Hey everyone it been a while since I have written a free verse poem so today I decided to write one from a guy point of view. This poem was inspired by a song named Mi princesa by Remmy Valenzuela.

My sweet princess

I know he broke your precious heart

All his pretty lies left you broken hearted

I know you're wasting your precious tears on him

But my sweet princess don't you dare blame yourself

You see he doesn't deserve you

I know you know you're losing faith in love

I know that if he beg for forgiveness

You would say yes in heart beat

But my sweet princess you shouldn't waste your precious time on him

You see you should find someone like me

Someone who loves you right

Who will treat you like princess

I know you think all guys are like him

But my precious princess some guys have a heart

I have a heart

You see from the moment I saw you I fell for you

I been by your side and will be by your side

I will love you right and will wait for you

My sweet princess all I want is a chance

But if we aren't meant to be well I'll still be your best friend my sweet princess

My sweet princess all I want is for you to smile again
