Chapter 28 - All Too Well

We woke up late and Romeo prepared his things carelessly - I helped him. Our apartment looks like it had been stricken by a tsunami that things and clothes were disintegrated on the floor. We didn't take a bath and get ourselves dressed. He was panicking as I am happily studying his demeanor - sweat but a bit ameliorated.

"See you after three days." he kissed me and my hand snaked at the back of his head, standing in front of the apartment building, he aborted, but me being a bit heated - I fastened our lips back so randy.

"You didn't gargle your mouth, haven't you?" I asked, biting my lip and he just smiled.

"I did, last night!" he stated.

"The first thing you must do when you get to the office is to brush your teeth. It tastes like - " he smacks my lips and nodded, raising a peace sign done back. He was stepping backward and said, "Goodbye."

Watching him leave and I strut off the opposite way. But I looked back.

"Romeo, wait!" he glanced, the bus stopped and passengers started loading. His eyes were confused, wrapping myself on his body.

"What?" he asked, I looked up tilting my head,

"I want to come with you on your workplace, is that okay?" he chuckled, fastening his arm on my shoulder and we're the last to enter the bus. Since I'm late, skipping my morning classes would be an option.

"Great!" he chirped.

Afternoon - walking through the field as a shortcut and my bag swung over my shoulder. I've noticed that students from the engineering department are leaving and I didn't mind. When I reached our division most started taking off.

"Where is everyone going?" I asked Daniel before I could enter the laboratory as he was standing on the door frame and I'm a bit shock. He walked pass by me and leaving.

"Where have you been this morning?" he asked, Gelli's trailing his paces and I did the same.

"I'm feeling sick. Sorry!" I lied, the truth was I accompanied Romeo before going on his trip.

"There's a memo of class suspension due to the bad weather," he answered and grabbed his keys, Gelli's busy with her phone - her boyfriend's on the line.

"But it's still sunny."

"Yeah! They must be excited." he laughed, looking back at me and I smiled.

"Is the defense canceled too?" I asked, our track shifted, and now heading through the parking lot.

"Nope! That's why we're going to my house preparing for tomorrow's final defense."

"Gelli, are you coming with us?" he spoke to his friend that is badly bustling. Daniel shifted his sight directly at me.

"You're hitching in my car, right?" I nodded and waiting for his friend's reply.

"My boyfriend and I had a fight - " she complained and cursed. My surprised look met Daniel's disturbed one - he grimaced and raised a brow. Her red lips keep blurting bad words.

"I can't fricking come!" Gelli screamed and yanked the finished output of our project inside her laptop's sling bag.

"You guys can continue studying - I can handle myself tomorrow. Good luck to us." and she handed the hardbound books, acknowledging it.

"It'll get better soon," I told and her eyes blazing, she hasn't said a word and turned her heels.

We jumped inside his car and Daniel started driving. I feel sad for Gelli - I knew that feeling to be in a quarrel with that someone you love and I mean what I said. My eyes surveying the atmosphere outside as it looks no storm is approaching.

"The storm will arrive in two days or before, two days." Daniel glancing at me, breaking the silence and I'm alarmed. "If that's what you're looking up at the sky - that's what they've forecasted if it'll remain on its speed."

We've arrived at his house - I've only been here once but I'm obsessed already on its comfortableness and warmth.

"I think I can sleep here all day!" laying on his bed that I didn't get to see before - the fitted sheet's so soft as well as the duvet cover is so fluffy with six queens sized pillows on his king length bed.

"Feel at home and I'll get us some snack." Putting his bag and I sit up. His room is so expensive and how much more the whole house.

I pulled the books inside my bag and my laptop - I turned it on, reading from my own notes and summary I made, based on the elaborate book. Daniel tapped my shoulder placing three different bowls of chips and cans of cola on the bed with a tray.

"Why don't we ask each other a question about our project?" he initiated and sit from the footboard while my back positioned on his fully carved headboard.

"Sure!" and I picked from the bowl of sweet-flavored corn chips - this tastes motivating. He keeps reading from the book and at the same time eating. Daniel opened the cola and handed it generously, I smiled.

"Is this a food trip or study time?" I joked.

"Both, I prefer." and he laughed cutely. I keep skimming from my laptop then I laid totally on his comfortable bed and he grabbed my foot massaging, with my socks on - I moaned slightly.

"How did you come up with this idea?" he began asking, I'm looking up at the ceiling while continuing his extra service.

"As the evolution of the world and civilization becoming high-tech this idea would help the health care system and its operation more easily and efficiently - this proposal may cost much but we can tell clearly the result all worthwhile. How about that?" I chuckled and raised my body, my two elbows aiding the load of it to get a glimpse at Daniel's.

"You have to go deeper and further for me, but I get the idea."

"Okay, I'll take note of that." he smiled, proceeding with my next foot, pressing it from the sole and it's so relaxing. "Are you a therapist?"

His brows met and lips curled.

"I'm not, but I'm used to committing the massage for my parents once they have had requested." I nodded and his angelic face smiled.

"That's why you have that talent." and he placed my foot on his groin and sipped from his drink.

"How its system works?" I asked, giving my foot a soft enthralling touch and answered, "It is operated by remote control and also our own made tablet that all files and data is connected securely so hackers that will try to decipher, it will automatically shut their network - also the operator should log in and it can immediately scan his or her health vitals once they wore the designed bracelet, by sending electro waves through the body, non-ionizing radiation."

"Brilliant!" clapping my hand - and he smiled shyly. He looked down from the book and scanning for questions, maybe. I tossed some potato chips inside my mouth and drown the salty taste with the cold cola.

"By any chance, could I win your heart?" Daniel asked, his hands busy from its own business as I started skimming from my laptop that was placed on my chest.

"That is some kind of - irrelevant - and - " my voice slows down - it hits me, I truly get the meaning as I put down my laptop and glanced at his direction. Daniel crawled at my body up to my face, begin again inhaling his costly perfume.

"By any chance Kris, can I be your boyfriend?" I was breathing deeply and slowly, my eyes bulging while piercing me with his go-getting demeanor - What brought that up inside his mind asking me that question, fully comprehending that I have a boyfriend - I'm in a relationship.

I'm frozen at the moment and I can't dribble words. Daniel staring at me with his dexterous eyes having an open view of my complexion. His head leaning closer as my eyes shut and - Oh my God!
