Y/N's POV

"The first match of the semi finals! Both come from hero families making this a battle of elites! From the Hero course Tenya Iida versés his classmate Shoto Todoroki!" Present Mic shouted.

Tenya ran one way only to get blocked by Todoroki. He ran the other way only for the same thing to happen. I stood up and went to the waiting room to prepare. I won't lie I was a little nervous. Cheers erupted from the stands signalling a winner. I looked at the T.V Todoroki won. It was time for my match.

I've got this! Don't hold back!

I walked onto the stage and smirked at Katsuki, he glared and grinned in determination. The battle started and I stood there waiting for Katsuki to make a move. He ran to me and I teleported behind him and kicked him down.

"Forget about this move?" I asked smirking.

"Gah!" He yelled as he stood back up and turned around.

This time I charged at him throwing explosions his way. He dodged them all.

Ice

Katsuki ran to me and froze a path in the floor causing him to slightly slip. He jumped and threw and explosion at me. I teleported away barely missing the attack.

Can't use ice, think think!

"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?" He smirked.

Mind control.

"No, you nervous about losing Kacchan?" I asked smirking.

"Pfft never!" He yelled.

I activated the quirk, I was in full control. "Now, walk out of bounds."

He turned around and began to walk. The crowd was silent.

"Hurry it up a bit please," I told him.

He sped up and just got out of bounds. I released him and he looked around confused before crying out in frustration.

"Bakugo has stepped out of bounds! Yagi is the winner!" Midnight announced.

I smiled as the crowd cheered.

I looked to Shinsou and smiled. "Thanks for the idea! You have an awesome quirk!"

He smiled softly. I turned to Katsuki he looked furious. I quickly went to the waiting room to get ready for the finals. There would be a short break for us to relax and prepare. I was going up against Todoroki, children of the first and second pro hero. Elites against elite. Tell you what I was extremely nervous. I heard the door open and close, I looked up to see Katsuki.

"Good win," he muttered.

"What was that? Did I hear the great and mighty Kacchan praise someone?" I smirked.

"Shut up," he replied.

I smiled and gave him a hug. "It's okay you did good too!"

I felt him hug back. "Win against icy hot for me will ya?"

I looked to him and stepped back. "Of course! His dad also basically declared war with me."

"What? Is that what he spoke to you about?" He asked confused.

"Yeah that's what the convo was about." I chuckled nervously.

He pulled me into a hug. "Win this match and I'll take you out some time. Lose the match and I won't."

"Alright Kacchan!" I smiled hugging back.

He smiled softly and his cheeks went slightly pink. I think mine did too and we walked off.

"Welcome to the final battle of the U.A high school sports festival! The Daughter of the symbol of piece himself Y/N Yagi! Verses The son of the Hero we all know as no.2 Shoto Todoroki!" Present Mic shouted causing everyone to cheer.

The match begun and Todoroki shot a huge ice wall at me. I teleported begin him and kicked him down and used my explosions to push him further. He turned around and sent a cold glare at me.

Creation!

Before he could attack with his ice again I created a metal pipe. He looked slightly confused but used his ice to get around me.

Electrification!

I made electricity flow through the pipe and I jumped at him. I hit him in the gut with the pipe and he was electrocuted. He still stood up and grabbed my arm.

"Use your left side! Do it Shoto!" Endeavor shouted from the crowd.

Todoroki just threw me away and I landed on my feet. He never used his fire though. I glared at him and ran towards him.

"COME ON TODOROKI! DONT GIBE UP DO YOUR BEST!" Izuku shouted from the crowd.

I jumped to Todoroki using my explosions to propel me higher in the sky. Fire erupted from Todoroki, I used my explosions to do a special move. I used my explosions to fly everywhere to create a spiral of smoke. I charge towards him from the sky and he readied himself to use his fire.

As I got to him he stopped using it and I sent off a huge explosion. Breaking all the ice Todoroki previously created and causing a ton of smoke to appear. When the smoke dispersed I saw that he had hit a pile of his broken ice on the back wall. He was out cold. Everyone was silent.

"Todoroki is out of bounds, that means Yagi is the winner!" Midnight announced.

The crowd erupted in cheers.

"And with that the final match is officially over! The first year champion of the U.A sports festival is Y/N Yagi from class 1-A!" Present Mic announced.

I looked around but everything was blurry. I over used my quirk.

I felt blood pour out my nose before being welcomed into darkness.

"The first years have officially finished all the events, now it's time to relax and enjoy the awards ceremony!" Midnight announced.

I heard the crowd cheering as a blinding light shone above us. We were raised on a platform signalling who placed what in the event. I was in first place. Todoroki in second and Katsuki in third.

"Tenya Iida actually shares the third place award with Katsuki but unfortunately he had to leave for family reasons, gotta love to familiar bonds!" Midnight said as she made herself look cute for the media.

From what I know a villain got Tenya brother. He had to leave urgently.

"Now let's break out the hardware! Of course there's only one person worthy of distributing the awards!" Midnight explained.

I heard my father laughing and chuckled slightly. Always with the dramatic entrances

"CITIZENS, I AM HERE!" He shouted as he jumped down from the roof of the stadium.

"So now that your here All Might why don't you start the presentation?" Midnight said nervously after ruining his grand entrance.

"Haha young Bakugo congratulations you showed great strength out there." He gave him the medal.

"Tch Whatever," Katsuki replied.

"However you've more training to do if you're going to be able to fight against different kinds of villains, you're not going to be able to rely on your quirk in every battle you face." All Might smiled giving him a hug.

Dad walked to Todoroki and handed him the medal. "Young Todoroki, congratulations. I'm assuming there's a reason you didn't use your left side though it did cost you the final."

"Midoriya opened my eyes during our match, but then I stared to doubt myself I think I now understand a little about why you're so interested in him. I want to be the kind of hero you are, but my path isn't as clear as I thought it was. I have a lot to think about and I still need to settle things with someone, very soon." Todoroki looked at my father calmly.

"I've never seen this sort of look in your face before, I won't ask for details but trust yourself I'm sure you'll work things out." My father pulled him into a hug.

He walked to me proudly. "And now young Yagi! I've gotta say as your father I am extremely proud of you. However you can't always rely on your quirk hence why you passed out at the end. Congratulations," he smiled as he gave me the medal and pulled me into a hug.

I smiled. "I know dad. I'll train harder in the future."

"The winners of this years sports festival! But listen closely any of you first years could've ended up standing on these podiums, think about what you've done today. You've challenged each other, learned and climbed even closer towards your goals to being pros! I think the next generation of hero's is proving to be our most promising one yet!"

"So I have one thing to say! I want to hear everyone yell it with me! U.A's...." dad said something while everyone else said plus ultra.

I looked at him confused, I didn't even understand what he said. Everyone boo'd him and yelled saying it was the perfect time to say plus ultra. It was though.

Time skip brought you by that awkward shout

"Nice work, you have the next two days of school off to recuperate, I'm sure the pros who watched the festival will want to recruit some of you. We'll look over the draft forms and update you when you return, get some rest you still have a lot of training." Mr. Aizawa said.

"Yes Sir!" Everyone except Katsuki replied.

We all went home and I went straight to bed after I put my phone on charge.

Guys I've been wondering. Should I make Shinsou transfer to either class 1-A, class 1-B or stay in general studies?
