TEASE
The strong scent of her perfume drove him nuts as she passed directly on front of and then on by him, so much so that Robbie closed his eyes took a deep breath in through his nose and then bit down on his fist. He wanted to watch her as she moved on and knew that he couldn't. be strong, don't give in.
Hazel turned back to see that she had achieved the exact effect that she had intended before turning forward again. She didn't want Robbie to know she had looked back at him as he did give in ... to a degree ... turning to watch her walk away. He couldn't help himself. There was an extra shake in her rear end as Hazel continued on her way.
Her short skirt revealed those heavenly legs which, to Robbie, seemed to go on forever. Her tight-fitting top hugged her curves in a way which left Robbie looking like a child throwing a temper tantrum jumping up and down. This point was hers.
For both Robbie and Hazel had much more than just feelings for each other, they each could see a soul mate in the other, but neither were willing to make the first move to a relationship. Both are blessed with physical features, the kind of which that most would kill for, in this ... there is a basis of offence each could throw at the other. What they have has almost become a game, it was a game, it is a game, each teasing the other until one eventually does give in.
Working on the deck of a very expensive yacht on a warm bright day, unfortunately one that wasn't his own, the yacht that is and not the day, Robbie took off his shirt to reveal his chiseled features, well aware that Hazel was looking on from the dock. The recent extra hours in gyms worth every second of effort.
The heat of the sun belted down and Robbie paused for a moment or two to slowly sip on an ice-cold drink. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed Hazel smile before she began to walk away. He has his most recent point but is a score actually being kept?
Being from such a small town, it was only a matter of time until both Hazel and Robbie found themselves invited to the same wedding. Six degrees of separation ... out here it is more to a degree of one. Avoiding contact with the other for most of the day, glances were thrown from one to the other. Their eyes were unable to avoid the contact that their bodies were hiding from. Games were suspended for this day and this day only.
There is difficulty in keeping up a singular support to the friend they each represent. This is a wedding, is there to be one in their joint future?
Eventually it was going to happen. Eventually Robbie and Hazel would meet face to face, eye to eye, body to body. The wedding ceremony came and went. The meal had been served and eaten. Now it was time for the band to begin playing the first song, and the first song needs a first dance. The dance would begin with the bride and groom obviously enough, then the brides' maids and grooms' men joined in, before the groom grabbed Robbie and the bride grabbed Hazel leaving them both to face the other on the dance floor.
Hazel looks up at the taller Robbie as their eyes continued to stare into each other's. Even though their games were suspended, it was still difficult not to play, difficult for either one to give in. Which one would take the other and begin the dance? The seconds passed like minutes. Eventually they took each other at the same time and began to slow dance together. A kiss was soon to follow. Neither initiated it alone.
Making up for lost time, or eager not to waste it any further, Robbie and Hazel spent the night together. It was as good or better than either could have hoped a night like that could be. As the morning brought back the day light, so too a new game began, or more like a continuance of the previous game, the same game for neither Robbie nor Hazel had made the first move for the previous night to have happened.
A reversion had come. All bets had been off, and neither had individually given in before the other. So as once was, is once again. If Robbie and Hazel are to have another night together one or the other will have to make the first move. It is more of a matter of who will be the one to give in. Will Robbie and Hazel ever become the couple they are meant to be? Or are they destined to play this game for the rest of their lives?
