"On tuesday the 27th, lieutenant colonel John laurens was killed in a gunfight against british troops in south carolina,these troops had not yet received word from yorktown that the war was over. he's buried here until his family can send for his remains. As you may know, lieutenant colonel Laurens was engaged in recruiting 3,000 men for the first all black militaryregiment. The surving member of this regiment have been returned to their masters..."

Today is the day that we honor a Brave but Reckless Soldier. Today is the day were we hold our love and Remembrance in our hearts of a man who has done well for American and to his all black regiment.

This man has done great for his country.

Even though he was a Reckless man he still tried his hardest and died while trying.

We shall keep John Laurens in our memory and in our hearts for you have done something that we as people are proud of.

Even though he was unable to live past glory and he was not able to outlive it.

He was still a man... Who American should not forgot.

Even though he was Reckless and didn't really use his brain at times, He is still soldier even though he was depressed he was still a great solider.
