It all started with a common craving for the taste of adventure. Something that I had always begged for was now finally becoming a reality. It is indescribable; the feeling experienced when you transition from talking about your dreams to then living your dreams. And before I knew it, my bags were packed, my heart was pounding, and my eyes were wide open.

My cousin and I arrived at Munich airport on June 11, 2017. Both extremely exhausted, and yet completely thrilled to be starting another adventure. Last year we had travelled together through Southern Europe with an additional friend of mine, Tiano. And this year we were jaunting through Eastern Europe, only missing our addition.

I wanted to write about the moments I have when I travel. But, 'dear diary' felt too impersonal to express.

I always believe in the moment. That moment, in which you are the embodiment of contentment. In that moment where the world stands still, and there is only you; watching, and breathing, and embracing your surroundings; where nothing is less than perfect. Your entire being feels whole and blissfully certain that you are capable of everything.

I got on that plane on June 11, 2017, and immediately Fly Me To The Moon played through the speaker above. Followed by another one of Frank Sinatra's greatest hits. And it was in that moment, I knew this trip was going to be something extraordinary.

I believe in the moments. I live for the moment.
