"Focus Hope, focus!" Opal screamed at the goalkeeper who was struggling to keep her eye on the ball as Lloyd and Press tore down the field. Lloyd took a shot and settled it in the right corner of the goal, Hope diving the other way.

The Asian captain glared at the brunette. "Get in the game," Opal shouted, determined to not let the team fall apart.

The practice was long and painfully hot. But the weather wasn't Hope's problem. Carli Lloyd was. The girl was a complete bitch! She tackled anybody she got the chance to and sneered at Hope with disgust when she made a brilliant save. There was something about the chocolate eyed midfielder that the keeper found odly attractive. Maybe it was the woman's drive to be her best or the way she bit her lip when she was stressed or anxious.

No, Hope wasn't a stalker. Just a highly observant bitchy crush watcher. That wasn't the right word to use with Carli. Crush? It couldn't be, Hope thought. The fierce girl was dating her high school sweetheart, and thought she was straight as hell. But even if the keeper had feelings for Carli, it seemed as if the mid hated her; never talking to Hope or attempting to make eye contact.  

"You okay?" Alex asked the goalie, knocking her out of her thoughts. Hope jumped slightly, not realizing that the forward had approached her.

"Oh yeah, I'm fine," Hope said, shaking her Carli centered thoughts out of her mind. Alex raised an eyebrow as she filled with suspicion, but kept quiet, not wanting to pester the older girl anymore.

Tobin walked into the room she shared with Carli, only to find Allie sitting on her bed. That's weird.

"How did you get in?" the brunette asked, dropping her textbooks on the tiny desk. Allie responded by holding up a key.

"Carli gave it to me." Tobin nodded. That made sense. Carli and Allie had met a few days ago, and were already friends.

"Okay. What's up?" Tobin asked. Allie looked at her, grinning. "I have a surprise for you."

The brunette raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"

Allie laughed. "I can't tell you, silly. Otherwise, it wouldn't be a surprise!" Tobin reluctantly let her best friend pull her out the door and down the hallway. The duo made their way into the blonde's room, which was identical to Tobin's except it had bright blue sheets on her bed.

"Guess!" Allie squealed, hiding something behind her back. The blonde didn't wait for her friend to guess, because she pulled to tickets out, beaming. Tobin's grin only became bigger as she realized what they were.

"Two tickets to... the Broadway version of Aladdin!" The girls said in unison. The Disney movie had literally been their childhood- they would snuggle on Allie's couch and watch Aladdin every night as children. It had been their dream since they graduated middle school to see their first Broadway show together. And now it was finally happening!
