Brendan sighs. As he walks down Route 102, he can't help but remember back when he lead Wally out here. When he caught that Ralts here, Brendan couldn't help but feel impressed, almost jealous of him.

"Brendan?"

He spins around to see no other than the younger green-haired boy.

"What a-are you doing here?" Wally asks, looking at his shoes.

"Well, now that I'm living with Dad in Petalburg, I'm just hanging out in the forest more often. You?"

"Well, Gallade wanted to come back."

Brendan nods. "I feel like it's been forever since we've seen each other."

"Too long," Wally agrees. "I still can't believe you defeated Steven, and now you're living in Petalburg City, out of all places."

Brendan smiles. "Well, where else would I go?"

"Anywhere you want!"

"I think I like it, here, Wally."

"Why?"

"Because I get to see you more."

The green-haired boy turns away, his face red. "Don't let me stop you from exploring the region more."

"Well, if you want me to leave, then I guess I'll just go pack my bags." Brendan shrugs, heading out of the grass slowly.

"Wait!" Wally grabs Brendan's arm.

He turns around, grinning. "Yes?"

"I-I want you to-- I mean, I l-- just don't--" The short boy stutters, blinking back tears.

Brendan leans in and kisses Wally. "Do you really think I would leave you the week after I come home?" He whispers, pulling away.

Wally just nods.
