Hi! So today I decided to watch a show called "Heartstopper" because I had heard that it was good and wanted to see what the hype is about.

And it absolutely deserves all the love it's getting.

For those who don't know, Heartstopper is a show about our LGBTQ+ protagonists dealing with things like homophobia (and implied transphobia) as well as discovering your sexuality and being comfortable with it.

It's really cute, and I like that it shows relatable problems that most openly queer people face, instead of making the "big problem" being finding a way to come out. Yes, there's a couple of coming out scenes in the show, but it mostly focuses on the romance of our protags and the bullying they get for being queer.

Unfortunately there's only 8 episodes so far, but there is a second season coming, and I'm really excited for it!

I'm not gonna spoil it, but if you have Netflix and enjoy watching a gay love story between two British teenagers, then I totally recommend.

Also, if anyone wants to recommend good LGBTQ+ centric shows/movies on Netflix or Disney+ (that actually has fleshed out LGBTQ+ characters and not "hey, there's a gay person in this one millisecond of the movie"), please do so. I am greatly missing my queer rep in media ever since The Owl House finished its second season.
