Xavier

Looks like the loser finally got put in his place. Heh. He deserved it. The nerve of him! How dare he stand up to me!

"Yo, Xavier. Who's that little guy?" I turned to my desk mate.

"He was that punk who insulted me earlier! I'm gonna kill him for that later."

This is Marcus. He has been my best friend since we were kids. He is also one of my genuine friends. Being rich has its downsides too, you know. It's kinda hard to tell if a person really wants to be your friend, or just wants your money and fame. Because of this, I have to be careful every time I make a new friend.  Even though I admit I was flirting with the girls at the school entrance, I don't really mean it. It just has to do with my personality, I guess.

"Yo! Thinking of a girl, Xavier?"

I turned to my other desk mate. "Shut up, Leo."

This is my second best friend. His name is Christopher, but me and Marcus just call him Chris. He's kinda rich too. Like Marcus, he has been my best friend since childhood and one I could definitely trust.

"Now, class. What's the answer to this question?"

I raised my hand up. "652759."

"Correct! Great job, Xavier! Now, blah blah blah blah(cause I'm too lazy lol) From across the room, I could hear girls squealing and whispering to each other. I could hear a little bit of what they were talking about. "He's so smart! And handsome too!"

As you probably already know and found out, I am smart. Well, technically because my dad force me and Xander to study hard and get good grades. Yeah, I really gotta thank him sometime for that.

After putting my stuff into my locker, I went on to my next class without Marcus or Leo since I don't have the same class with them. As I was on my way, I saw that little punk walking in the same direction as me while talking with that boy I saw him talking with earlier. 

"It's good to know that there's someone I know in the same class as me, I would be lonely if you weren't here, Lucas."

"Hey, don't sweat it man. We're buddies, after all." 

I saw them turn and walk towards the direction of my class. 'Grrr..... Why does he have to be in the same class with me again?' Before they could walk into the class, I shoved the punk and walked into the class. 

"Hey! Watch where you're going!" he shouted at me while rubbing his shoulder. "Whatever." I replied while taking a seat at the back. "Tch." he cursed under his breath, but I was able to hear. "It's alright, Brendan. Don't let him get to you." his friend said to him. They walked over to two empty seats far away from me. 

As I was about to take a quick nap before class, a few girls came beside me. They were blushing madly while tongue tied. "Well?"

"U-u-u-ummm, w-we were...wondering if...we could sit next t-to you?"

Hearing this, I smirked. "Sure." I agreed giving them a wink. Seeing this, their face went even redder than before. "T-t-t-thanks!" They took the three vacant seats beside while talking to me, asking questions like "Are you single?" or "Do you have a girlfriend?". I sighed. 'Why did I agree again?'

Bored, I looked up to see a girl talking to that punk. She was blushing and he was smiling at her. "Tch." I . "What's wrong?" one of the girls asked me. "Nothing."

Why was I so mad when I saw him talking to that girl. Whatever. That girl doesn't deser- I mean he doesn't deserve that girl. She is too pretty for him. Luckily, the teacher came in and she had to sit back at her seat. The whole class was boring, nothing much really happened. Besides of course the girls sitting next to me fangirling over me and that guy getting scolded by this teacher for sleeping(again), nothing much really happened. 'How did that guy even get in here if he keeps on sleeping? He must either be rich or he pulled some strings.'

Brendan

"Do not sleep in my class again! I'll let you off the hook this time, but next time you won't be so lucky."

"Ya, ya. Ok, I got it..."

Well, looks like I really screwed up today. It's only the first day, and I already got on the bad side of two teachers! I guess I shouldn't have been watching anime again late last night, cause now I'm so sleepy. I turned to Lucas as he nudged my elbow. "Looks like someone got scolded by two teachers in a row, huh?"

"Eh...Well, ya..."

"You should probably pay attention to the class and the others for the rest of the day. Or at least make it seem like you're paying attention. I wouldn't wanna get sent into the principal's office if I were you."

"Ya."

"FINALLY!"

Catrina, Lucas and Mel giggled at me when I screamed loudly in front of the school gate which also earned some glares from the other students. It's now the end of school, which means no more getting stuck in classes!

"Must you scream so loud when school finishes? And just when I had gotten used to you." Mel sighed. "Hehe, sorry about that. I just really don't like school."

"Anyway, we gotta head back first. See ya guys!" Lucas and Mel then walked to the opposite direction of me and Catrina. "Hey, Brendan!" I turned to her. "Hmm?" "Can we go back home together? Since my house is close to yours."

"Sure!"

We started walking together on the way back to out houses. On the way, we talked about school today. As we reached her house, I suddenly felt a cold chill behind my back. I turned around but nobody was there. "Hello? Brendan? What's wrong? You okay?"

"Ya, I'm fine." I assured her. "I just thought someone was following us."

"There's no one there. It must've been your imagination."

"Yeah."

"Anyways, goodbye! See you tomorrow!"

"Bye!"

I walked towards my house which was just a few blocks away from hers. 'I could've sworn I saw somebody behind us though.' I shrugged it off and went into my house. I immediately slept after that. Luckily, there was no homework today.

"Mission accomplished."
