Chapter 7 b - All Too Well
Chapter 7 b - All Too Well (Present)
Kris' POV
The coffee shop was closed and it was owned by Daniel's family, we've discussed more, gathered further ideas and he'll present it to Gelli for approval or for what her opinion. I told Daniel that my shoulders producing dull continuous aches, maybe from typing over for how many hours and he suggested to get me a mug of coffee to alleviate, caressing my back, and started to massage my shoulders.
My phone was ringing and Daniel was tickling me on what he was doing as I scanned for my cell. It was hidden underneath the sheets of paper and the call was from my boyfriend.
“Hello?” I picked it up as my face brightened, he made me blushed randomly every time he called.
“Yeah! So, you need me to fetch you up?” Romeo's tone was submerged with care but I could feel he's tired. Daniel's hands continuing from what it's doing.
“No. I'm good, Daniel will drive me home, he told me,” and a soft moan escaped my mouth as he pressed the point where the ache coming from, I tried to ensconce but it rightly slipped.
“I'll be home in a little while,” I added, there was a second of dead air from the other line, Romeo must be very tired and sleepy.
“I know you're exhausted every after work, and I don't want to be a bug from your hectic schedules, I'll be fine, okay?”
“Don't worry about me. I love you..” I gave him an auspicious answer so at least his uncertainly thoughts what's happening about me might lessen.
“Okay. I love you too,” he replied weakly, he does not need to undergo such a stressful work if only he had accepted my offer. But he is my man – and a man of his words. Then the call aborted.
We kept up for the next minutes like that, massaging me. Then I told him that he had to drive me home as it's getting late, he agreed and started helping, packing up my things. The drive was cold and fast as he parked his car in front of the building.
“Thanks, Daniel,” I said before I get off, he smiled and replied.
“Good night. Bye!” his ever gentle voice – like cottony soft, warming up the night. I grinned then he drove away. I walked upstairs to my apartment – my room, and to my surprise, Romeo wasn't here. It's past twelve and maybe they have overtime. I soughed.
I took a bath, did my skincare and I'm done with my nightly routine but there's still no sign of Romeo, I grabbed my phone to call him but there's a sudden banged – the door opened.
He was standing on the door frame, I can't clearly see his face but I was bowled over by his decisive appearance. I was outbalanced as he nailed me on the table, crashing his lips aggressively, I wanna say something but I couldn't – I felt tense. This is not the Romeo I've known. He was gripping my neck, his tongue snaked in eagerly and I was sucking hard for air – breathlessly.
“Are you tipsy?” I asked, heaving.
“Where have you been?” as an etched line drawn on my forehead, he didn't reply, he looks severe and keeping a steadfast picture, “Are you out of your mind?”
“No! But you're driving me crazy!” He didn't let me give a chance to speak, he knew how I hated it cutting me off but if it's Romeo – if it's his lips – I'd be gladly fell for it. Again he forcedly fastened our lips, his mouth had a hint of the taste of alcohol, he threw me over to my bed –nailing me helplessly.
The weight of his body strikes me down as he sexily positioned atop of me. I sensed a tightening from his pants – beginning again our erotic session.
His kisses tracked down the crook of my neck, Now, I wasn't delighted on what he's doing – he was aggressive – like hungry for flesh? I don't know what's steering him intense, why he was a bit drunk from the first place. I'm panting and compelled him by pushing away to postpone what he was doing.
“What's wrong with you?” My eyes bulged glancing at his unusual demeanor. I know he had a reason why he was acting strange. Why he was not the Romeo – my boyfriend I have remembered.
“Why?” he spat bitterly, I was cornered, I can't change position, his knee pinned on my groin, his hands above my shoulder and the other on my chest.
“Did Daniel overthrew all of my performances?” I was stunned – completely lost about what he conceded. My chest huffing in resentment. I didn't say a word but my hand came to life and it flicked to his face soundly.
He straightened and sit up, I'd never seen that scrutiny before, his palm brushing his cheek, and tears overrunning my eyes.
“I'm sorry Romeo – I'm really sorry.” cupping his cheeks gently and he never darted his adorable eyes – will he not look at me?
“Don't give me that look of yours if you'd already shared it with someone.” the muscles on my face scrunched. Romeo exhaled shakily and eyes weren't into mine.
I think I'm going insane – I don't know what he was accusing me about, but one thing obvious it was about Daniel, he had mentioned Daniel's name.
“Is there something I should have to know?” I asked calmly, tilting his head with my fingers on his chin, inside his enticingly chocolate eyes a flickering of emotions swirling through.
“I'm glad you've already found someone better and could give you a fairer day – life. And Daniel will be always better than me.” and tears cascading from his eyes, down to his cheeks – down to my hands.
What did Daniel do to him? What did he f#*%k'ng do to my boyfriend?
He stands up and walks to exit, he left me on the bed sitting in yoga-like position, cross-legged – appearing as an outcast.
“Are you breaking up with me?” that's the crystal clear thought popped up when he told those. He stopped his posture against me.
“If that's what you wanted.” but he never looked back. If he is really breaking up with me, I'd rather die. He is my world – my precious – my everything.
“NOOOOOOO!” I screamed, weeping like a baby.
“Ro – ROMEO!” hiccups fleeing from my lips, I run towards him – embracing him, and dug my face on his back, feeling his semi built trapezius.
“You know that's not what I wanted, I wanted you to stay – I wanted you with me.”
“Do I need to beg for you to stay?” I can't talk to him when he's like this, no one will get a good conversation from a person under the presence of alcohol. I know that was solely subverting – pleading for someone to stay, but because I love him – I will.
Romeo holds my wrists, withdrawing it from my hugged, then he faced me.
“No. You don't have to, 'cause I love you.” tears streaming down from both of our cheeks, like a waterfall, cupping my tomatoey colored complexion. I pulled him by his collar and joined our lips.
“I love you!” for a second I already imagined he was really backing out from our relationship.
“I'm sorry,” he said.
“I'm sorry,” I replied.
“I love you.” he let out, and I take his shirt off, he takes mine. He jerked me pinning to the wall and hoisted to his hips, my legs were departed, his tongue sliding quietly to my mouth, battling bodaciously. Meanwhile, this is some kind of unexpected and both were just carried away by emotions – by conflagrant eroticism.
Romeo started thrusting me, the magic's still inside his pants and both moaning pleasurably.
