Lets Find The Doctor (one)
A/N This is my first fan fic that is not a short story. Please leave suggestions and don't judge too much please. Hopefully you guys enjoy!
Allison's POV
I woke up groggily. My eyelids didn't seem to want to open but I made them. I looked around to see a room. Well, more like a lab. It had desks full of equipment and buttons. It looked like it hadn't been used in years. I tried to get up but my muscles felt like rubber. I fell back down and tried to look for an exit. I saw a monster that read the time date and year.
13:07, March 05 2157
Great. I'm in the future. Well, at least I think I am. I hear footsteps and turn my head to the right to see a woman walk up. She had a green tee shirt, white jacket and combat boots. She didn't look like a scientist, more like a soldier of some sort.
"Oh good, you're awake. I was afraid it would take longer for your body to process the medications." Wait, what medications? "I'm sorry, is this too much to handle ? I can see you're confused."
"Where am I?"
"You're currently on an abandoned space research facility orbiting Jupiter."
"How did I get here?" I have no idea what I'm doing here so I need answers.
"You just sort of, teleported here half conscious. Do you have any idea where you came from or anything? Here, let's start simple. What's your name?"
"I-I think it's Allison. I don't remember really anything, sorry." She woman just nodded like she knew that already.
"What do you remember last?" Wow, she really wants to know badly. So I searched my brain for the most recent memories.
"A war. A big one."
"And what was this war?" I was about to say that I can't remember but then it came to me.
"The Time War."
Mysterious Woman's POV
The Time War. That can't be. That ended hundreds of years ago. Allison looked like she wasn't lying. The girl in front of me somehow knew about the war across all of time and space. She couldn't. Unless...no. It's possible. I fiddled with the gun that was strapped beside my hip.
"How do you know about the Time War?" I wanted to know but I had a feeling she couldn't remember.
"I'm sorry, I don't know." Great. I had no information. She just teleported on this reasearch center and blacked out. I tried to giver her medications but her body seemed to take a long time to process it.
"You get some rest. I'll be right back okay?" She nodded and I walked out into what resembled a recreation room. Is this her? He told me about her a couple of years ago but I didn't believe it. Of course I wouldn't. It's too crazy. That means I have to do one thing. I walked back to where Allison was. She was drawing smiley faces in the dust.
"I didn't catch your name. What is it?"
"It doesn't matter right now. I need you to find someone for me and deliver a message." Allison just looked up at me.
"How am I supposed to find them? I don't have a ship or anything. And who am I finding?"
"I've got that covered." I pulled up my sleeve and removed the time vortex manipulator I got a while back. I punched in some settings and covered it while I gave it to her. "This should pinpoint his ship. I'm not sure where you'll end up but he'll know. As for who, you are looking for a special man, unlike anybody you've met. I'm sorry if this is too much to handle but this is important." Allison nodded slowly.
"What is the message?" I just smiled. I whispered it to her and she just looked at me confused.
"That's a weird message but okay." I pulled something out of my pocket that came with her.
"Here. I think this belongs to you. I found it in your pocket." I rolled it to her. She examined it and then put it in her pocket.
"Um thanks. Not sure what this is but okay. Who am I looking for again?" I smiled kindly at her. When he sees her, he'll have a right fit.
"You're looking for a man called The Doctor."
Third Person POV
The Doctor ran around the TARDIS console. She was acting a little strange. He was pushing buttons here and there.
"What is it girl? What's bothering you?" She ran to the other side and checked the monitor. Flight pattern seemed normal. He was just cruising around a forming star when suddenly the TARDIS stopped. "No!" He shook his hands in frustration. "No. Don't do this!" The time machine shook and the Time Lord fell to the floor. Suddenly, like nothing happened, she started up again. The Doctor held the console.
"What was that?" He check the monitor again and it picked up a life form on the ship.
"How did you get there?" He smiled and ran to the library. He didn't check the rest of the scan. He left without seeing what was onscreen. If he saw, it would save him a lot of time.
The Doctor ran into the library to find a very wet teenage girl. She had a baggy short sleeve pink shirt with a white mesh vest and pale blue jeans and emerald green eyes. What was most shocking was her shoulder length hair. It was bright blue. She just looked at the Doctor.
"Can I have a towel please?" She just stood there, one hand on her hip with water dripping off her. The Doctor stopped staring and went to get this mystery girl a towel. When he came back, she was ringing her hair out.
"Um, who are you?" The Doctor looked as this girl who recently just appeared in his pool.
"I'm not one hundred percent sure about that subject but I'll try my best." She smiled and did a little wave. "Name's Allison."
"How did you get here? How could anybody get in the TARDIS?" Allison reached for her wrist. She had a time vortex manipulator.
"I was sent to find a dude and deliver a message."
"Well that's awfully cryptic. Who sent you?" Allison just shrugged. The Doctor got a little annoyed at her noncompliance. "Fine. I'm the Doctor." He was expecting for her to ask 'Doctor who?' like they always do but instead, her face lit up like she realized something.
"Oh right! I was sent to find the Doctor or something." The Time Lord looked in shock.
"Who sent you? How did you get on the TARDIS?"
"I don't know. She just said to send you a message." The Doctor looked intrigued. Who could possible send her?
"What's the message?"
"Hello sweetie."
Allison's POV
I can't believe of all places, I landed in the pool. Why is there a pool in the library? I dried off with the towel the Doctor gave me. I sat in the main room with the controls, answering the questions that came at me.
"Are you sure that that's the message and not something else?" The Doctor looked at the monitor and kept rubbing his forehead.
"How many times to I have to say: yes and I can't remember anything else." I twirled my hair around my finger. He sighed in frustration.
"So River sent you. Why though?" I sighed.
"I don't know." He fiddled with his hands and readjusted his bow tie when he looked like he figured something out.
"Do you know where she is?" I tried to remember what the screen said in the research facility.
"A scientific research facility orbiting Jupiter. I think it was March fifth, 2157. Umm, about one o'clock. Sorry, that's all I got." The Doctor punched something in the console
"Why can't you remember?"
"The woman said that I teleported on the station half conscious. I can't remember anything that's happened over the past say, ten years?" The Doctor seemed to understand.
"But who would do that and why?" I just gave him a you're-kidding-me-right look. "Right, you don't know. I think I know just who to call." He looked at me with a mischievous grin.
"Let's go get my wife."
Okay! That was the first chapter. Sorry for all the POV switches but I wanted the chapter to be long-er. Please leave suggestions here
