All Stars: Chapter 27

^^Nobody deserves to feel that way, especially our Cinnamon roll goalkeeper. ^^

"Babe," the tall man demanded angrily. "Don't stop me!"

Hope glared at him. "Jerr," she said, trying to keep her voice calm. "I'm just not in the mood to have sex today."

Jerramy rolled his eyes obnoxiously. "Fine," he finally agreed, pulling his jeans up over his plaid underpants and buckling them.

Hope sighed in relief, pulling her hair up into the ponytail her boyfriend had aggressively took out.

Alex was spending the Saturday out with Kelley, and Hope had the dorm room to herself. Since Jerramy was visiting her from Seattle, she wanted to hang out with him for the day, maybe watch a movie or go on a dinner date- not the things he wanted to do.

Reluctantly, the quarterback fell back on the couch next to Hope, watching as she surfed through the channels to try and find something intriguing.

Eventually, the keeper stopped when she saw the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie playing. She liked the second one the best, but she knew this one was Jerramy's favorite, so she tried to enjoy it.

Halfway through it, Jerramy muted it during a commercial, turning towards Hope and kissing her passionately. Hope, who wasn't expecting it, pushed him off almost immediately.

Jerramy frowned at her. "Solo, what the fuck is wrong with you? You used to love that. You use to always want to have sex. It's  like there's a whole nother woman. I don't like it."

Hope blushed, feeling guilty. "I'm sorry."

Jerramy's frown deepened. "Babe, is there someone else?" he asked quietly.

Hope's eyes widened. Was there? Frantically, she shook her head. "No, Jerramy! It's only you. It will only ever be you. I'm just not feeling too good today. Girl stuff."

Jerramy nodded his head understanding, even though he didn't. "You sure?"

Hope smiled weakly. "100 percent."

The moment she said it, she realized it was a lie.

Allie invited Tobin to go to dinner with her.

The brunette was actually scared of what the mid had up her sleeve. Allie hated to go out to dinner; she would only do so if there was surprise or if someone in her family had died, or was dying.

She told Tobin to "dress nicely", which by her standards meant jeans with no holes and a clean tee shirt. And shoes. Shoes were important.

Saying a quick "bye" to Carli, Tobin made her way to the lobby, where she said she would meet Allie at five.

The blonde was already there, standing awkwardly near the leather couch. Her hair was down and parted on the left with a barrette holding it back. Allie was dressed in a sleeveless shirt in a flowered pattern, white jeans and flip-flops. Tobin thought she looked very pretty.

When Allie saw her friend, her face lit up in a smile and she greeted Tobin with a kiss on the cheek.

Tobin tried to hide her surprise, but she knew some was showing on her face.

"Hey Toby," Allie said, using the brunette's childhood nickname. "You look nice."

Tobin felt herself turning red, running a hand through her hair self consciously. "Thanks Al. Yo-you look good too," she stumbled. Allie smiled widely.

Thirty minutes later, the duo was seated in the Culinary Institute of New York Restaurant, one of the fanciest eats in the city. Tobin felt extremely underdressed, but was glad nobody seemed to notice.

Glancing over the menu, Tobin looked at the prices. It was twenty dollars or more a meal! How the hell was she supposed to afford that?!

Thankfully, Allie looked at her and smiled saying, "Get whatever you want. It's on me."

When the waiter came by, Allie ordered a pesto pasta and the brunette decided on a simple garden salad.

Once the man left, Allie tuned to her friend and smiled nervously.

"Allie," Tobin started, not sure what to say. "Al, do you wa- want..."

Allie looked at her expectantly. "Yes?"

"You know... Do you wanna, like, be my..." the brunette couldn't finish.

"Girlfriend?" Allie asked, raising an eyebrow.

Tobin nodded, looking down into her water goblet. She realized her best friend hadn't said anything. That couldn't be good. But... she hadn't said no, either.

Allie grinned, her cheeks flaring bright red. "Yeah."

Tobin's head snapped up. "Really?"

The blonde nodded, thanking the waiter as their food arrived. Through a mouthful of lettuce, Tobin grinned.

"Hey, Babe!"

Ali smiled at the name, smiling as she felt to warm arms close around her.

"Hi, Ash," the defender said, turning around and greeting the keeper with a kiss.

The blonde smiled, nestling her face into her girlfriend's shoulder. Ali laughed, and a beam light up Ash's face. That was her favorite sound in the world.

Ali pulled away, grabbing the ball the keeper was holding under her arm and dribbling it away from her.

"Hey! Come back here!" Ashlyn protested, looking confused from afar. Ali smirked, kicking the ball back to Ash. It soared through the air and the blonde trapped it with her stomach, giving an "oof" as it made contact. The two were messing around before practice.

She didn't know if it was the rush of adrenalin flowing through her body caused by swing her beautiful girl in front of her or some other compelling force, but the brunette abandoned the ball in the 18 yard box, sprinting to her girlfriend and falling into her arms.

"Jesus," Ashlyn said, wrapping both her arms around the other girl, patting her awkwardly on the back. "Are you okay?"

Ali smiled into the goalie's neck, kissing it softly.

"Yes," she murmured softly, stroking Ash's blonde hair. "I've never been better."
