Dawn smiles. She's finally getting to spend time alone with Zoey. Why Zoey would want to hang out with her is a mystery.

"Dawn, there you are!" Zoey dashes toward the younger girl, grinning.

Dawn recognizes her white and light blue outfit as the one she wore to the Jubilife contest. "Nice to see you again."

"I know. Ever since the Grand Festival, we've both been so busy. You went off on your own journey and I became all famous, I guess." She remarks, sitting down next to the younger girl on a bench.

"So, uh, Zoey?"

"What's up?"

"Uh, why did you suddenly want to spend the day with me?" Dawn stares down at her shoes.

"What, two girls can't just hang out together for no reason?" The redhead laughs and stands in front of Dawn. "Well, come on!" She grabs Dawn's hands and pulls her to her feet. "We're getting too serious, I want you to have fun while I'm still here."

Dawn collapses onto a bench, grinning at Zoey. "That was great."

"Yeah, I'm gonna miss you, Dawn."

"What?"

"I-I'm moving to Hoenn. I didn't wanna tell you, but... How couldn't I?" The redhead murmurs.

Dawn says nothing. She finally looks up at Zoey with a look of disbelief.

"It's for work. I couldn't say no." She tries to defend herself.

"When are you leaving?"

"Tomorrow."

The two girls sit together for what feels like hours until finally Zoey speaks up. "D-do you uh, no, no, it would never work. Never mind, I never said anything. Just forget it."

"Are you sure? Zoey, even if you just told me you were moving to the Distortion World, I would still go with you."

She glances at Dawn, letting a tiny grin escape. "Are you trying to say that you want to come with me?"

"No matter what. This can't be the last time we get to see each other."

The readhead nods. "Thank you."

Oy, this idea came out of nowhere and onto this page. Appealshipping is completely underrated since it has to compete with all of those other popular ships. But when I don't ship Ikari (which is pretty often) I ship Appeal. It's perfect, I don't care what any of you think. I hope you enjoyed!
