Why Can't The Doctor Just Stay Quiet? (Eight)
The Doctor and Allison walked down the cobbled street. Allison had a simple light pink dress that went halfway from her knees. She kept her mesh vest on. The Doctor, as usual, has his normal attire on. Today, he had a red bow tie and his beige tweed jacket.
I just love seeing what humanity creates. No matter what century. Isn't it fascinating?! He had a childish grin plastered on his face.
Yes yes it's fascinating. Now can we look around and actually see what 'humanity created'? Allison looked up and the Doctor nodded. She put on an acting face.
"Come on Dad! Let's go see the shops." Allison pulled the Doctor by his arm as she dragged him to the closest cloths shop. She walked up to a mannequin which had a navy blue dress with fringes at the hem. She looked around at all the people in the shop. Most of them were women and children.
I really don't like the wigs. They look stupid. It must be super hot under it. Allison turned around to see the Doctor's response. I instead, she saw the Doctor pacing in the back, obviously thinking. She concentrated on his thoughts.
What did River mean by 'what is yet to come, I look forward to' ? What is happening? Obviously I tell her in the future about Allison but what is so important about her?
Allison didn't take that in a bad way. She knew he was thinking of the significance of her arrival.
But when should I tell her about Gallifrey? I mean she doesn't know that-
"Hey Dad! Let's look some more around town." Allison didn't want to hear what she didn't know. It must be bad if he Doctor couldn't just tell her. 'And what about Gallifrey? Did something happen?' Allison thought as she and the Doctor walked down further into town. They walked by a bakery and a hat store.
Ooh lookie! It's a fez! Allison chuckled.
"You really do like your fezes don't you?" The Doctor looked at her and nodded like it was obvious, which it was. The Doctor energetically walked up to where the fez was while Allison looked at the cakes. One was vanilla with white drizzle and another was chocolate with chocolate shavings sprinkled on top. (A/N-Now I'm hungry.) Allison heard a man arguing.
"Sir. Excuse me sir! You are not allowed to take that. Sir!" She turned and saw the Doctor, who had a fez on, the shop owner arguing at him. Allison started to walk over but she wanted to see where this was going.
The shop owner was older, maybe in his late fifties.
"Sir. Are you listening to me? You are not allowed to take that! It's not even that interesting." Allison could sense that the Doctor was going to do something. She started to run but it was too late.
"What do you mean by 'it's not even that interesting'? Fezes are cool!" The Doctor looked around, ready to challenge anyone who questioned him. Instead, they all stared. The Doctor's British accent was very obvious. He didn't know why everyone was staring. Then it came to him.
"Oh. I see. Well, Allison, we should really be going so...bye!" The Doctor grabbed Allison's hand and ran. They heard shouts as they tried to get away. The Doctor stopped suddenly as they found soldiers blocking their path. (A/N-I know that was quick but let's just say that they were very close to the area.) It was Harrison. He smiled costly.
"Can't speak huh?" He held his musket to the Doctor's face. "Please come with me."
