Eleven: Day with Once-ler

Jack

"It's been two weeks.", I said to my co-workers. "What's been the progress?"

Audrey stood up with a cheerful smile, "We've done almost one-eighth of all the frames... but I guess they'll be adding new scenes, right?"

I nodded, turning to Elsa, "Have they approved your designs?"

She sheepishly smiled, "Some... but they said I still had to work on Ember's hair, since it looked too simple."

"Okay, I guess we have more than enough time to get this settled.", I said to all of them. "Back to work, guys."

Elsa

As soon as Jack went back to his office, I opened up my laptop and started clicking another canvas to work on Ember's design. Basically, the first draft of her had her bright red hair down on her back, while the ends were turning into flames. 

At first, I thought of something like Flame Princess, you know, that girl from a TV show about twenty years ago. But her hair design looked much like Queen Elsa's "evil" designs, which had a tendency to get trashed again.

I brought my hand up to my already disheveled head of hair, "Geez, what do these people want?"

Thia's head popped up from her cubicle, "Why not try something like that girl from Brave's hair?"

"Like Merida?", I asked.

"Yeah, that's her.", she frowned. "Geez, I just realized that she has the same name as that girl from the effects dep."

"I guess of the same hairstyle too!", Audrey giggled along with us.

Audrey approached me, "Hey, why not take a stroll in the Museum?"

"Yeah, the past artwork from Pixar might give you some inspiration.", Thia nodded in agreement.

"I guess that would help me.", I shrugged.

"Take a pencil, or two.", Audrey said. "I think Once-ler's down there, too."

My eyes lit up, "Once-ler?"

"Yeah, he's been through mental-block as well.", she said.

I hurried down to the elevator and pressed the Mickey Mouse button... which I heard, was the button to press to go to the Museum.

The Mickey Mouse button is only available when it lights up... and if it's not lit up, it doesn't take you anywhere. The button doesn't have a specific time of lighting up, but right now... it is.

I waited patiently for the floor to come up. People say that the museum is on the top floor, and again, it is not accessible most of the time.

The elevator gave a faint chime and the doors opened. Stepping into the floor, I already saw a bunch of artwork.

I giggled with glee as I approached a rare portrait of Eilonwy, if you've actually heard of her. She has a physical resemblance to Aurora, which gave me an Audrey Hepburn feel.

"Too classy.", I said as I walked towards another portrait.

This time around, it was an early sketch of Belle. Her iconic half-down hair was cute, but was it all too used up?

Rapunzel's hair was kinda cool, but I don't picture Ember having extremely long fiery locks. She might burn up the entire town with only a flick of her hair.

"Elsa?", Once-ler appeared behind of a forest-painted canvas. "Surprised to see you 'round here."

"Hi.", I sweetly smiled. "Mental-blocked too, I guess."

"Cool.", he nodded. "Any new ideas?"

"Nope.", I said with a giggle. "Still got none."

"I'm sure you can figure something out.", he said with a smirk. I had a dopey smile again.

Cute guys, please stop smirking.

It makes me melt.

We walked down the lane of portraits, and I could feel his eyes on me...

He stopped, "You know, I haven't said this to you, but you're really pretty." 

My eyes widened, "Uh... thanks."

"You're blushing.", he laughed while poking my cheek.

"Am not!", I turned away with a smile.

He chuckled and tipped his hat, "Okay then."

"Oh Goddesses.", my jaw dropped down on the last portrait in the aisle. "This is perfect."

"Woah, I haven't seen from this movie in a long time.", Once-ler joined me in awe.

The Swan Princess

"It isn't all Disney, but Disney bought the company and the movies three years ago, right?", he mentioned as I was sketching out Odette's facial structure and hair.

"I know!", I smiled. "Good thing Disney's planning Flamed to be a 2D motion picture again."

"Not a fan of CGI?", he asked.

"Well, I'm okay with it.", I cocked my head. "But I guess the 3D-ness is basically for Pixar."

"Agreed.", he smiled.

"It's been awesome hanging out with you, Once-ler.", I gave him a smile.

"You too, Els.", he smirked and looked down. "I'll be staying here... no good ideas yet."

"Well, good luck.", I said. "Thanks again."

"You're welcome Elsa.", he said.

I walked back to the elevator... with that same feeling of his eyes laid on me. I looked back, and there he was... Standing right over there, waiting for the elevator doors to close on me... with a smile.

Jack

After being ultimately bored again in a meeting, I stepped on the elevator to go back to my office.

And as you guessed it, Elsa was there again.

"Hi.", she waved at me.

I smiled, "Hello."

Wait, that wasn't supposed to happen.

"Where were you from?", I asked her.

She was startled, "From the Museum. I had to get some ideas for the design."

I nodded... with no idea how to break the silence.

Suddenly, there was a loud crash and the elevator shaked a bit, which caught Elsa off guard and tumbled down towards me.

I caught her in time, with her eyes locked on mine.

I regained her balance, stood up and moved away from me.

The speakers in the elevator boomed up, "Excuse me, we have experienced some technical difficulties regarding the shaft. Please do not panic... This will take only a few moments."

"Great.", she huffed.

I looked back at her as she sat down on the floor, hugging her legs towards her chest.

This is certainly not gonna me just a "few" moments.

A/N: Goodie! I have now updated after like... a VERY long time.

Sorry guys! Oh, looks like Once-lerxElsa is kinda making some changes in this plot :>

I wonder what's gonna happen in the elevator...
