School:
I walk to class, a little annoyed at Cassandra, Lucy, and Iris. I'm arriving to class after the warning bell!
I walk into English class to hear Mr. Kanold joke, "Your after the warning bell."
The students already in the room look at me and I can feel my cheeks get red. This is so embarrassing!
I quickly sit down and take out my binder.
After a minute, class starts. Just like always, class is fun. I love school!
Once class ends, I head to Math. I'm the first one in class. Phew! I'm not after the warning bell!
In math I sit down, next to the empty seat where my friend Charlotte sits. Charlotte likes school as well, even though it's only a little. That makes class even better!
I see Charlotte walk into the room. She sits down in her seat next to me.
"Your always so early," says Charlotte.
"Last class I entered the classroom after the warning bell! It was so embarrassing!" I tell her.
"Lillian, it's okay if you arrive after the warning bell," says Charlotte.
"I know. It was just embarrassing! The teacher pointed it out!" I exclaim.
"I feel bad for you then," says Charlotte.
The bell rings, and we take out our math binders. Charlotte takes out a creative-looking binder, as she loves arts and crafts.
"I like your binder," I say, noticing that she has changed it a bit since last time.
"Thank you," she says.
"Your welcome. It's very pretty," I say.
The teacher starts the lesson. I'm not as good at math as other subjects, so I make sure to pay attention and study a lot. No one knows that I'm not as good at this class as my other classes. I wish I was better at math, although at least I'm taking Honors Geometry. Some of my friends are in Algebra II. If they take pre-calculus next year, I might be able to take calculus with them third year if I take pre-calculus over the summer I'm going into my third year. That would be nice.
Class ends way too quickly. The teacher gives us our homework, and then the bell rings. I go to my next class, history. I love history!
I arrive at history when there are a few students from the previous class are leaving. I put my stuff down when I notice Lucy outside of the classroom, walking away from class.
That's right... she has history now. Why is she walking away?
I quickly walk out of the classroom to Lucy.
"Lucy!" I call out, getting closer.
"What do you want?" she asks me, annoyed once I reach her.
"You have history now, don't you?" I ask.
"Yeah. What about it? I'm ditching," she says.
"No! You can't ditch!" I tell her, holding onto her shoulder.
"Why? I'm leaving school now anyway. I'll be back for lunch, okay? Just leave me alone," says Lucy.
"No Lucy! You can't!" I say a little loudly.
"I would of already left an hour ago if someone didn't stop me."
"Huh?"
"Never mind. I'm leaving, so let go of me."
"I'm dragging you to class," I say.
I start to pull her to class, although I don't get her far.
"I'll tell the teacher that your ditching," I threaten her.
"I'll just say I had a doctor's appointment or something."
I start to cry.
"Lucy, please attend class!"
"Fine, fine. If that's what you want, I'll attend that stupid class."
I stop crying, and I smile. I then realize that she called the class... the class... that word...
"Don't say that word!"
"Do you want me to go to class or not?"
"I do," I say.
She heads to class with me. I did a good job convincing her!
She walks in looking angry. It was what I had to do. I had to make sure she went to class!
We both sit down in our seats, and class starts.
Class ends and I then walk to lunch.
