((An Undertale Fanfiction. Pacifist Post Genocide))
"Now I see who I was protecting by keeping you here. Not you... But them!"
"St... Still! I believe in you! You can do a little better! Even if you don't think so! I... I promise..."
"And with that power... This world will live on...!"
"Welp. I'm going to Grillby's. Papyrus, do you want anything?"
"Now, now. There's no need to fight. Why not settle this... Over a nice cup of tea?"
"I can help... I can... I can... Please don't kill me."
Their final words haunted your ears as you laid in your bed, eyes closed, pretending to sleep. You heard Toriel close the door behind her and knew the presence of a slice of butterscotch pie sitting soundlessly on your floor. You could also feel another presence... one more... evil. It was back, wasn't it? The demon that comes when you call its name...
Chara.
You feel asleep, feeling your sins crawling on your back.
Draft:
"No, no, no," I . "Not . Please not again."
I threw the blanket over my head as if it could protect me from the one that stole my soul. Unfortunately, the thin sheet could never ward them off. I began to hear their voice as if they were in my head. Again, that is.
"You know, I once had a soul of my own. I didn't even have to steal it." They sighed, "Unfortunately, I lost that soul when I died. Of course, I do thank you for falling on my grave while Asre- Flowey was calling my name. Truly, it worked out wonderfully, didn't it?"
"What more do you want from me." I muttered, my eyes squeezed shut.
"Oh, nothing... yet." They laughed before I felt their presence disperse. I breathed a sigh of relief, despite knowing they'd be back. There was no stopping that.
Before I let myself fall into slumber, I glanced at the floor. The slice of pie was gone.
^^ going to be extended introduction.

(Phew, this is difficult to write lol idek)
"Good morning, my child."
"Good morning, Mom. How'd you sleep?" I asked, hugging her.
"I slept wonderfully, knowing for sure you were completely safe."
I squeezed my eyes shut and hugged her tighter, letting out a nervous laugh. "That's great, Mom." I let go and walked to the kitchen behind her. She pulled a pie put of the oven and I silently took in the sweet aroma. "Cinnamon butterscotch." I breathed.
She laughed at my delighted face as I looked at the pie longingly. "You can have some as soon as it cools off." She told me while taking off her oven mitts.
I smiled at her. "Okay."
I walked to the bookshelf, intending to read while I wait when I hear someone ring the doorbell and Mom yell for me to please get it. I crossed the living and passed the kitchen, opening the door to be greeted by two skeletal faces grinning at me.
"OH HELLO HUMAN, HOW ARE YOU?"
"I'm doing well, Papyrus." I opened the door wider and motioned for them to come in. I walked to the kitchen, Sans and Papyrus already getting to know the living room. "Mom, they're here."
She glanced past the open walkway, and, upon seeing Sans, blushed slightly.
Yep and that's it. Also I posted a new thing called "A Collection of My Old (Unfinished) Stories," so idk you can cringe.
