green and lushes With plenty of trees and lots of flowers. Which only made sense and was not much of a surprise. Even though this was our neighboring pack they were quiet a ways away from the mountain top where all the snow was. Where my pack was located. While passing several houses and building you could tell the size of this land was much larger then my pack land. Everything was spaced out. Making it take a much longer time to walk somewhere compared to home. At home all of our housing was close together. You could easily get to point A to B in no time. There was a lot more room to run around in your wolf form on this land then I could have imagined. I knew their pack was larger but I didn't think it would be so spaced out. It also seemed to be a ghost town I didn't see a single soul the entire way here. Where is everyone? It was to quiet. Is this what life is like in a large pack? It was as if no one lived here. My pack was always lively. You would always having children's running and screaming, playing. Adults laughing and enjoying each others company. Never a dull moment. Maybe pack life here is just to miserable?

At some point we finally reached a large bright white building. Very clean and new. There isn't a spec of dirt anywhere. The front doors are polished aluminum metal doors. The doors are so pristine and clean my reflection can be seen. With a large sign above displaying the word 'Infirmary' in fire engine red letters. Pushing open the front doors. We continued to walk across the white polished marble floors. The entire inside was just as white and bright as the outside. Everything was the same color . Computers, equipment, doors, desks and everything else. It looked so sterile. How do they keep it so clean? Passing doctors and nurses all wearing white scrubs and white shoes. Easily blending in with the building and floors. We then walked into one of the many empty smaller rooms. Once again everything was bright white. Not a single spec of color anywhere. Its so white it literally hurts my eyes. The strange man points to the patient bed to sit on in the corner of the room. As soon as I planted my but where he wanted, he walks out. Soon after, a nurse in the same white uniform walks in with black hair tied in a bun and thin metal glasses on her face. Giving off an annoyed vibe. As if this was nothing but a big inconvenience to her day.

"Ew what is that smell?" Scrunching up her nose. Looking at me in disgust. "I can't help you if your dirty. Go take a shower first. I will be back with some clothes." Pointing at the white bathroom as if I haven't seen it or knew of its existence. Even though I walked past it when walking into the room. I know I stink and all but you can't blame a girl after being in battle and then being stuck in a dirty prison for who knows how long. Are all of the members of blood moon like this? Stuck up and arrogant. She acts as if I didn't know what a shower was. The guards were awful, the nurse is a wench and the Alpha was the worst of them all. So far the horror stories I have heard all my life didn't seem so far fetched. And continues to leave me to believe that it is all true. It had to come from somewhere right?

Getting in the shower with warm water felt amazing after everything I have been through these last couple of days or weeks? Perhaps even months. The dirt and the old blood washing off of me. Washing myself as quickly as possible. It's nice to not smell like bad body odor. Giving me the nice clean feeling that I have greatly missed. I don't like being dirty but I will get down and dirty if I needed to. When I finally became spotless and clean. I wasn't ready to turn off the water and just wanted to stand underneath the running water to take a breather. But knowing that they are probably waiting for me I quickly turn it off and step out of the shower with a towel drying myself off. Noticing the clothes the nurse left for me on the counter next to the door inside the bathroom. That was quick. I didn't notice or hear the door clicking open or shut.

*Knock, Knock* Pulling my eyes away from the clothes to the door ."I have other people to attend to so please hurry up. This is not a hotel. You can't just take your time."

Sheesh alright. I immediately put the clothes on and wrapped my hair in the towel. She rolls her eyes once I exit the bathroom. Arms crossed tapping her foot. So impatient. I was trying to be reasonable but my patience was starting to wear thin. What is this lady's problem? I didn't even take 10 minutes. Maybe she would think twice about giving her patient attitude If someone poked her eyes out . It took a lot of self control to resist the urge. I really don't need the extra attitude after everything I have been through. I made sure to walk extra slow to my original seat. Aiming to piss her off even more. Maybe then she will know that I don't take kindly to it. After sighing exponentially, she starts to aggressively bandage my stomach and wrist as fast as she can.

"Oouch." I said loudly with much irritation. "What kind of nurse injures her patient even more."

"Stop being so dramatic" Rolling her eyes once again. She REALLY wants her eyes to be poked out. I guess she is okay with being blind? Maybe I will get lucky and they fall out of her head if she rolls them enough.

"Its called pain. I can't just not feel it. Maybe if you were a little more geeeentle-"

*Sigh* "Your just as pathetic as the rest. It's a wonder that the Freedom Runners survived as long as they did." That caused me to see red. No one and I mean no one calls my pack pathetic! Normally something this tiny wouldn't bother me but its been real sh*tty and my patience has just expired. I jumped up and started to attack her. Releasing some of the bottled up steam.

I will show her what pathetic really is! I took a hold of her hair pulling it from the roots. Punching the banshee in the face as much as I could. If my wolf was present I would have clawed her face till there was nothing left. But since that wasn't an option I continued with haste Not giving her the opportunity to fight back.

"Security!!" She screeched on the top of her lungs. Struggling to get it out through the assault on her ugly face.

"Your the pathetic one, who can't even fight back!" Giving her another punch but this time it was to the stomach. Knocking the air out of her lungs. Causing her to cough aggressively. Trying to get air back into her lungs.

Slam! the white door came flying open. Slamming the wall inside and bouncing off. Several other people came running in doctors and security. Including the strange man who brought me from the prison into this room. He then grabbed me and struggled to pull me away from her. Two of the men in white security uniforms rushed over to help him get control of me. Eventually managing to peel me off the pathetic nurse. One of the doctors walk over to her picking up the broken glasses off the floor. Handing it back to her.

"Just throw it away." After rejecting him the nurse immediately began to straighten out her uniform and hair like nothing happened. But the evidence of her black and blue face remains.

"Wait till the Alpha hears about this." She seethed at me. As if it was a terrible threat.

"Wait till people see your face!" Like I care about what the Alpha has to say.

The strange man throws me over his shoulder, when I make a move forward to attack again. I wasn't finished. She still has a lesson to learn.

"To bad you wont be able to see it when your dead." Grinning just like all the warriors did before her. As if my death was the best gift of the century. She may think she has the upper hand but she doesn't.

"I would like to see him try." I gave her a giant grin with my last reply, while the strange man carries me out of the room. A confused look displayed on her face from my last comment. Its to bad she doesn't understand my smile. It would give me a lot more satisfaction. Satisfaction to see the defeat in her eyes. Even if their Alpha wanted to kill me he couldn't. Killing a mate is equivalent to killing a part of your soul. I really wish she knew. Then I could laugh at her face when she realizes she would never win.
