Broken Generation

“Wh-what we that?” Austin stuttered, staring at Alan with wide eyes.

Alan instantly blushed, and looked away from Austin. “Umh, it was nothing. Forgive me.” Alan said with his head down.

“No, I’m pretty sure you meowed, Alan.” Austin said, this voice still surprised.

Alan leaned back, and rolled onto his stomach on the bed, and hide his face in the mattress. “I dunno, I wasn’t thinking. Sorry.” Alan apologized.  Alan felt like he was going to die and cry of embarrassment. He mentally slapped himself for ruining his friendship with Austin because he was too careless.

Austin was leaning over the boy to hear him, and Austin instantly felt guilty. “Oh, Alan, I didn’t mean to embarrass you. I just wanted to make sure I heard you right.” Austin said, trying to comfort the boy. He heard Alan let out a sad whimper, and a murmur of ‘it’s weird’. Austin chest tightened at the boy’s sadness. He didn’t wanted Alan to be sad, so Austin started rubbing the ginger’s back. “It’s okay Alan, it’s not weird. I thought it was kind of cute and fitting.” Austin said to calm the boy.

Alan heart grew at the praise. Alan rolled over onto his back and stared at Austin, who was leaning over him.

“Better?” Austin asked, smiling at the boy.

“Yeah, but you didn’t think it was weird?” Alan asked, unsure of Austin’s reaction.

Austin’s smile just grew bigger. “It’s wasn’t weird at all Alan. Nothing you do is weird Alan. You’re amaz-.” Before Austin could finish, the doorbell rang, and as if on cue, Austin stomach growled.

Alan let out an adorable giggle, and jumped up from his place on the bed. “Better feed the beast.” Alan giggled as he walked out of the room, leaving Austin gasping.

Austin was always speechless when Alan was so cute.

Then it hit Austin.

He and Alan were like Beauty and The Beast.

And if they were anything like the fairy tale, they would end up in love forever.

God, Austin wanted to end up like the fairytale.

Austin stomach growled once more, remaining him that,

God, Austin wanted some pizza.

And maybe some Alan.

Definitely some Alan.

“You have pizza sauce on your nose.” Alan giggled cutely.

Austin quickly grabbed a napkin from the center of the table, and wiped his nose, while Alan was giggling the whole time.

“Is it all gone?” Austin asked worriedly, staring concerned at Alan.

Alan just giggled softly and replied. “You’re all clean. I never knew you could grab something that fast.”

Austin just laughed, and stared at Alan.

Alan returned the gazed and let himself fully admire Austin.

Austin was very handsome.

Very intimidating.

Very scary.

But that wasn’t truly Austin.

Austin was handsome, and adorable in a weird way.

Austin was intimidating, but had the kindest heart.

Austin was scary, but not to Alan.

Austin was perfect.

Alan accepted that.

Alan knew Austin was perfect for him.

They were perfect for each other.

~~~
Austin was getting anxious. He wanted to hug, cuddle, and kiss Alan every second, and he was very… frustrated… down there.
Austin couldn’t help it. He found that during movies, which Alan somehow got Austin to sit through “My Neighbour Totoro” which wasn’t as bad as Austin thought, Alan liked to wiggle around, and crawl all over the place, and Austin couldn’t help looking at Alan bottom.
Now Austin was laying on a blow-up mattress on Alan’s floor, waiting for Alan to come back from the bathroom. Austin was thinking of what he could bring up to find out if Alan was even gay. Austin was pretty sure Alan was, but he wanted to confirm it.
Alan rose from the bathroom and crawled onto his bed.
“Alan?” Austin asked, laying on his back on the mattress.
“Yes?” Alan said, looking up at the ceiling.
“How accepting are you?” Austin asked, hoping that the next events turn out the way he predicts.
Alan paused for a moment. “I’m accepting of everything as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone, why?”
Austin smiled, “I have something I need to say, and I feel that I need to tell you.”
Alan became nervous and excited. He wanted Austin to trust him, and he knew this was Austin trusting him. “You can tell me anything Austin.”
Austin took a deep breath.
“I’m gay.”
~~~

“Me too”

That was music to Austin’s ears.

That made Austin one step closer to stealing Alan’s love.

He smiled, and let the silence fill the room.

“Have you ever been with a guy?” Alan said quietly.

Austin laughed and replied. “No, because I never found one that I had a chance with.” Austin confessed.

“What do you mean ‘chance with’?” Alan asked, sounding very confused. “You could have almost anyone Austin, you have that bad boy thing that people like.”

Austin’s happiness grew at that. “Bad boy? I’m a bad boy?” Austin teased.

“I-I didn’t mean it that way, just answer my question.” Alan squeaked.

Alan was going to be the death of him.

“Well, all the guys were straight, and I didn’t want to pressure them onto me, so I just backed off.” Austin said sadly.

Alan’s heart wept at that. “But I’m sure someone has liked you.” Alan said hopefully.

Austin just awkwardly laughed. “I’m sure they have, but it’s just hard to come out gay, and finding someone else who has. You get what I’m saying right?” Austin asked.

Alan thought for a little bit. “I guess I have, I just never really been interested in any guy around here, except for someone, but that doesn’t matter.” Alan said, quickly releasing what he said was a grave mistake.

Austin was surprised by Alan.

Was Alan flirting with him again?

Austin was secretly hoping it would end like the last time with a meow.

“So, who’s the lucky gentleman to steal your heart?” Austin said, curious and confident.

Alan cheeks became red, and even though there was no lights on in the room, he flipped over and hid his face in the pillow. “I-It’s no one important. I just have a crush, nothing big.” Alan stuttered out.

Austin face broke into a huge smile. “Well, I have a crush too.” Austin said, a little too cocky.

Alan became curious and hopefully, almost like Austin was a mere moment ago. “Who is your crush?”

“Well, if I tell you, will you tell me?” Austin asked.

Of course, Alan replied with “Yes” and flipped over to face Austin on the floor.

“Pinky promise?” Austin said, holding out his pinky for Alan to cross.

“Pinky promise.” Alan replied, wrapping his pinky around Austin’s.

Alan’s pinky was so much smaller than Austin’s, making him blush.

Austin’s pinky was so much bigger than Alan’s, making him smile.

“Want to say it at the same time?” Austin suggested.

“Sure.” Alan replied, still watching their hugging fingers.

“On the count of three.”

“One.” Alan’s heart started beating really fast.

“Two.” Austin knew this could be a make-it-or-break-it to their relationship.

“Three” Now or never.

“You”

Alice: I love writing cliche books because I get to focus more on the fluffiness of the book rather than the task of making a story non-cliche. Also, I totally don’t mind if you guys point out that I wrote Austin in places I was suppose to write Alan, or vise versa. I actually encourage it.  Anywho, you guys know the drill, vote and comment on how you feel about this, it makes me happy and I will reply to you, so you can ask questions if you like. Also, I made a playlist for this chapter because this chapter is cute, and I dunno.

We’ll call this playlist,
